It's so close to everything and right in a main intersection. I like it because it's by Penguin's, the Big Chill, and Westside Pavilion Mall, Landmark Theatres, and the Trader Joe's. I can get so many errands done in this little area!

Pretty nice and clean as far as gas stations go. Really nice mini mart too - great selection of gum. Prices were pretty high for gas, but that's to be expected right now - not sure it has anything to do with this particular station. No parking spaces other than at the pumps. Definitely busy after work. On the corner so you can access it from either Westwood or Olympic.

30 to 40 percent higher prices than other gasoline around

expensive gas station and it's literally price gouging. if you can stay away go somewhere else

This gas station is so bad. The guy that works here is rude and doesn't know how to have a conversation he acts like a robot. Also the gas is maybe 50 cents more than everywhere else I hope they go out of business soon

Attendant would not let me use air for tires after I paid for gas. Will never ever patronize Mobil ever again! The attendant is a Ken!

Probably the highest priced gas in all of LA. Try to find elsewhere. Nearly 25% higher then anywhere else.

Review #927 2025-105…read more It's been almost a decade since I've been to this Shell station, but I used to infrequently stop here en route home from Westwood because the prices were fairly competitive & it's near the 405 Fwy. I was meeting some friends for the movies when my car's low pressure light turned on, & the next exit happens to be by Shell. I parked by the air/water station to check my tires & they seem fine. The machine didn't have a separate tire pressure gauge to check the PSI; I needed 35 PSI (front) & 32 PSI (rear) for my car. Since I don't need to buy gas, I had to pay $3.00 for 5-mins. The instructions were relatively easy to follow, but I questioned its accuracy since it didn't beep or indicate when it reached the targeted PSI that I enter (modern ones stop automatically), especially on the passenger side when I can't read the gauge. When I was pumping air on the right side, it read at 40 PSI, which makes sense since I've been driving a few miles. Just to be sure, I went into the convenience store & ask for assistance. The attendant couldn't be bothered, but I said I think the machine might be a problem since the low pressure light was still showing after adjusting/lowering the PSI. After rudely telling me to wait because another customer cut in front of me for his car wash issue, he walked out & provided another 5-mins. of air & watched me put air in the front left tire. It was at 40 PSI, which was odd since it stopped during my initial attempt. I explained that to him, & he said just wait for it to reach 35 & walked away. I re-did all 4 tires & the low pressure light was still on. I was running tight on time, & didn't want to dispute the air/water station's accuracy after this 2nd attempt. It may not be the machine, but my car's sensor since the tires look properly inflated. I drove the rest of the way via streets at moderate speeds to minimize the risk of a blowout. Did you know? Since 01/2000, gas stations must provide free compressed air, water, & a pressure gauge during operating hours to paying (gas) customers. Most drivers don't know about this law & pay for air. In past visits, I didn't need assistance (whew!). And just like cellular service, everything's peachy keen until it's not, then you're in service hell just trying to get the service that you paid for. I'm quite put-off by Shell's lack of customer service & care for motorist safety. I doubt I'll be back here at this Shell station.

I have no words for a business in which a kid with chip on his shoulder who's behind the counter…read moregives me dirty looks because I informed him the dryer in the car wash isn't working properly. "I can hear it," he told me. So could I. AND it doesn't work. Both can be true at the same time and were. I'm not afraid of a little elbow grease. I have no problem using a shaded gas island to dry my soaked car. This kid behind the counter apparently doesn't want to listen to any feedback, even when it's something to help. The old adage "the customer is always right" is simply lost on this business. The kid's attitude is a reflection of the business itself and THAT'S what matters here. I've been on crutches for 8 years. I don't ask for favors from anyone. I'm too independent for my own good. But this kid seemed to take helpful feedback personally. And he's the reason I'm posting this review. If this was the first time I had an issue with this Shell, I'd let it slide but it's not. I csme here a few months ago to fill up and have my car washed only to find an untimed note on the door that the cashier stepped out with no indication as to when they left or might return so customers can get help. And so now I'm done. I found the Chevron station down the road in March. Their car wash is fantastic. Same drive through concept except the car comes out clean as a whistle. Their lines are longer. I understand why. Even given gas prices, I'll take it. Lesson learned. Don't offer helpful input about equipment failures to the Shell at Venice and Sepulveda. You'll be treated like *you're* the problem.
