I'm so shocked by the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism I experienced while trying to get my master cylinder fixed. It's already difficult as a woman to find a mechanic that feels trustworthy and this business feels like the epitome of scammer mechanic. I messaged on Tuesday and booked my appointment for Friday. Confirmed with him said I'll see him Friday. He canceled on me day of 3 hours before the appointment. I took the afternoon off work so I could do this. I asked to reschedule for Saturday or Sunday because his website said he was available both days from 10-3 he said not available. He didn't want to do it for a reason unknown to me. I asked for the $60 deposit back but apparently I was the one that canceled on him so I don't get the deposit back? Even tho I woke up to a text saying he can't come today or any time this weekend because he doesn't feel like it. I've had to argue for the deposit and I'm still uncertain if I'll actually get the $60 back he doesn't see to be the most trustworthy. Genuinely so scammy he's the reason people don't trust mechanics because they behave like this as soon as it's time to actually to business. He was so pushy about booking the appt too saying if I don't book right away it will cause "delays" whole time he's the delay. Last Saturday I took my car to a different mechanic to have the engine light check knowing that it wasn't safe to drive. I talk to the mechanic and explain what the problem was and that he will do a routine diagnosis and it won't be ready till late in the afternoon. So I called him and told me that it needed a new PCV Valve and hose along with a new air flow meter and gave me an estimate. I drove the car back home and noticed it was very sluggish like it wasn't picking up speed. I wasn't very happy and his shop just closed after I left so now I had no transportation and went on Yelp to find a reliable mechanic and that's when I came upon this site. It was Sunday morning when I scheduled an appointment through their app website and Charles was very prompt, friendly and professional came by look under the hood and bingo it was hose that had a tear on the side which was leaking air. He placed an order but since it was Sunday and couldn't be done till the next day. He was able to tape the hose with a strong Gorilla tape but that was a temporary measure. We set up an appointment at where I work came by that afternoon with the part and also able to to tighten the battery which was on a loose tray but he was able to tied around with a pair of bungie cables and that did the trick. I couldn't been any more happier now that the car runs smoothly. Definitely recommend him with my friends and co-workers. read more

Had a sudden non-start of my car when pulled in my garage. It was not your average dead/discharged battery. Mobile Auto Works came very quickly in an hour. We spent one hour diagnosing the problem. Turned out that the wire coming out of the computer controlled relay box was bad somewhere in the engine bay between the computer relay and the starter itself. Mobile Auto Works was able to quickly run in parallel to the harness a new patch wire. This repair has held for more than several months and went through a week of challenging trails. read more

Yes all the 5 stars are legit! On Monday I was heading to my office I walked out to find my Lincoln Hybrid dead. After checking the batteries in my remote I was hoping it was just a battery. From what I understood hybrid batteries can be crazy expensive. I called Mobile Auto Works and Charles picked up immediately. He very patiently listened and gave me his suggestions and plan of action. He just to happened to have barely used batteries for my car which he would charge beforehand. Charles is the best mechanic I've ever met or done business with. Don't take my word for it, look at all his reviews. He is so booked up but he will do his best to squeeze you into his schedule. I am in the market for a used vehicle and Charles saved me from spending nearly all my money on a car that was not worth the firm price the seller on Craigslist was listing. Charles arrived on our agreed upon appointment on time and we waited for the seller and he is a funny charismatic man. So we chopped it up and when the seller finally arrived she started talking to me and Charles immediately pulled me away and said he needs me to be with him for every point of the inspection. This seller has listed her Lexus ES 350 as being in "like new" conditon with no accidents, clean title, no leaks, perfect barely driven and she made it seem like the perfect purchase. Charles immediately found so many things messed up with the car and even questioned the seller about the accident she said never happened and left her stuttering and mumbling and eventually the seller got embarassesd and upset because she got caught for lying and literally got in her car and ran away. He has this subtle humorous way about calling people out for their BS and it was just so entertaining. Then Charles gave me some advice on how to identify people on Craigslist selling used cars that are most likely not being honest. Charles knows his cars, is a stand up guy and will do right by you. My girlfriend called in and spoke to the guy who answered for about 5-10 minutes and he answered all of her questions and seemed to be very helpful and said that they were available for the next 8 hours. I ran to the store, picked up the part I needed replaced (an EGR Valve) and called back to schedule a time this afternoon and the same guy kept it very brief, let me they were too busy and didn't even bother to let me know any future dates or times when they would be available. Not the best customer service experience. Especially when I'm out of town for the weekend and in need of help. ...and now the owner of the business is harassing me online. I was interested in buying a used car and needed a mechanic to do a PPI before pulling the trigger. Luckily, Charles was able to fit an inspection into his schedule in the same day and arrived at my house when all the other dealerships seemed to be too busy for my service request. Charles was thorough and methodical with his approach to the car inspection. He was comfortable going under my car and checking all the nooks and crannies to look for any damages or discrepancies, even with the car being dirty from being delivered from Texas earlier that day. He found small imperfections in the paint that is evident with repainting (I'm talking about REAL tiny like a grain of sand sized!) Charles also spotted issues with the tires sidewalls being damaged and some of the plastic clips missing from under the front bumper. He didn't mind that I was there and asking questions. He was very knowledgeable about cars and what to look for. Outside from that he was easy to approach and talk to. After the inspection, we talked it over and he pointed out everything that was found, he also emailed all of his findings. Given how small the issues were, I bought the car based off of the inspection. Based on Charles's email, I was able to get compensation for the damages from the dealership. Mobile Auto Works provided exceptional customer service every part of the way from the first to last interaction: Charles responded within a minute to my inquiry text early Saturday morning about checking out my car that would not start. Within an hour, he met me at the parking garage where I had left my car overnight. Based on my text he thought it would be a simple battery issue fix. But during in person check, he realized the P1260 error code he got from his diagnostic tool would require a different resolution. He immediately let me know that, due to this, the quote for the fix would have to be adjusted. He then took the time to explain what the error code (related to theft detection immobilizing my vehicle) meant and thus I was able to trace back how I may have caused the issue to happen in the first place. He continued troubleshooting until he was able to get my engine up and running. He next detailed the steps he took. And he was transparent that if the issue relating to this particular error code persisted, it would require a visit to the dealership to check out the mobilizer.
