I went back to my previous dentist (who is also a professor of dentistry) and asked for a second opinion and was told that they couldn't find any reason why that work should be done. For insurance reasons, I stuck with Franklin, figuring I know who I'm dealing with and that I could still get my teeth cleaned, etc., and just ignore their bogus treatment plans. But the cleanings were so inadequate I finally gave up on them... I don't think they ever spent more than 15 minutes on a cleaning. I also never felt that I could trust them not to damage my teeth on purpose so that I would need to have work done. So I changed to a different dentist. I requested that Franklin send my X-rays and their suggested Treatment Plans to the new dentist, but they never did. My understanding is that they are legally required to do this, but they did not despite repeated requests. So I ended up having to pay for new X-rays. All-in-all, going to a dentist that can't be trusted is a horrible experience and you should just stay away from Franklin Dental Care.

Dental work always terrifies me especially when the anesthesia shot(s) required. This awful experience proves me right that anesthesia shots are not as safe as people claim to be. I've always had teeth issues/weak enamel and a lot of sensitivity, and my mouth became a little more complicated a few years ago with onset of a chronic inflammatory condition that affects my mouth (OLP). The staff here is SO patient and gentle, and go above and beyond to help me avoid too much friction and other triggers. I feel very comfortable and trust their care. I came today for my final checkup, cleaning and polishing of the year. My husband will get his last one of the year tomorrow. It's nice to be able to park in this lot and walk right in. The new space is really nice, new, and clean.
