Dr. Shruti Lakhanpal has seen me twice now for emergency tooth extractions. She is calm, caring and incredibly good at what she does. She has made me feel safe and cared for at my very worst moments and for that I am so very grateful. After completing the mold and not receiving a follow-up, I emailed them. Responses would be delayed or ignored, and never were they answered by the same representative. I then used Facebook Messenger. Despite being responsive, I had to redo the aligner molds in November. Tired of the delay and the run-around, I finally made an in-person appointment. Visiting the Walnut Creek location (on December 13th) was the greatest decision made. Our host was very welcoming and touched base with my situation, prompting me to ask questions--to which he honestly answered. I was then helped by Nickole, who is the sweetest and most helpful SmileGuide! Nickole is very positive and caring, taking her time to understand my personal Smile journey and offering her honesty and boundless support. She is gentle, even warning that there may be a slight tug (to which there was no pain!). She restored my faith in Smile Direct Club, and honestly makes me wish she could be my regular aide/hygienist! Now I await my kit--which will take 4-5 weeks to be processed and shipped. If you have a choice, please do create an in-person appointment.
