Never say never!! Of course we get stuck just off the road that is not labeled on any map or gps. Was quoted $600PLUS from salt flats towing (due to being greater than 20 feet from i80- but like who gets stuck in the mud on a highway anyways?? Lol) before finding Ricks number. I gave him our location based off the colors and directions of the surrounding mountains / flats and he found us no problem! And less than a third of the cost! Wasn't a difficult job but it was really far out of the way and he was already running errands. THANK YOU SO MUCH for pausing your day to come help out a couple stranded gals. I called Ryder to get someone else and they said he just called 90 minutes later to say he was having problems with their tow truck. When he did finally respond, he mentioned to make sure I notated his name being Eddie, I am attaching screenshots for people to see their lack of professionalism. I received another text from Eddie, pretty much should more than demonstrate the lack of professionalism that this place has. I sent the below screenshots to Ryder higher ups as well as advised them to find better and more professional options. I am a combat vet and I suffer from PTSD, my dachshunds accompany me in the semi, any person willing to leave someone on the side of the road in 10-15 degree weather with no way to run the truck and then laugh when he said he told Ryder that he wouldn't even come back with his pickup so my dogs and I could stay warm until a tow truck could get there speaks volumes on the kind of person who runs this business.

I hired Rob to replace the radiator on my semi truck. Everything went well at the beginning a week…read morelater the truck left and the coolant level had dropped about an inch. We thought it was normal so we refilled it and continue using the truck 2 1/2 months later The radiator began leaking A large amount of coolant through the bottom, my mechanic took out the bumper, and when inspecting the bottom of the radiator, we realized that a a bolt was never screwing to the frame, and it was left hanging in between two of the tubes. We realize that with the vibration of the truck and the bolt moving back-and-forth, it had open a hole on the bottom of the radiator. There was also a bracket that was left unbolted and just hanging on the bottom. I contacted Rob to ask about the warranty on this so that I can replace the radiator and Rob no longer answers my calls or text messages. And almost $4000 job lasted 2 1/2 months.

On a recent mineral collecting expedition, we experienced trouble with the anti-theft system on a Ford Expedition. The system turned on and the truck wouldn't start. After some time, we managed to get it started and drive to West Wendover. We took the truck to Brad's, but could not simulate the problem. We told him where we were headed-- a remote hilltop 80 miles away on the Utah border. He promised to look for us if we did not check back in. I had food poisoning that day from one of the local casinos. And as luck would have it, we were stranded on the mountain. High up a reasonably steep and rough dirt road. Night fell, no Brad. We contacted Ford by standing on the ridge in a lightning storm, demanding to know how to start the car. My German friend kept insisting that this anti-theft system on an off road vehicle could kill someone. Well it's funny how messages change when they pass hands. The Ford employee called the local Sheriff and told him that someone was going into diabetic shock on the mountain. Around midnight, we watched a truck with flashing lights drive up the mountain. The Sheriff was a nice man, offered me gatorade for my ailing stomach, and called off the ambulace. Minutes later, Brad appeared. He'd been searching for us for hours. Unable to start the truck, he came back the next morning with a tow truck. No way the truck could get up the mountain, so Brad drove it down in neutral with very limited brakes. It was quite a sight. I'll do some crazy things, but no way I'd pilot that truck down the mountain without fully functioning brakes. He charged us a negligible fee for all the time, effort, and risk he took to help us, and we were towed to the nearest Ford dealership as Ford will not allow small shops to work on the electronics for the theft systems. It was really a funny night, stressed out germans, food poisoning, a lightning storm, and emergency vehicles chasing false reports in one of the most remote areas a person can find in the U.S. We were contacted by a reporter from Salt Lake the next morning. This shop has earned my respect when I'm in this corner of nowhere.
