My car had an unfortunate run in with a gigantic tree branch. The mother trucking branch fell out of nowhere. It left an unsightly dent on the hood. Mysteriously it didn't scratch the paint. Could this possibly come out using PDR? (Paintless Dent Removal). I initially called a place that just does PDR but it was a little too far from my house and they were a little frustrating to schedule an appointment with. On a whim I called Affordable and they told me to come right down. Jaime gave me an estimate and told me to bring it back the next day. 24 hours later BOOM. That unsightly dent it gone. And the price? Well they definitely lived upto their name. But most of all the quality of repair was great. I can't tell at all where the dent was. 100% gone. And I'm 100% satisfied. Took my Honda Accord there--done in one day--paint match was perfect--going back with another car this week!

Let me start by saying I've been to these guys 3 times for 3 different problems on my car. They are by far the BEST as far as customer service and pricing. A couple years ago I got into a minor accident and the whole front bumper was wrecked on my Nissan Altima. It was covered through my insurance but I didn't have rental coverage. They paid for my rental for the day and had my bumper looking better than it did when I got the car within a few hours. Fast forward a couple years . . my Nissan is now really loud so I take it back in. Right when I walk into the shop I'm greeted by Jamie who remembered my name and everything. He gave me an estimate for a new flex pipe, and made an appointment for this week to have my car dropped off while I'm at work. He even told me they would give me a loaner car for the day so I won't have a problem getting to and from work. This place is the BEST. These guys know what they're doing. They're very honest and will find you ways to save as much money as possible, but still do an amazing job with the repairs. I had a side mirror replaced on my Honda CR-V and checked 3 local shops. Prices ranged from 1050.00 to 575.00. I went with Affordable Auto Body as they were recommended. They turned out to be the least expensive, faster than the other two and instead of leaving my car for a full day Jamie said give me 30 minutes!! Dang he was wrong, it only took him 20 minutes. Awful service! Good job fixing the body but when I first went in, I made it specific to fix the steering/suspension and that was priority. When I contacted Jaimey to let him know it's not 100% fixed, he shrugged and said try another place. AFTER I HAD ALREADY PAID!!! I asked him to look at the problem again but he wouldn't budge and now I'm stuck trying another shop to fix what he couldn't. read more

Yesterday was my first experience there after visiting another auto body shop just down the road for an estimate. I noticed the sign and just pulled in. As I parked, one of the guys came out, introduced himself and asked how he could help. Within 30 seconds he sensed I was in a hurry to get this done and was concerned about cost. He offered to do it for just about half of what the firm up the street could do and..promised to start on it right away. I went to the office, met one of the co-owners and had a very friendly talk while I waited to be picked up, having left the vehicle there to be worked on. While I was waiting, my vehicle was brought in and work began immediately. I'm sure that this was due to the fact that they knew I needed it in a hurry. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! I was looking at a used car at a dealership nearby, and needed to have someone inspect the vehicle. Jamie was not only friendly, helpful, and attentive, he was able to get me in almost immediately the same day. In December 2016 I had a single-vehicle incident in which I damaged my front right fender, bumper, and wheel. Luckily, the wheel was fine and I was able to drive home. I didn't want to claim it on insurance, as I'd raise the premiums on about 3 vehicles and (I feel as if) I'd continue to pay for it for the rest of my driving life. So I got quotes up and down the street -- if you know where Affordable is, you know which street -- and I got 3 other quotes. I was clear and up-front with each of the shops that I did *not* want to claim it on insurance and that I had limited savings from which to draw in order to repair what I could. Well, that preamble notwithstanding, they all quoted well in excess of $4,500 and said, "well if you tell your insurance guy [this or that]..." I repeated that this would be out-of-pocket only, so what could I cut back on, and one shop (you know who you are) *added* to the estimate, saying "well, you should repair that wheel, too, look at it -- it's damaged and could fall off at any time; you're putting your life on the line there." I walked into Affordable, fairly downcast, expecting nothing. There sat Al Danka, one of the owners, and explained to me a number of ways to cut back on costs, and what that would entail (for example, "we can replace your hood with a cheaper generic, cutting 60% off its price, but it wouldn't be the same brand name as your damaged German OE"). In this way, Al methodically got my total repair bill down to about 1/3 of what the other guys were quoting me. He actually talked to me and worked with me, explaining the trade-offs in decreasing cost. I sat with my phone, pricing out my own wholesale parts cost online, and found that he was quoting labor rates that were a fraction of the guys down the street (don't even get me started with the hourly rates and hourly minimums being charged at the dealerships, which go up every year). The repairs were done professionally and, to my eye, perfectly. And you know, that wheel never did fall off and get me killed. Al has passed on now (rest in peace, Al) but his partner and son-in-law Jamie continues the tradition of high quality and fair dealing at this place. I recently stopped by to see if he would be willing to replace my tires, brakes, and front rotors. Like another review here mentions, Jamie remembered me, my car, and the repair from my previous visit as soon as I walked in. Long story short, he did a perfect job in record time (he had all of the parts in hand within about 90 minutes of my consultation). I could have bought all the parts at Tire Rack and done it with my mechanically-inclined daughter over an afternoon, as this is the way we have worked around mechanics' high rates in the past. (It gives us an excuse to "pay ourselves" or indulge in a treat for saving so much money). But at the reasonable rates Affordable Auto Body charges, I see no reason why experts shouldn't do it for me. The adage, "if you want to get it done, ask a busy person" applies here. These guys are always busy and I think it's because people recognize quality and value when they experience it. Seriously, give them a try before you look anywhere else. Quality of work horrible, management and new ownership very shady, hidden damage caused at the shop that was found after a second opinion, brush you off after returning 3 other times for the same concern and terrible customer service. Note: the damage caused at the shop was from poor workmanship and as a result was only found due to an ongoing concern. Mean while they cash the big big ins.check and never gave a invoice.
