SOUTHGATE MALL LOCATION: Disappointing "service" and a cold reception. Never felt so unwelcome in my life. Very poor customer service. Just a rude experience and will not be back. Ultimately I reversed my idea of getting anything repaired by this firm and took my business elsewhere. Unfortunately I would not recommend the company to anyone who is looking for experienced and kind service. Truly a disappointing experience all around. Would give 0 stars if able. Time to send staff to a qualifies customer service tune up course. I think it's fair to say that this company, if it hired the right people, could really succeed. I had a mixed experience with this particular store. My Samsung S10 cell phone died on a Monday night. Tuesday morning I was there waiting for the store to open. A pleasant employee took my information and said the problem would be diagnosed. Thursday I called -- they had to "order a cable from Samsung in order to diagnose the problem." This sounded odd, like you take your car to a garage for service and they have to go to Canadian Tire to buy a wrench? Anyway the following Monday I called. The wrong parts came, they were for a different model of phone, new parts have been ordered. Eventually on Thursday afternoon, 9 days after I dropped my phone off, I called and they said the motherboard was ruined and a repair would cost similar to a new phone. Surprisingly when I offered to pay for the diagnostic work the gentleman said that was no charge. I went and got a new phone. Unbelievably, when I got the new phone connected to the network, there were several voicemails from Mobile Klinik! Yes!!! Can you believe it? The phone was dead, they had it in their store, they were working on it, and yet they were calling it and leaving messages on it. I mean, come on, that is stupid. Some positives, some negatives, it took 9 days to tell me the phone was finished. Not the business I am in so I don't know what is normal, but their website says many phones are repaired within an hour. Positives included very polite employees, nice clean store, free parking, no charge for trying to see if they could fix my phone. read more

The technician there could repair my iPhone but I asked him if he could open my sister's iPad as she forgot her PW. He said he'd do it at NO CHARGE! I returned the next day and now he demands $35 to restore the iPad. I came all the way to WEM so I was mad but said okay as he stiffed me. While waiting an hour to restore it, I dropped by the Apple Store & they said they'd do the same FOR FREE!! First, there was the misrepresentation of services and then he claims he said no such thing; his colleague said that indeed he did. Then there is making $26 off of me (his colleague reduced it by $10). Second, he could have referred me to the Apple Store! I found Mobile Klinik from Samsung's website. When I went into the store I found out that they are the only Samsung authorized service center in Alberta. This applies only to the Mobile Klinik at the Phase I location. I was in search of an authorized Samsung dealer to unlock a tablet from work. An employee no longer with my company synced the device to his personal accounts and was locked. Only with a bill of sale and an authorized Samsung dealer can you unlock your device. When I went to get the tablet unlocked i was told to return in 30-45 minutes. I had given all my contact info as well as the device to be unlocked. I went for lunch and returned 45 minutes later to be told that the Samsung server was down and they wouldn't be able to unlock the device at that time. There was no hurry device so I left it for the weekend. I returned on Monday to pick up the tablet but was told that the mini usb port on the bottom of the device was no good now. They were unsuccessful in getting the tablet unlocked and it is now going to the electronic recycling center as it is unlock-able. They service area had several phones in various states of repair. They fix pretty much all brands of phones. I don't know what all of their prices are like but to unlock the tablet was going to cost $85 but I never ended paying anything as they weren't able to unlock it. They have a large display wall of phone cases, chargers, cables and other phone accessions. If you are looking for an authorized Samsung service center for mobile devices, this is the only one in Alberta. read more

Terrible! Sold my old phone they gave me pre paid card instead of cash of course it didn't work anywhere I tried it. Call customer service for weeks no reply or answer, finally go in and demand something they give me a number to call other than the posted number on the card. I get a woman I can barely hear who tells me it's locked and somehow my fault for using it at the wrong places? Don't give them your business. read more

Had to go into the WEM location for an emergency phone repair at the last minute. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant despite the time crunch, and fixed my phone in short order. Their pricing was similar to other places in the mall, but the level of service easily puts them ahead, and I can't thank them enough. Hopefully an emergency like that never happens again, but if it does I know exactly where to go. read more

My phone was stuck on the apple logo so I took it here to get fixed. The lady working suggested replacing my cracked screen(which she went ahead with) for $180 then hopefully trying to fix the internal problem, which I later found out at apple was unfixable the whole time. I came back the next day and got a full refund after an hour long argument with both the worker and her "boss". Then I went to back to Apple and got a replacement IPHONE 7 for $40. These people are trained to rip people off that don't know much about phones. The manager honestly told me the reason I wanted a refund and was taking my business to Apple must have been because they were both Indian.... Cause that makes sense right? The guy helping me at Apple was ALSO Indian. When I asked why they rip people off and replace screens on UNFIXABLE phones, both the worker and her boss got extremely defensive. I had lengthy loud arguments with the workers boss. I couldn't believe how poorly he talked about other stores such as Apple and immediately used the racism card when I wanted a refund. 60 minutes or LESS was false too. I dropped my phone off at 10:10 (would have been 10am but they weren't open like every other store in the mall because their employee was clearly late), and it was ready around 12:30pm. Horrible experience. If you KNOW deep down inside that what you're doing is legit and helping people, then a simple refund would be no issues and you'd be more than helpful instead of the abuse I took here from the apparent BOSS of the store when I wanted my $180 back. You replaced a screen on a phone that would never turn on again. Great job guys. Thanks for wasting my time. More people will catch onto your scams soon so hopefully you have a backup plan to the "fixing phones business" read more

I went to the Mobile Klinik Phase-IV to fix my I-Phone that had problems charging from the 110V. THey took my phone and found there were some little particles probably from my jeans pockets stuck inside the connector/slot. They cleaned the slot and no charge. My phone is now working perfectly.
