The naan was hot and semi-fresh, but superb, and the chicken tikka and saag paneer were both tasty and made to perfection.

Checking in was a bit of a wait, as they didn't have the Yelp participants' information on their sheets; the staff just ended up writing down the admission ticket numbers and our names. We each received a nice Tanger Outlets canvas bag with the complimentary wine glass, and 6 sampling sampling tickets; the wine glass wasn't needed, as each of the wine vendors had sample cups. We sampled: +Trueman Vineyards - literally my favorite - their mulled wine was warm and delicious, and super perfect for the fall season! +Boordy Vineyards - the Chambourcin Merlot was smooth with a slight cherry taste +Narcisso Wine Cellar - they had a nice selection of both whites and reds +Rose Garden Wines - featured their red I absolutely LOVED Bobby McKey's, the dueling piano bar (that was mobile!), that played live at the festival - they were amazing! Tanger Outlets also had a table, and there was a wheel of prizes - I ended up winning a stuffed bear, which I was extremely excited about! :D The space was nicely set up, with plenty of seating and great decor - the pumpkins and the wine barrels with the floral arrangements were such a nice touch! I loved the variety of food trucks that were parked at the perimeter of the festival - there was Caribbean, crepes, sandwiches, Cinnabon, Mexican, and more! Parking was free and ample at the Outlets! Thank you for a great Friday evening! +Bobby McKey's! +wine sampling +local winemakers +friendly staff

They're usually closed the days that I'm in the Upper Marlboro area, but not this time! It's in the same Plaza as the Amish market, so there's plenty of parking. I stepped inside and there were a couple of chairs for waiting along the window. Otherwise, it's a small open space and there are desserts on display, I'm in you to read, and very polite staff behind the counter. I decided to get the blackened salmon and shrimp entree with collard greens and mac and cheese. I got their salts at caramel banana pudding for dessert. I decided to use my insulated bag and wait until I got to my friend's house to eat. I love the shrimp and the salmon. They were seasoned well, but not to a point of tasting too salty, which can happen at a lot of soul food restaurants for me. Unfortunately, despite the good flavor, this was the case with the collard greens, whew. Also, there is turkey in there, so don't get it as a vegetarian option! The mac and cheese was good... Not sure where I would put it in my rankings, but I enjoyed it. That banana pudding.... Whoa. It was the perfect dessert, and I would happily get it again. The salted caramel and banana balance surprisingly well. Their top rankings are well deserved, and I am looking forward to trying their wings and other items next time!

It was beautiful seeing a sea of pink and white outfits on pink blankets and for that I am grateful. The weather was perfect and the crowds were very pleasant. The problem was the unorganized and unprofessional staff. Yelp sent me tickets to this event and I appreciate them for that profusely. They could have given those tickets to hundreds of other yelp elites. I got the general admission tickets and I ended up with all the VIP perks. I went to the VIP area and got into the VIP parking. I refused to stand in any lines for food ( three to four food trucks for 300+ people) or anything else. I waited about 39 minutes for the picture wall and eventually decided to check out the Airforce one experience and grab lunch at the nearby Redstone. Everyone I encountered felt the same way I did and wished they hadn't purchased tickets. I on the other hand was there as a guest of yelp and couldn't really complain. I didn't spend a dime and got all the perks if there were any to be found. Overall I think they could have done a better job with the checkin process which took 30 minutes because all the iPads died and people were constantly complaining about rose tickets. They staff also didn't have on professional attire and looked like they just walked off the street. They were very frustrated with the amount of people complaining and didn't seem to have a chain of command. The whole event reminded me of the documentary about the disastrous FYRE music festival that never happened. At least I wasn't dropped on and island with no place to stay and no car. I fortunately had the option to get in my car or walk to a viable food option.

Great Ice Cream Truck!!!…read more We had an ice cream truck come to the neighborhood which had only gourmet ice cream. I was shocked when the kids weren't willing to stand in line and were not impressed with having just regular ice cream. This didn't sit well with my inner child. I had to explain to my kids how the ice truck would come to our neighborhood with it's music blazing and we would rush around get money out of our piggy banks and run out to chase the truck down, praying they hadn't left the neighborhood. I searched throughout yelp and online for a truck to give my kids the ice cream truck experience. Some of the trucks wanted minimum purchases of $150 or were more geared to an adult pallet We lucked up when we found Flavor of Love Ice Cream. I knew we picked the right truck when they came to the neighborhood with the classic ice cream music and my kids faces lit up with excitement. They had all the classic ice creams that kids love( Sponge Bob, strawberry short cake, Orange push-ups etc...). In addition to ice cream, they also make home made shaved ice which was also big hit. They also had Kosher ice cream! We liked supporting Flavor of Love Ice Cream as it is family run business by Wes, his two daughters and son. His daughters were very kind and have great customer service skills, which was amazing to see at their age. As our kids learn to play and ride their bikes outside through this pandemic, we hope to also reestablish the timeless ice cream truck tradition for the neighborhood

This family is wonderful to work with. They are quick to respond to texts and emails. Honestly, hosting a drive "two-ru" style birthday our son was a little overwhelming, but when I talked to Wes (owner) he had such a warm demeanor that calmed me down. He assured me that everything was going to turn out perfect...and it did! Thanks to you guys, our drive thru party was a hit.

I've been following this food truck for some time, and with a day off, I was finally able to check them out! The menu consists of your choice of Ssam (in a rice paper wrap filled with rice and your choice of meat and greens), the LunchBox (rice with your choice of meat and greens), the Hoagie (an 8" toasted sub stuffed with your choice of meat and greens), or a Salad (with your choice of meat and greens). The meat options are: bulgogi, chicken, or samgyupsal; the greens are either a Korean fruit and vegetable mix or a traditional southern-style coleslaw. There are sides, too, such as adding a fried egg or kimchi; you can also up your meat to a double portion of meat or do a half & half. We ordered 2 LunchBoxes - one with bulgogi, double meat, with a fried egg and kimchi, and one with samgyupsal, double meat, with a fried egg and kimchi. Boy, these were SO GOOD! The bulgogi had the right marination going on, and it was savory and had a good soy sauce/garlic taste to it - juicy, not too fatty, and great with the kimchi on the side. The samgyupsal was actually my favorite, as who doesn't like pork belly; the marination of the spices was on point, and this was also pretty delicious with the side of kimchi. I appreciate that the rice was cooked well - thank you! The staff here are SO friendly and SO nice - they take your order and call out when your order's up. There are some hot sauces that you can add, but the meats are so flavorful, you hardly need anything else! Definitely check this food truck out - the quality and the freshness can't be beat, and the portions are generous! +Korean yumminess! +LunchBoxes +friendly staff +check their social media for locations

My husband picked up the sliders and said the staff was very friendly. As for the sliders---We were pleasantly surprised! They were far better than we expected. The sliders were cooked medium plus they were seasoned with salt and pepper. They were very tasty. The only drawback was the rolls were on the cold side but that didn't take away from the overall flavoring. Each order comes with 2 sliders and we found that to be enough for a light meal. We're glad we were able to try their offerings. Should we ever come across them again, we wouldn't hesitate to order from them yet again.

I assumed that the bi-weekly food truck the apartment building had arranged would be another boring menu/should-have-just-eaten-a-bowl-of-cereal instead type thing, but something about the truck called out to me to check it out (probably the word "sliders"). There were several options, but I decided to go big and went for "The Dub" which was two pieces of perfectly cooked beef - and cheese!! - on each delicious brioche bun, and there were TWO of these beauties presented to me in no time. I raced inside and was thrilled to find that my "medium well" order was cooked perfectly; it is usually hard as a rock, but this was juicy and just the right color. The smell was incredible and the taste was perfection. As I was eating, my food-covered fingers were busy emailing friends in the building with "OMG, get to the food truck ASAP" messages. I sent a message afterwards to Reggie (chef and owner) who replied quickly and we hope he is back here soon! They also do catering, so if anyone is planning a party give him a call (and invite me).
