We stayed at Seven Feathers for the night on our way home...When we were ready to leave, the RV would not start. We called half a dozen mobile auto and RV services... Some wouldn't come out at all... Others prioritized other work ahead of our issue. All AAA wanted to do is was provide a Tow. This "guy" (his name is actually Guy) was AMAZING! He came out, diagnosed the issue (starter... Which is what we thought as well), brought the parts with him and had us up and on our way home in no time... 1 hr labor, service fee and parts... All VERY reasonably priced. I fully expected for all this to cost twice as much... It was a very pleasant surprise after all the stress of being stuck. I highly recommend Guy and Mobile Mechanic Service out of Roseberg OR. The water pump on our f-150 disintegrated on I-5 in heavy weather on a Sunday. Threw the serpentine in the process. Limped off the freeway to safety. Discovered MMSC, who was ready to roll first thing Monday morning when parts stores opened for business. They got the parts, got the job done, and got us back on the road by lunchtime. We called this place on Monday about a brake issue on our trailer. They mentioned brakes and RV Repairs on website. At first she said they were really booked, but then said they could check it out on Wednesday afternoon. She called around 12noon to confirm time window (2-4 pm). Around three she called and said they were running late, because there was a lamb loose and they needed to capture it. Then around 3 to day they were still coming. We confirmed the credit card and waited. At 4:19 she called and left a message that service person was not coming and referred us to a RV repair place in town. We had now lost 3 of the 6 days we had left here. I would Never recommend using this place. They have no respect for our time, as a retired customer service manager, I assure you this was neither customer centered or service centered. Do yourself a favor, Don't use them. read more

I was unable to get in to have an oil change. I called Mobile Mechanic Service and they were able to schedule a service call that fit my busy life. The fact that I could have it all done at my home, where I needed to be, was such a blessing. Good service and great prices. I will be suggesting this service to my friends and family. My Mitsubishi camper van had some alternator/battery issues and broke down on the side of the road on a Sunday, on the way to Umpqua Hot Springs. Tried jumping it, but couldn't even get indicator lights to turn on. I thought it was toast and was prepared to cancel the trip and have AAA tow us home, but AAA couldn't get there until the next day and it would have cost me $1000+ to get back to Portland. so I called a bunch of mobile mechanic places which were all closed except for Mobile Mechanic Service Co. They are open Sunday! Five stars right there! Service was friendly and responsive. Waited about an hour for Guy to arrive and when he did, was super nice and knowledgable, and figured out a way to rewire the battery so it would start. Took him less than an hour and enabled us to get to the hot springs for camping and then got home safe. Hopefully I never break down outside of Glide, OR again, but if I do I'll definitely call them. His wife answers the phone from home and I met his teen son who came with him on the last visit. My complaint Since the first visit by this Master Mechanic, I felt that I received the run around. Unfortunately, I gave Guy the benefit of the doubt when it came to my car. He quoted a 2 hour job @75 per hour. I paid 2 hours up front to the office (his wife). The car was stranded in Roseburg in front of a family members house.He was there less than 1 hour which was reported to me. It was the 2nd visit that he found out that I paid the 2 hour quote in advance stating he would only charge me 1 hour for the 2nd visit ( since he had to drive this time to my house in M.C. to repair what didn't get fixed the first go round. I had requested a specific service be performed on my vehicle and after 3 separate charges / (150.00+ 75.00+. 247.00 new Alternator).3 separate visits the initial request was never performed. i trusted that HE had, at the least corrected the problem my car was having, as he said he did....but he did not. I believe these or some of the problems would have been resolved if he had performed the initial request as stated in the very beginning. Something I was told, with our first conversation, was something he had performed many times on many cars. My car, to this day, is having the exact same problem it had when we started this journey over 2 months ago. Do you think I could get a return call?
