They don't get done nearly as often as they should, so they really needed some work, but she took care of them. Despite all that, Sunny handled him with patience and skill, and he came out looking fantastic: nails trimmed, full haircut, the works. When animal control finally got him off the streets earlier this year, it was hard to tell that there was even a dog hidden inside all that fur! I can only imagine how stressful the initial necessary shelter grooming session must have been for my poor little guy! Knowing all this when I adopted him, I was very committed to finding him the very best groomer for his new life going forward. After reading all these great reviews I decided to give Sunny Days a try and I was quickly scheduled with Desiree. His first session was wonderful. Desiree was right on time as expected, communication was impeccable, charges were fair and very competitive, payment was easy afterward, Desiree is super sweet, and Kenny Wayne looked like the rockstar that he is!!! Afterward I quickly got him on her schedule for groom #2 which took place yesterday and it went even better which I honestly didn't think was possible. Desiree really cares about building trusting relationships with her fur clients and it shows! I'm so happy with her service that I'm now hoping to get on her coveted recurring yearly schedule. She had a few mats that could've been worked through.. They even charged us $20 more for shaving her. I wouldn't have minded the extra charge if they would have worked on getting the knots out. She is only about 6 pounds and I paid $108 to have her completely shaved!! my husband went to pick her up. He said he was in shock. I would have never paid plus when she came home. She was very lethargic couldn't stand. She wasn't herself till the next day. We will NEVER use this place again.

She enjoys Khloe's gentle nature and we like how she cares for her. While I was there, I watched several large breeds being trimmed and was surprised how chill they were. Great training was done with these Dogs. Another came in Heavily matted and looked like another dog by the time we left. The Pet groomers here are friendly, show care for your pets which is why we schedule Marissa faithfully. Best care for your furry kids my Friends-SYOY!

Based on that, there was absolutely no reason for my dog to be shaved down this drastically. Not only did they take her extremely short, but they went even shorter than expected without calling to confirm or getting approval--which is completely unacceptable. My mom dropped off the dogs for me, and when I saw the result, I honestly felt horrible. This is not just a "short cut"--it's uneven, way too close to the skin, and not at all what was discussed. If a groomer believes they need to go significantly shorter than planned, the bare minimum is to call the owner and explain the situation before proceeding. I paid $100 for this haircut and feel like my dog was butchered. Grooming requires communication, care, and professionalism, and this experience lacked all three. My dog Kobe is a big boy at 171 lbs, and we've had issues at other places with getting him onto the grooming platform but not here. They handled him with total confidence and care, which immediately put both of us at ease. They truly made him feel safe and loved. He came home shiny, clean, and looking incredible. What really stood out was that the manager Catherine who has personal experience with Great Danes went the extra mile by offering helpful solutions for his dry skin which I really appreciated. This is quite normal behavior for huskies but not everyone enjoys their singing. Michelle treated my babies like they were her own. If you love your pet: NEVER bring them here...NEVER! We put our loved one in the care of another to have them have a better life and it goes 100% the other way. Save you and your pet that pain.
