This review is based solely on their rude attitude and terrible customer service. I emailed asking for an appointment for my dog after reading how great they are with dogs with anxiety, as my dog has. Their response: "sorry, we don't have availability." I asked back "at all? In the future?" Their response: "Nope." Look, maybe you're going through something or having an off day but that's totally unacceptable. With my regular mobile dog groomer down with an injury and my dog in need of a groom, I reached out via Yelp to a couple mobile dog groomers. A few of the responders no longer offered mobile grooming, one never has offered it, and then there was Mobile Pet Spa. The initial response was curt at best. It was literally "We're available on this date and time and it's $265". That was not a typo. $265 for a Cocker cut, bath, ears cleaning, and anal gland expression. I was surprised at the 76% increase in what I pay my mobile groomer, but I confirmed. The groomer arrived on time and did an ok job. Not as good as my regular groomer and for $265 (a premium) I expected better. If you're looking for a mobile groomer in the Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Orinda area - message me. I can direct you to a great groomer and a huge savings. Mobile Pet Spa was quick to respond and was able to make an appointment within days of my initial outreach. Kudos for that. read more

I had my cat receive his second "Spa Date" with Tanya this afternoon and she was on-time as before. She provides a wonderful service as it is door-to-door and no need for you to leave your home. She is a true professional as her Mobile Pet Spa van is completely sanitized, has AC units, and all the necessary equipment for dogs, and cats, to be thoroughly groomed and bathed. Once your furr baby's Spa time is complete, she sanitizes the mobile unit right there before seeing her next client. There are different options you can pick from for your furr baby to have, but I have had my cat get the "Full Bath Service." This includes shampooing, conditioning treatment, nail trim, ear cleaning, brushing, and blow dry, plus a scented condition spray. Although cats can be fickle, my little monster seems to enjoy getting pampered by Tanya as she is very considerate of the animal's needs, and comfort. Wow! Tanya is AMAZING! She groomed my Pomeranian that had matted dead fur all over her body. My dog came back smelling good, very clean and her knots were successfully detangled. I thought that was not even possible and that maybe she would have to be shaved. But Tanya is very skilled and good at grooming, she was also calm and gentle to my dog during the process (I was also there for a few minutes to make sure that she was not brushing my dog too hard). She also texted me to let me know that my dog screamed when she tried to shave just one mat on her rear - and her being honest means a lot to me! Our German shepherd received a bath, brush, and de-shedding treatment today from Mobile Pet Spa. Taiga was our groomer and provided excellent service and care of our dog while she was in the spa. He was very polite, friendly, and clearly comfortable around large dogs who give off the initial impression of being scary. He spent nearly 2 hours on her and she came out looking like a brand new dog, smelling super clean, and her nails no longer click on our floors. This service was super convenient and the owner was responsive, gracious and flexible when I had to reschedule my appointment twice. We'll absolutely be booking with Mobile Pet Spa for our next grooming, and we'll be requesting Taiga! read more
