The first day was absolutely beautiful outside, and our trip was still canceled because they said there weren't enough people booked. What made that even more frustrating is that this company had my money for a week in advance, so this was not a last-minute booking. We were asked to reschedule for the following day, so we agreed and rearranged our plans. Then on the second day, the excursion was canceled again, this time because of the weather. I completely understand that weather is out of anyone's control and safety comes first, but that is exactly why the first cancellation was so upsetting. We had a beautiful day and could have gone, but the trip was canceled because of low participation. Then when we came back the next day as requested, the weather prevented us from going at all. To make matters worse, before agreeing to come back the next day, we specifically asked about the weather. I even showed concern because my weather app was already calling for thunderstorms and rain. Natalia insisted it would only rain in the morning and reassured us that our excursion would still be ready to go out later that day. Based on that reassurance, we agreed to reschedule. Then the next day, exactly what I was concerned about happened the excursion was canceled because of the weather. That made the situation even more frustrating because had we been given realistic information instead of being reassured that the weather wouldn't affect our trip, we could have made a different decision with the little vacation time we had left. Instead, we lost the beautiful-weather day because they didn't have enough people, then lost the following day to weather we had already asked them about. The customer service also made the situation worse. Natalia was rude and dismissive when we were already disappointed after having our plans canceled. I dealt with Gavin the next day , and he was a little more helpful and professional than Natalia, which I appreciated, but by that point the damage was already done. And then there was the refund process. You would think that after they canceled the excursion, the refund would be automatic. It wasn't. I had to make multiple calls and go through a third-party company just to get my own money refunded. It took me over an hour to finally get the refund processed, and now I still have to wait 5-7 business days for the money to come back. So not only did I miss out on Crab Island, I had to spend part of my vacation chasing down a refund for a service the company canceled. I'm leaving Destin without getting to experience Crab Island at all, which was something I was genuinely looking forward to and a major part of this trip. Things happen, but when a company has your money in advance, cancels your reservation, and then makes you jump through hoops to get refunded, that is unacceptable. I would not book with this company again.

The whole experience was exactly what we needed--relaxing, fun, and just an all-around great vibe. Good drinks, great company, and an incredible sunset. After the sun went down, we cruised back to the dock, already talking about doing it again with another group. 5/5 experience--highly recommend! If you book, call and ask for Bailey. What a great trip. I would highly recommend if you want to truly relax rent a private boat with a captain like Brian.

I have rented Pontoons from numerous companies but hate to say this one was the worst so far. Let's start with not being able to park on site and having to cross 4 lanes of busy traffic twice. Not the safest practice. Second at the counter there are numerous signs saying dock workers get paid by tips and complimentary tip is 15 to 20%. I never mind tipping when warranted and if really good service I tip over 20%. Every other place I have rented a pontoon at has had staff come to the car and get our stuff and carry to the boat. They also ask if anyone needs help boarding the boat. The boat is clean and actually ready for guests. The individual here just states you're on boat 1 and never assisted or asked anyone anything. The seats in the boat had water pooled on them so had to wiped down prior to anyone sitting down. Luckily, we brought extra towels. We understand you get wet on a boat but for water to be everywhere when just getting on the boat is uncalled for and wasn't professional in any means. It was also comforting to know according to the dock worker that the Pontoon only had 1 battery even though it's supposed to have 2. Since the 2nd one worked other items on the boat it wasn't needed per him but hey here's a bluetooth speaker for you to use if you want music. This also had to be the slowest boat we have ever rented. Having owned my own boats before the Motor was so under powered for the size of the pontoon it was on. To top it all off upon our return the dock worker didn't assist anyone or getting stuff off the boat but did make sure to tells us he accepts Cash, Venmo and other payment options for tips. Really dude? Please promote your tips being warranted by actions. Hate giving a low rating but this experience definitely deserved it.

He radioed the boiled peanut boat to come to the boat and we notified him that the bride was very allergic to peanuts. Not only did he still order them but he ate them on the boat knowing that if she touched anything it would cause anaphylaxis. Knowing he wasn't considering his passengers life was quite a bit of a let down. I personally feel every persons life is important but apparently our captain Chris did not. Super bad experience having to be careful with our every move for something he didn't need just chose to do even though it could kill one of his passengers.

The downside was the seagulls, the crew member who sells soda and chips feeds them chips and they are EVERYWHERE. It was distracting and excessive how many birds swarmed the boat for the first half of the trip. My opinion of the best place to sit is the top floor, starboard side. It will be rocky up there but you can easily shift to the other side of the boats if needed. Also bring a jacket! At least in January. Sadly there are multiple signs that say the crew work for tips insinuating that they are otherwise unpaid. I truly hope that is not the case.
