I reserved a mobility scooterto use while on vacation to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary. I received my scooter later than requested. The scooter that they delivered had a bad battery, and it stopped working while I was on the boardwalk. I called back to the office, and the dispatch had the delivery man bring me a replacement. On the positive side, my scooter was witing for me when I got to Atlantic City., I had scooter #028 which served me well but I would like to pass along some concerns. The steering column was rather loose and I would hope would not become disabled in the future. The head lights didn't work as neither did the horns. Last week as I was traveling to Atlantic City, my power wheelchair that I use to get around broke down. Not knowing how I was going to get around on my summer vacation I googled wheelchair rentals in Atlantic City and Mobility On Wheels came up. I called them and all of their staff were extremely nice and helpful. They were able to drop off a rental power chair for me right in the bus lobby of the hotel. They took my wheelchair to their shop and they were very helpful and able to fix my chair the next day! In other places getting a power wheelchair fixed this quick never happens. Equipment is clean, reliable, reasonably priced, fully charged, and available at the designated time and place. This is a fabulous service. I called the concierge at Ceasars and they gave me this company's number. I rented for my father who uses a cane but not a scooter. This is the 3rd time I have taken my parents to Atlantic City, but the first time I rented the scooter. We will always get one. This company met us at valet when we checked in, explained the scooter operation to him and we left it at the valet when we checked out. I called 2 days before and changed our check in to a day earlier with no problems. Every contact I had with the company was positive and easy. Total thumbs up. read more

I recently brought my mother and grandmother to Atlantic City for a girls weekend, and required a motorized scooter for my mother since she had a broken ankle. I was given a business card by a family friend who recently visited Atlantic City, and said how much more enjoyable the scooter made her trip. I called Mobility On Wheels and was greeted by a lovely young woman who was more than helpful and gladly took our reservation. She even went as far to make sure that a device for my mother's crutches were safely attached to the scooter, free of charge, and had a representative bring the scooter right to the car door in valet upon our arrival at Harrah's Resort. The gentlemen was so professional and courteous with all of us, even taking the time to patiently show us how to use the scooter. He then held the door for us and wished us good luck! Now that is what I call customer service!
