Shaken by the sheer disrespect and an astronomical $469 installation quote from the rude clerk at the front desk. I had called Autobahn and spoke to Juan about having a Fitcamx Dash Cam. He was so professional and kind. He suggested I bring it into the store so he could have a look at it. I was impressed that he wanted to look over the Fitcamx. When I got to the shop,on Wed. May 13, 2026, a surly man walked downstairs and came over to wait on me at the front desk. I asked for Juan. He gruffly said, "He's in the back". In other words, "No, you're not seeing Juan." This guy was angry I guess because he had to wait on me when he should have been doing more important things. My husband thought maybe he was mad because he was just coming down from his boss' office and just got chewed out. It didn't make sense that he was so riled up. I went through the whole explanation about the Fitcamx. He didn't seem knowledgeable about dashcams. He started hitting his computer. I had researched and was told that installation would be from $150 to $300 at the highest. I had purchased a better SD card for the Fitcamx and I wanted that loaded in the Fitcamx when installed. This guy told me no that he would not install the enhanced SD card. He couldn't hide his revulsion for me and the Fitcamx.I really don't think he knew anything about the installation of a dash cam. He looks at the computer and says "$469". His whole attitude was, "We don't want this job so I'll just overchage these people for aggravating those of us at Autobahn. I simply said no and left. But I was shaking. I have never been so disrespected going in to a shop to bring them business. I went somewhere else and got the Fitcamx installed with the enhanced SD Card for $159! and the clerk was friendly and happy. A far cry from the service I received at Autobahn. You don't need to be so riled up, guy, you'll never see me again and I saved $310 over your illogical price. I hope the readers won't bother you or Autobahn in Northfield, New Jersey either. read more

If ... you are looking for those essential accessories for your automobile or speakers that will rock the neighborhood and make the expressway blacktop vibrate with every essential bass tone of your favorite recording artist ... FLOOR IT to the Autobahn where top service burns so much rubber that these guys have already lapped their competition clearing the checkered flag leaving the others wrapped in the smoke of their exhaust! This store deserves the not yet available YELP sixth star (I wonder if there is a secret review link that can edge a review over 5 starts because these guys deserve it!). I am not a car guy ... and I am not a car seat heater guy, in fact I would much rather be in a car blasting refreshing coolness from my air conditioner rather than adding any heat to the driving compartment. However, my life and Autobahn coincided because of SEAT HEATERS (I would think one's personal body heat is enough to warm up any car and I do remember some steamy nights in an old Chevy .... that's a story left to my next pulp novel.). When you randomly dial a business these days you almost expect to be put on hold, hear a recording that doesn't make sense as it lists options that you don't want, or you get that "yea, what do you want" welcome. The first winning point was the warm and friendly greeting offered each time I called these guys (I was shopping around so I called more than one heat seat installer and these guys were the only ones who were interested in me and my business.) and yes I called a couple of times but the caring phone service never changed. SUPERB!!! They were patient ... remember, I am not a car guy so my questions were basic and I am also "thrifty" ... "frugal" .. and yes some say "cheap" so price mattered. After a couple of telephone calls it was clear this was the place and on the day of my appointment I arrived early ... before the store opened but the manager let me in. We talked about service ... I told him about the phone calls ... he said, "we want everyone to feel like they are family." He smiled and continued to get the business ready for the new day. Each employee who walked through the door smiled and greeted me like I was a long lost friend ... like family. Even the store's dog came wagging his tail seeking a hug and some morning pets from this stranger in the shop. Before leaving the car for the seat heater installation I had more questions about other things they sold. Each question was answered and then I asked a few more questions about the seat heater's quality. The young man smiled and said he had the very same heater in his car and it was great! Picking up the car the seat heater had been installed with a factory like look. You would never imagine that the control switches and the seat heaters (totally invisible) didn't come with the car. And, those who are driving the car love the seat heaters saying it was one of the best investments ever! But the truth is ... as we travel the highway of consumer shopping experiences ... we all deserve a quality pit stop when we need something. The folks at the autobahn truly care about their customers and the quality of their work. Now, I wonder ... what will my neighbors think if I install one of those rockin stereo systems ... I have already lost a lot of my hearing so ... I could feel the music as I drive ... if I make the decision to go loud I know where I will be heading ... this awesome incredible customer appreciating little business in the Tilton Plaza! Purchased Remote Starters (Compustart) for my daughter's car and my car through Groupon. I called to make appointments and in addition to the Groupon price - another $165 each for installatIon. It does state in the Groupon that additional charges depending on car may incur. I was a little taken back by the price but after dealing with these gentlemen, professional, very nice and waited about 2 hours (already aware) since we live 45 minutes from home, it was definitely worth it! Would not recommend this business at all I had every single bit of my stereo system replaced head unit speakers throughout the entire car subwoofer box and 2 Amp's I wound up paying $1400 I drop the car off the day of the installation I didn't have a choice of where anything went in my car not the base knob not the amps and none of the cross overs for the component speakers but whatever that's not even the problem my speakers have a winding noise from my alternator because somethings not hooked up right I think it's actually causing my speakers to fail that I spent $5000 on. my head unit shuts off once in a while they tried calling me up and charging me more for stuff we already agreed on but the biggest kicker is I accidentally left one of my credit cards in in the car on accident and somebody there used my card for 50 bucks when I went back to pick up my car there was a lady getting her remote start installed they completely trashed the computer in that car they had to send it to the dealership to get it fixed I can keep going about about this company but I strongly do not recommend this audio shop read more

Had paid a good $1200 year ago to have speakers, amp, and subwoofer installed in Jeep. The owner tried to push that my Jeep could use upgrade on stereo which did not need it. Two months later the amp and subwoofer not working. I replaced battery, TIPM, and alternator on my Jeep thinking this was issue. Took it back to autobahn thinking they would help. They tell me the amp was bad and they offered to sell me replacements at $400 or $600. Added that other amp was not under warranty. I passed on the amps and they decide to charge me $115 for diagnostic check on equipment they installed. Poor customer service, only out to take people's money for shady equipment. A friend suggest I contact maker of amp. I contacted (Kicker) and they were more than glad to help since it's been less than two years since I purchased it. They sent me a replacement after sending them bad one. Now why didn't owner of Autobahn suggest that. Hmmm. Because he doesn't make money that way. Autobahn is way overpriced for shady workmanship. read more

I would like to show everyone what kinda quality work autobahn did to my car and charge me 700$ to tint all windows and wrap my roof after picking my car I noticed crease on tint I contacted owner raza after giving me hard time and excuses he took car back to fix it but it looked worst then before I was so mad just left ! few months later I notice bad cuts around brake light wrap coming off next to sunroof more scratches on tint and most important slice cut on roof wrap!!!! I have enough and brought my car to him again he have excuses for everything told me I'm picky and complain a lot but he will try fix it even though he dont want so I left my car again next day when I picked up my car he didint do nothing to it blame me for everything told me i did cut roof wrap! told me is impossible to cut perfectly around brake light so he can't do it! Cant fix tint because car was tinted before that's not true I bough it new with out tint !!!!on the end he told me to get a f...out his store !!!!this place is in business for long time and that's how they treat customers ripping people off read more

This place takes your money, than when there's a problem that is there fault they don't want to fix the problem 1100.00 later and I have broken DVD headrest. I highly recommend everyone to go elsewhere or at least make them guarantee there work which they do but still don't want to fix the problem. I came to Autobahn to have them re-wire an old sub and amp I had in the back of my shed from the battery running to the trunk powering the amp. Customer service was excellent and very friendly.
