June 17: I had an appointment at 3pm. Never received any calls or followup. He tried to reschedule for tomorrow morning. I said no because it shouldnt take 3-4 days to fix my phone. Asked for a quote to replace the back glass of my iPhone XS Max. My phone still worked perfectly, just so cracked in the back that I was worried of getting water damage, I couldn't even take off my phone case without getting a piece of glass on my hands. Anyway!...He said he'd show up to my location and fix it for $120. Okay sure, why not. He arrived 20 mins late. Didn't tell me he would be, but it's LA, so it's okay. My phone looked brand new in less than 15 mins. He told me to make sure the phone was good; well I only unlocked the phone, open a few apps and my messages to make sure no screen damage happened, pressed the home (or sleep/wake button), paid him, and went on about my day. IF YOU GET SERVICE DONE BY HIM...MAKE SURE YOU CHECK EVERYTHING ON YOUR PHONE BEFORE HE LEAVES!!!!! It didn't dawn on me to check the buttons on the left side of my phone...so now I have a phone w volume buttons and silent mode button that don't work. I have to go to my settings whenever I need it changed. I didn't know I could do that so imagine me at work sitting at my desk w my phone notifications on loud the first couple days in an office before I figured out how to work around this! I texted him my issue, got no response. Sent it again, got a response saying he'd fix it. Well...had to send it numerous times and still never got a response back, when I did get a response it was after the timeframe he knew I wouldn't be available. After realizing he doesn't wanna fix his mistake...I figured I'd just take my loss. By then why would I want him to ever touch my phone knowing he didn't want to fix it in the first place? To mess it up some more? No thanks! Did I mention besides all that he replaced my iPhone battery w a generic one?? So now my phone has permanent notification telling me that. Didn't see that notification when he first handed me my phone back...he must have cleared it before handing it to me. NO MATTER WHAT do NOT use this service. he came out saturday to fix a broken screen and blew a fuse or something and completely destroyed my phone. i told him he had to come back and fix it, he said maybe monday. then i started having a gallbladder attack sunday night/monday morning and told him i need someone to come out NOW to fix this or i was about to be in the ER in the middle of a pandemic with no way to contact my family. Read til the end... When I first got my phone fixed, thought his service was great. Less than a week later, my phone developed long blue lines across the screen, making it hard to see. SCAMMER!! I hired them to come out and fix my phone and I wish I never had. Amele quoted me $135 for a new screen, and upon showing up to my business he looked at my phone and said it would be $250. He was already 30 minutes late to our appointment, came in my business not wearing a mask (I have a mask required sign on my window) and overall made me feel VERY uncomfortable. So much so, that I foolishly agreed to pay the $250 just so he would leave. He put the new screen on and handed me back the phone. Immediately I noticed something wasn't right... my screen was giving me double vision and the lighting was off. He said "you'll get used to it. It's not an Apple screen, that's why it like that" UMMM why would you charge me $250 and not put an Apple screen on my iPhone?!? I let me know that I don't want to get used to it and he needs to replace it with an Apple screen. He rolled his eyes and said he would be back in 90 minutes to fix it. It was 8:30pm and I let him know I would wait. He text me at 10pm to say he can't come back. My iPhone freezes every 5 minutes. The lighting dims on its own and sometimes my phone won't text. If I could give less than a 1- star I would definitely. Originally came to fix iPhone X screen. HUGE NO!! They do not disclose whether screen is even a LCD or OLED. Keep in mind cheap prices for cheap parts. As soon as iPhone X screen was replaced. IMMEDIATE problems with ghost touching. States that there is unlimited warranty.... however huge scam alert. Tried to reschedule appointment to fix the problem. However rude and poor customer service, with no response. Extremely rude as well been blown off and additionally hung up on. The screen on my iPhone 7 stopped working, I couldn't figure out why I tried going online and figuring out how to reset it and I did everything that they suggested I try. My phone was still working I could hear it ring and I could hear the notifications going off so I knew it had to be something with the screen. I called sprint and they said it sounded like it was a "dead screen " they told me to bring it in so they could evaluate it which I did, they tried to fix it basically doing everything I had done myself already lol then they said yep, it's a dead screen the screen will cost you $200 plus $50-$100 dollars for labor which seemed crazy to me because it's not even a new phone and it was cheaper just to buy a new phone of the same model.
