So I didn't come here for a phone repair. I spilled a drink on my friends Polaroid camera a couple days ago which ruined the viewfinder and I felt really bad about it. I came over to my friends place to try and fix it but he didn't have a small enough Phillips screwdriver to take it apart. I figured a phone repair shop would have one so we headed here. Sean and Frank were working there that night. While helping out a couple customers, Sean managed to hook us up with a small enough screwdriver when he had a moment. He was eager to help us out and we were able to take the camera apart. We took the viewfinder apart to clean it and when the other guests left, Sean put his focus on our Polaroid even though it wasn't his job! He continued to offer his service and let us borrow his duster, alcohol cleaning solution, microfiber cloths, and even his soldering iron to rewire an electronic part of the camera we messed up during the process. The store was closed at this time but he kept helping. We got it halfway fixed but told Sean we'd take care of the rest, he gave us a small screwdriver so we could tighten the screws back once we finished fixing it. So basically the guy at this store (forgot his name) says the problem was either the battery ($35 from him) or the charging port of the phone needed fixing ($65 from him) Homie took my battery and tested it for free and it was working. They were able to replace a screen on an old HTC EVO 4G from 2010 which is a 10 year old phone. Went fishing and got water on my Galaxy S8, the next day my phone was not turning on and was just vibrating, worst part was that I was leaving to Oklahoma that same day.
