We hired Mobofoto Booths for a launch event. The good: -Their attendant was really nice and tried to be useful and get our brand out. Thumbs up. The bad: -We asked them to put our logo on the pictures for an additional $150 -- they didn't. -They delivered the photos over a week later, which in event time is an eternity. You use these for marketing materials and at that point it's almost useless. -They didn't deliver the photos in any sort of form that made sense to upload or share. The photo strips were doubled up (what?), so no one would share those. The other photos had no branding so the people could have been anywhere which defeats the purpose of a photo booth with branding. -We asked for a partial refund for their slowness and they refused citing that they were "prompt" in their responses. We called them two days after the event for our photos, which they ignored. We emailed them several times. One time they responded and said, "we'll get them to you soon" which was 3-days later. They were so slow and their format was so weird, that it was 100% not worth our money. I would never use them again. read more

Mobofoto is amazing! I highly recommend them for any event, no matter how big or small. Great communication, friendly, accommodating, professional and smooth and safe transaction when paying. I was planning my 30th birthday and I was looking around for different services and I came across Mobofoto. I contacted the company and expressed what I was looking for and Founder-Joseph Sterling contacted me right away. He even met with me and we went over everything, provided suggestions and took the time to go over all the services that they offer and he even looked into other services that I wanted. Months leading up to the party he was in contact with me via email. Any questions I had, he responded right away. I hired them for a DJ/MC, photobooth, Door Greeter, Bartender, table and chair linens, slidehow protector, and a fog machine for my entrance. My birthday event was around 200 people and they did a wonderful job setting up and preparing. The day of the party, they arrived on time and began setting up. They were all friendly and great to not only work with, but enjoyable to party with as well. I would definitely hire Mobofoto again and I have been recommending them to all my friends and family. We used Mobofoto for the 75th Anniversary Open House for Millbrae Nursery School on Saturday, October 5th. What a success and it was so much fun!!! Jacob was there and he was so professional with his information and service. The photo booth was a really fun part of the celebration! It was a HUGE hit!! There is a great scrapbook with fun photos and signatures from those who attended the celebration for the school to keep. There was a lot of planning and research that went into this events details. We had a great experience with Jacob and Sterling. They kept it professional, at the same time they were enthusiastic and energetic. The props they brought were awesome (including the mustaches!! Thanks guys!) They went out of their way to get my daughters favorite color for the backdrop. They were so friendly and happy...everyone felt really comfortable with them. We even got my 90+ year old grandparents into the booth! On the business end....when we were corresponding prior to the day of the party, they answered all of my questions and emails promply via multiple emails and texts. They arrived to the party early and were set up quickly. At the end of the party, they cleaned up after themselves in a timely fashion...leaving no trace of themselves behind for me to clean. At the party, they actually have a scrapbook area set up so your guests can personalize their pictures that get put into the scrapbook. Great idea! We used Mobofoto for my daughters first birthday party (80 people) at our house. The planning process was great, Sterling and Jacob were who we dealt with and they were quick to respond and answer any questions we had. When it came time for the party, things were much different. They sent out a girl that didn't bother to introduce herself even though we were told Jacob would be there. She seemed very frazzled the entire time and wasn't the most friendly with our guests. We added the scrapbook onto our package and the quality of what was done was pretty low considering the price. Luckily our guests were happy (hence the 3 stars) but for us, for what we paid we were expecting a bit more in quality and a lot more in service. read more

All I wanted to do was take pictures, but button to start it wouldn't work & the man who ran the photobooth wasn't there to fix it b/c he went to Taco Bell. First of all if there was an option for 10 star I would go with it!!! I was really happy with the service. Over the phone Joseph was really patient and explain everything very clearly... Jacob was there and was very nice and kind to all in the event itself. We celebrate wedding to my brother and it was definitely one of the highlight of the evening! They showed up right on time and even stay 30 minutes after because of the action that goes around the booth. Hired Mobofoto as a last resort this past weekend and boy where do I start with Mobofoto? Let's start with the set up... If you are a professional photobooth provider you should not show up with a pop up tent and digital camera connected to a printer, extremely low budget and unappealing. Moving on to the prop selection: I am sure Mobofoto picked these up at a 99cent store a couple years ago and forgot the sanitizer, also extremely low budget. Their customer service, or lack thereof, was below desirable... If you're in the entertainment business a chair should not have more personality than your employees. Now for the issue that upset me the most: they refused to print an extra copy of the photos when requested by my guest (when multiple people were in the photo and wanted a copy). I am the PAYING customer and if I ask you to print a duplicate, you print the duplicate no questions asked. I have hired multiple photobooth providers and have never been denied additional copies of my photos. So overall I suggest you just go to Costco and pick up a pop up tent and some props at a party supply store and use your iPhone and a wireless printer. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau (let the investigation begin... I hope MoboFoto has a business license). Hire at your own risk, you've been warned! read more

I found Mobofoto through Thumbtack, and I am so glad that I did. Mobofoto provided a photobooth and a DJ for our wedding last weekend. The photobooth was a HUGE HIT!!! Everyone took a ton of pictures in there (even my older more reserved relatives.) We had an enclosed booth and the camera took great high quality HD photos and the onscreen instructions were really easy to follow (even for the non-tech savvy individuals like myself.) I loved the variety of props that they provided and the take home scrapbook is something I will cherish for many years. The DJ also did a fabulous job, especially considering that I didn't provide him with a playlist. He was professional (not cheesy like 99% of the wedding DJs out there.) The songs that he played kept everyone on the dance floor and were songs that all age groups could enjoy. He made all the necessary announcements that I requested without any prompts or reminders. The booking process was really simple and Sterling was always super prompt with his email correspondence. I would recommend these guys to anyone, and their prices CANNOT be beat... trust me I called almost every photobooth company and DJ in the tri-valley and they were by far the most reasonable. They even allowed me to book a service time period of 2.5 hours, versus the 4 hour minimum required by many other companies. read more
