They mentioned to replace the two panels it would cost $750. I agree to this and after scheduling the install they replaced them. Well to my surprised I had two discolored panels. I called them to clarify this and they said it was standard to have them white. I can understand how this is standard for the builder but as an individual consumer I had no idea they needed to be painted. As it is, I already thought it was quite expensive. They said that in 20 years this has never been an issue. I am blown away that their lack of communication about a simple aspect was not mentioned nor did they attempt to correct this. I will add, the garage door opener motor that was installed by them was quite loud. They were charging me $250 for a (New) replacement installation. Lowe's was only charging me $139. Due to their lack of transparency on their job, I will NOT recommend them.

I like the fact Stevan himself came to my family's home and did a good job estimating the project at no coast. We worked together and met as a price. He drew up the contract, I signed it and gave him half of the money up front. The project date was set and I felt optimistic hiring them to do the work. The morning the work was to begin, I waited for Steven's crews. At 9:00 AM an eighteen wheel pulls up to my house and unloads the material in my yard. This was on a Thursday. At 10:30AM, Stevan's crews had not arrived. I called the project Forman and he was very apologetic saying they had cancel the project for Thursday the day before due to the possibility of bad weather. He apologized due to not contacting me regarding them canceling. I was furious. I had canceled work for that day to be there for the roof replacement. I called Stevan and requested we cancel the contract. At this point I didn't feel optimistic about this contractor. I let Stevan talk me into moving forward on the contract and we set a date for the following Monday with the promise that he would personally supervise the project. I told him I was flying to New York and I wouldn't be there on Monday. He assured me he would take pictures and I would be happy with their work. Monday---the day of the project. The workers showed up and went to work. The Forman called me and I tried talking to him but there was a huge language barrier. Stevan sent pictures to my wife and she forwarded them to me. They did a good job but not a professional job. Their quality control is terrible. I hired them to replace the roof, some decking, a lot of the facia boards, drip edge, a section of soffit, and two new boots and turbine, as well as flashing where needed. They finished the job in one day. The roof is now new. They replaced the turbine-new. They did not install the two new boots. The flashing they installed looks terrible and there's areas that need flashing that got over looked. The facia boards will have to be replaced do to poor installation and poor quality control. There's areas of the drip edge that will need adjusting due to being flared upward. This project consist of a hip roof and two sections of flat roof. The flat roof was to get a commercial grade rolled roof. The hip roof was to get shingles. My wife and I spoke with Stevan regarding the color-match of the two. Stevan assures is the colors would match. Well, they don't. Not even close. I am still in New York and have yet to see the roof in person. I spoke with Stevan regarding the above issues and he became offensive saying he felt as if I were "attacking him", and he mentioned they had done extra work and didn't request payment for the extras. Completely unprofessional. I explained to him that I have a right to expect a job well done, and making excuses is not professional. I also reminded him the terms of the contract in respect to additional work: he would contact me and we would come to an agreement. Stevan has assured me that he will have someone at my house next Monday to fix the above problems. He did however say the electrical riser will not get the promised (in the contract) boot due to his worker not feeling safe with the installation, despite the pre-contract talk with Stevan assuring me there would not be any problem with the installation. He even went as far as to explain how the install it. Again, I will do a second part to this review after the corrections have been made. I may do an additional review after seeing the job in person. Hopefully it'll be a better review.

Recently installed TEK metal shingles (shakes) on 32-year-old home in Killeen, TX…read more Short version: Company and crew is professional, knowledgeable, respectful and has reasonable pricing. I rate them 5 stars, AAAAA, Top Shelf, etc., etc. Detail version: Recent hail in Killeen pretty much ended 6-year-old existing asphalt shingle roof. We are experienced with asphalt shingle; this was third roof damaged in 32 years from hail. Wanted metal roof because we're tired of roof repairs. Contacted 11 roofers in Killeen, Temple area, all were very busy due to tornado damage (same storm). We really didn't like the standing seam versions offered, but we were almost settled on it though, when we discovered metal shakes. No one locally was able to provide except at tremendously high prices. We made a call to Alliance after we saw their TEK Hurricane Shakes online. We expected an insane price and a gentle blow off, as we were on the far edge of their territory. Happily, Chris Anderson threw us the lifeline we hoped for. Very enthusiastic, very affordable price (higher than asphalt, of course, but competitive with flat metal roof offers). He drove down with full size samples in different colors, carried up on the roof to show different colors in sunlight and shadow, answered every technical question from me, and every aesthetic question from wife with the greatest respect. We had dealt with other roofers who tried to upsell us on other products, a couple had even tried very hard to tell us what we really wanted. Not Chris. He listened. He answered. No pressure. We shook hands and signed the contract, got on the schedule. Three weeks later, a tear-off crew arrived and pulled off all the asphalt and felt down to the bare decking. When finished, they cleaned it all up spotlessly. Good guys, stopped to entertain dumb questions from me and the wife and were very respectful. Chris was on site to inspect and be present for us. Great support. Next day the installers arrived and got right to work. As with the previous crew, these were smiling, happy men who took great care of us and treated us with the greatest respect. Very class act. As before, Chris and his assistant Levi (another great guy), were on site, taking care of the crew (it was 150 degrees on top of the roof), keeping safety first, answering every question and concern with kindness and respect, making sure everything was perfect as can be. At the end, Chris and me and wife did a thorough walk-around, she had questions, he had answers, and we were pretty much blown away by the final appearance and the evident quality of the work. We had to replace the gutters due to hail damage and age. Chris suggested that we contract a local company. We asked if he would manage that for us, he agreed, and some very fine-looking gutters are being installed as this is written. Once again, a fine crew and great responsiveness and respect for the customers. Summary: Outstanding presentation, planning and execution, superb work crews and supervisors (shout out to Mario!), great follow up, great support, great response, great price. In the end, the materials are important, true. But great materials, great crews, great warranty make for an awesome final product. Thanks, Chris, Levi, Mario and all the guys.

They nearly exclusively handled the insurance portion which really simplified things for me, and were able to work with the adjuster to secure additional claims for a more complete repair/installation. Their communication and follow up was spot on as well. All in all, they made me feel very comfortable and confident throughout the entire process that my house and money we're in great hands. They're very confident in the product that they install and stand behind the quality. Everyone I worked with at Alliance MR has been great, particularly Logan and Chris, whom I even entrusted with a few design choices (I wasn't disappointed). It's taken for granted that a roofer should know how to roof, but all too many of them skimp on the details which can have varied effects. In every step of the process, Alliance Metal Roofing instilled confidence that they were the right people for the job. A common oversight in roofing are the subtle nuances of flashing or ventilation. They were able to remediate the ventilation issues that were causing heat damage to my old roof by adding vents that work in compliment with my existing vent system. Often enough, roofers will slap any old vent up there, but to ensure proper air flow, certain vent types should not be mixed. This is just one of many examples of their expertise, professionalism and attention to detail. Through the entire process they took great care to understand my concerns as well as my requests and all of that is evident in the final product. Bottom line: I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. If we get one of those crushing hail storms again, they'll be the first call I make.

Imagine the worst possible situation ever! During Hurrican…read moreBeryl a tree fell on our home, causing structural, roof, and interior water damage. We contracted with Evoke Roofing (Seth Wehunt & Kyle Frame) and it took a month for work to begin. The absolutely worst mistake in my life. Fence: failed to complete fencing, still needs to be stained the fence, broke tile on back porch, used wrong size rot board when tying into fence. They even took a 5-gallon bucket and dumped screws on the porch and ground, from when I took down and disposed of the old fence. Roof: did not replace broke rafters, did not fix structural damages, did not replaced 320 square feet of decking. The decking that they replaced had gaps outside of code. The failed to replace 2 power vents, only replacing on vent with a standard attic vent. Also, during the roof repair, the fascia and soffit repairs were done poorly and the structural damage is visible. Kyle Frame also removed gutters that were not damaged from storm without my consent to claim a "Supplement" from insurance, damaging fascia which have yet to be repaired and gutters replaced. When I asked Kyle Frame about painting the fascia and soffits, he told me that gutters would cover them up. After complaining to the ownership to Evoke Roofing and General Contracting, LLC, Owen Larson refused to provide documentation to the work completed, the amount of material used, materials left over from the work. Mike Larson, the other owner, came out and viewed the work competed, and during the walk through I showed him the debris buried in dirt left, shingles left in yard other trash, along with the broken tile on the porch. While showing him the trash left and poor work done, he even stepped on a roofing nail that went through his Hey Dudes. I even showed Mike Larson the damages inside the home and the poor work texture and drywall repairs. Mike Larson viewed the painting, victrola, floors, and furniture. While meeting with Mike Larson, I told Mike Larson that I was a disable veteran with spinal cord damage and was unable to inspect the work completed on the roof or in the attic. I also suffer for service-related respiratory issues that the dust from the drywall work with was performed, they did not use air handlers and left dust throughout the house, causing increased breathing problems. After meeting with Mike Larson, he agreed to have an independent inspector or engineer to review work completed on roof. However, after Mike Larson returned from vacation in Mexico for a week, he came to the house with a J.F. "Pete" Spicer with United Aligned Consultancy. After checking the Texas Professional Engineers database, it was discovered that "Pete" or James F. "Pete" Spicer was not licensed in Texas as an engineer, nor was United Aligned Consultancy. It was also discovered after checking Texas SOS and Texas CPA, that United Aligned Consultancy was owned by John Berry Wehunt, the father of Seth Wehunt. This is definitely not an independent inspection, as a matter of fact with John Berry Wehunt, a license engineer, this is a violation of law. Wait gets better, after my wife voiced frustrating, Mike Larson threatened to "part ways," I guess this means the $34,995.00 paid to Evoke Roofing and General Contracting would be lost. He also added that he would respond when he stopped........still waiting for the response. Because the threat Mike Larson made to my wife abscond with money paid to them to complete repairs, lies told by Kyle Frame, the scam "third party inspection," and the over theft, fraud, insurance fraud, I sent a 10-day demand letter requesting that all repairs be completed by a third-party BBB rated business paid by Evoke Roofing. I also submitted a complaint to the BBB and complaint to Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors for the conflict of interest. Take this review, how you may......but it is the truth, I tried to help remedy the problems, but just got scammed yet again by Kyle Frame, Seth Wehunt, Mike Larson, and Owen Larson, as well as, John Wehunt, PE and James "Pete" Spicer, PG.
