Connie, who also happens to be the seamstress, was my consultant that day. She asked to see my inspiration photos and proceeded to pull dresses she thought might suit me from the racks. The overall vibe of the store, dress selections and fantastic customer service were quite impressive. It also smells HEAVENLY inside. It's obvious that they pride themselves on keeping it immaculate. Yesterday, I said yes to a dress I tried on at my first appointment. The owner John was so accommodating and squeezed me in with just one day's notice when I requested to come in and re-try my favorite dress. When I arrived, he greeted me with a big smile. Both John and Connie are the sweetest and most patient individuals I've ever met. I highly recommend Ashley's to any brides, bridesmaids, moms and even men! They have an awesome selection of suits and tuxedos, too.

I had a disappointing experience with Margarita's Dress Studio…read more I originally came in for dress alterations and ended up purchasing a yellow dress for $150. Based on our conversations, I believed I was buying a unique piece from the studio. Later, I discovered what appeared to be the exact same dress being sold on Shein for around $40. Since I had purchased the dress for a high-profile dinner and believed it was a unique design, I felt misled and very disappointed. I contacted Margarita to discuss the situation. During a phone conversation, she acknowledged my concerns and suggested she could offer a significant discount on a future project, as we had discussed having a custom blazer made. However, when I later arrived with fabric for the blazer and again raised the issue of the dress, she told me there was no return policy and did not honor the discount that had been discussed. What made the experience even more frustrating was the way I was treated in the studio. While we were in the middle of discussing my concerns, another customer arrived and Margarita immediately shifted her attention to them. After waiting, we resumed our conversation, only for the same thing to happen again when another customer entered. I felt that my time and concerns were not being respected. The combination of feeling misled about the dress and the lack of professional customer service left me with a very negative impression. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this business based on my experience.

Madison was very nice and worked with me to find the perfect dress. She defiantly had a nice personal touch, even saying that she would come with me to make sure that the dress was altered perfectly. She said that the dress would come in the first week of June (a little over a month before the wedding). It would be little close, but not bad, keeping in mind that the dress would also need to be tailored. We also ordered to flower girl dresses from them because, they complemented my dress so well. A few months go by and the flower girls dresses were supposed to be delivered. Both myself and my sister-in-law (mother of my flower girls) called as well as stopped by to see when the dresses would be in. Every time, the date we were told, would always be moved back. This didn't make me feel good about my dress, because we were cutting it close to begin with. In the end the dresses came in about three weeks late. Of course, the first week of June came and went. Calls were made and estimates of shipping dates were given, but it kept being moved back, again. It wasn't until seventeen days before the wedding, when I called, that I was told that my dress had been in for days. Madison's assistant told me that my sister-in-law must have missed the message she left. That is impossible, she was more excited about the dress than I was, but I did double check with her (no phone call or message was ever left). I made an appointment, fifteen days left, to see how the dress fit. The personal touch from Madison, that I got when I first tried on my dress, was gone. Madison popped in long enough to see how the dress looked. I made an appointment, with her assistant, to go to the tailor. I would meet her at the store ten minutes ahead of time. She would not only drive me there, but she would also carry the dress for me. I came back, ten days before the wedding, expecting Madison's assistant to be ready to take me to the appointment. I saw her in the other room busy with a bride (I already knew what was coming). Madison told me that her assistant couldn't take me and that she was in the middle of doing inventor. She wrote down the directions, wished me good luck, and told me to send her pictures of the dress. I was shocked, but headed to LT Alterations. My sister-in-law was already there getting the flower girl dresses altered (later she said I looked confused and sad when I walked in). We got the dresses figured out, apparently Madison didn't tell her how close the wedding was, but she said she could get it done. Two day before the wedding, I got my dress. The alter was great, but the bustle seemed I little confusing....ok...really confusing. Thirteen white ties made of sheer fabric that she couldn't find during her bustle tying lesson. On the day of the wedding I had three, very patient and loving friends, up my dress for a half hour trying to figure out the bustle. They couldn't find all the little ties or maybe some of them fell off (the tailor said they were delicate). It took the event coordinator, with a handful of pins, to finally get me bustled. I loved my dress, but the games they played with me I could never recommend this business to an blushing bride-to-be.

And they are WELL DESERVED! I am not into wedding gowns... at all. And I put off the dress buying as long as I possibly could. My other bridal shoppe experiences don't hold a candle to how comfortable and welcomed I felt on both of my visits to Yes to the Dress. So wonderful, in fact, that I swore I was going to buy a dress through them because I believe they DESERVE the business. It's posh, modern, clean. The staff is knowledgeable, articulate and caring. They could have made me feel amazing in almost any dress. Unbelievably, I ended up closing the deal on a 100% custom designed, one-of-a-kind gown after attending the Leanne Marshall trunk show & the savings were significant. It was a win for the shoppe, a win for Leanne, and a major win for me. The excitement level was through the shop roof!! I lost count of the hugs being thrown around. My mom is going back for her gown, my friend's mom is going to visit for hers. For better or worse, I too read a lot of boutique reviews when I was on my search. At some point you just have to put down the Yelp and get out there. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment at this shoppe. What do you have to lose?

As a dad, the excitement to see another daughter find the perfect dress was paramount in our search. The first day of looing took us to two bridal shops. The first, was very nice, with extravagant gowns (and extravagant prices as I am paying for the dress). However, despite the variety of styles, none of the gowns made my daughter, a nurse, feel like the bride she dreamed of being nor the I one I imagined her getting married in. So, while there was one 'maybe' dress we left for our second appointment. As I was leaving the first shop, I was literally cornered by the owner as to why my daughter was not buying the one she "liked". I was a bit taken aback, and answered that it was because she did not "love" it. Feeling kind of annoyed, we headed to Darianna's where we were met with kind hello's and seated in a large room as Wendy began choosing dresses for my daughter to try on. She even let me add my pick to the selection and that made me happy. My daughter then began to try on each dress and on the last one she burst into tears, as did the rest of us, as she said those famous words "this is my dress". It is stunning and. I might add, it was the one I PICKED. So now with the gown, the crystal beaded veil and tiara, I was awestruck at how beautiful my little girl (25 yo) looked and how happy she was. Wendy then provided champagne to celebrate and broke the news of the total price, which was well within my budget. I can not say enough of how kind and patient Wendy and the entire staff were to my family. Wendy took her time and most of all did not try to force me to purchase the gown immediately. Although I placed a deposit, I was never under any pressure to do so. That fact, to me, is important, because I believe that to pressure a bride or her family into a dress she may not want can only add frustration to what is supposed to be one of the happiest days, thus far, of her life. Lastly, I was so impressed with Wendy I called the next day to thank her for such a pleasant experience. I am extremely detailed oriented, as is my daughter, and this Bridal Shop hit the mark on every level of product to service. Thank you to everyone at Darianna's for such a wonderful experience.

After going to 3 other salons and trying on ~30 dresses, I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted…read more When we walked in, I immediately saw multiple dresses on the racks that fit my vision. I was looking for a sweet, romantic A-line dress. Our consultant, Jennifer, was very nice and knowledgeable. My sister, mom, and I were able to look at the dresses on the rack and pick out which ones I wanted to try on. The store was so clean, bright, and well organized. The dressing rooms were very spacious, as well. After I put on each dress, Jennifer would ask me how I felt in the dress before going out to show my family. She really made the appointment about me and I am so appreciative of that. I fell in love with the second dress I tried on. I was so happy and confident in the dress and finally felt like I had found what I was looking for! They had a fresh bouquet delivered during my appointment which was the perfect addition to the dress trying on experience. Jennifer let me twirl around the store in the dress and helped me picture different moments during my wedding. I had pretty much already said "yes" in my head, but then out of nowhere, my first dance song came on over the speakers. Of course I bursted into tears and couldn't believe how perfectly it all played out. I am so happy to have said yes to the dress at Philly Bridal Studio! I can't wait to wear the dress in May!
