The lady at the front desk ( I believe she is the owner) accommodated my request for a specific massage table. Just one minor suggestion to make the place perfect, I could hear conversations outside the massage room from other employees. The facilities are ok. The floor on our room was damp, the bed had fuzzy on it, that my therapist had to keep picking off of me during the massage. My sister and I had a Groupon and we were in the same room, that was fine. The massage itself was not good. My therapist would massage me, then just stop. I am not sure if she was looking at her phone or what?? My sisters therapist also did the same thing. There was no aroma therapy and the oil they used smelled like veggie oil!!! Not good. I've had several massages and usually go to boutique spas (e.g. Woodland Day Spa), but wanted to give something new a try. MoCee did not disappoint! The service was amazing and they really tailored the massage to my needs. Scheduling and payment were a breeze online - I was able to get an appointment the very next day. The body scrub, reflexology, and Swedish massage package was perfect. The pressure was great & the therapist checked in on me throughout the treatment to make sure everything was to my liking. The price for an hour-and-a-half massage was unbeatable. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the music was soothing. The package I purchased only included light pressure, but I was able to upgrade to medium/firm pressure for only $15 and they added in FREE hot stones just because which was much appreciated. At other spas I've been to, they've asked me to indicate any areas that need attention and never actually do anything special to address them. My MoCee therapist, on the other hand, did a fantastic job focusing on the areas that I needed some extra attention. I must also add that this was the best scalp/head massage I've ever received! I came here for a baby shower for my cousin and we wanted to do a girls day out and relax. We had 5 people in our party. They were able to accommodate us but I highly believe that they just asked a Joe shmo from the street or maybe a friend that isn't certified to make sure they could accommodate us. The gentleman that serviced me immediately jumped in a car after our massage and left. He was firm which I wanted. However he didn't accommodate bothe sides of my body equally. Furthermore, he kneaded into my hamstring and pulled one of my muscles so now I'm sore. Almost like I worked out. Receptionists are the most rude people I have ever met. They demanded an additional $20 tip on top of the $20 tip already given for a $100 couples massage. They said that two people massaged us so they should have a $20 tip each. These people are out of their mind. They make very rude comments at customers. They demand we upgrade our Groupon massage. It was a short massage but for the price and a mimosa waiting for you at the end, I can accept that. However, I was looking for a deal in a couples massage and this was the only one, so I decided to take the risk. Making the appointment was as easy as calling. I received a follow up text the day before the massage as a reminder, which was nice. The place is set up like a real spa. Soft music, comfy chairs, relaxing things around. They do up charge from the Groupon for medium or firm pressure. Only light pressure is included. This was weird and off putting. Mismosas awaited us in our couple room. They were decent. The massage was....not great. This place is more of a dressed up foot finesse than an actual day spa. I do not believe the masseuses were licensed massaged therapists. For the price, it was ok. My whole front side wasn't done during the massage and when they switched me rooms the table wasn't set-up right for the wrap and I had to keep getting up and down. Manager & desk clerk very nice & friendly, would've been glad to give 5 stars until we were leaving the masseuse pressured a tip very rudely "Cash or card for tip" even then I still gave a small 10% tip she looked at it and said "Is this for 1 or 2 people?!"
