Wow I was so impressed with the mochi donuts here! The texture of them had just the right chew and each flavor really was done well. We ordered a variety of flavors to try and we liked all of them. I would have to say my favorite flavor was the s'mores. I will definitely be back again and looking forward to new flavors. The cafe is cute and quaint! There was only one staff member there during our visit, and she was nice!

Why haven't I written a review of Mochinut yet? These are literally my favorite donuts E-V-E-R! If y'all have not tried this location out yet, you should. I always stop by here when I head out to my moms in Carrollton. Everyone always enjoys them as well. I love that there is always a new donut to try. Staff is nice and teas are yummy!

Mochinut is the superior mochi donut place because the donuts always come out hot and fresh! They are chewy yet light and the flavors are so creative. Also they are all decorated very beautifully. I prefer the icing flavors over the flavored sugar ones but having both brings variety. I really liked the coffee and ube churro. Wish they would let you buy a single donut but oh well.

Delicious! Really great texture and flavor. 3 for $10 is a good deal I think. Kids and adults will both love it and they aren't too sweet. I'll be back to try other flavors for sure.

It's a unique twist on the soft Mochi texture and sweet fried donuts! Must Try!!! But I'm warning you- you might get addicted!!!

Okay I am blown away. These are so good. I can't get over it. Honestly, the original is my favorite! Crunchy outside, soft inside...I've never had such delicious texture! If you're less bland than I am, the other flavors are I credible too. I personally feel like the original really showcases the unique texture and creamy flavor so well. We were absolutely blown away. First came the doughnut, then the cro-nut, and now we have the mochi-nut. What a time to be alive! Texture is king here! Mochinuts consists of 8 mochi balls that are connected and arranged in a ring shape Then fried so they're crispy on the outside while the inside remains soft and chewy with a bit of bounce. You can find a full menu online, but they only offer a handful of flavors that rotate daily so come back often to try all the flavors. My favorite so far is the Churros and Black Sesame. I have a soft spot for churros because the sugary spice reminds me of happier times at the state fairs and amusement parks. If I see it on the menu, I will always order it. The Black Sesame has a deep roasted flavor that balances perfectly with the sweetness of the glaze. Keep in mind, mochinuts are not like traditional doughnuts so they won't knock you in the face with sweetness. They flavors are delicate and balanced so you experience all the flavors and textures equally. However, these mochinuts are on the pricey side and they have a minimum box of three, but they are definitely worth it! Their milk teas are decent, but what makes them awesome is they come in a container that looks like a clear soda can. They almost look too cool to drink! They also offer Korean hot dogs, but I have yet to try one. To top it off, the staff is extremely friendly! I can't wait for my next mochinut experience.

Made an after lunch stop to the place because my sister had mentioned wanting to try this place. Got a 3 pack with maple bacon, ube and buttermilk. These are probably the softest mochi donuts I have ever had. Perfectly chewy and the right amount of icing/glaze on them. The inside was very clean and had cute decor. Stopped in here last night after my niece told me I had to try these! Unfortunately, we had just eaten, so although we bought a box of six, we found it very hard to eat more than a bite of each. So my tasting experience was a little lacking. I will say they weren't the 'chewy' I was anticipating, as she had said. They had more body to them than a doughnut, since they are made with a rice flour, which creates a more dense bite. But it definitely isn't like a bagel, which is what I was afraid it would be like. I can't say which one I enjoyed the most - don't just get one, get several. And we got so lucky, they had just made a fresh batch when we arrived! The staff is so super friendly & masks ARE required, so just put it on. Definitely will go back! FYI - this place gets crowded on a Saturday night, very popular!

We were pretty excited to try Mochinut, but ultimately felt it was a bit overhyped. A little disappointed with the limited selection, and felt the mochinuts were a bit too sweet, so we'd suggest you to bring a bottled water since they don't have any water cups there. I also didn't really like the fact that we had to buy a set of three at once, and not just one or two. The upside is that the staff was ok. read more

Finally!!' The donuts are not as greasy than other ones. I noticed dragon places donut was much more greasy. It's delicious and awesome. I'm so happy to find mochinuts in DFW! My favorite flavor from here is coffee. I love how the outside is crunchy but inside is chewy and slightly moist like a mochi. I never liked mochi much because of how sweet they can be, but these mochinuts don't taste just like sugar. read more

Tried mochi donuts for the first time and really enjoyed them. They are soft and chewy! I wish the had more flavors they only had 5 flavors out, melona, plain, s'mores, bubblegum, and churro. We tried s'mores, melona, and plain. For three donuts it's $9 which is a little bit pricey. The s'mores tasted just like a chocolate covered donut but had a cute teddygraham and marshmallow on top. The melona really did taste like my favorite popsicle. I'm always down for plain with the glazed icing on top. The icing was a little bit too sweet for me. the donuts texture and overall taste was 8/10. read more

My favorite spot to grab mochi donuts and they do a great job. I've noticed that they like to switch up flavors so there might be a new surprise when you stop by. The classic original is still my favorite option, not too sweet, and you can enjoy the chewy softness of a mochi docent. Not sure what to say other than that you should definitely try it out! read more

Only have a few donut flavors (website suggests many flavors) and they sell the boba tea at full price even when they don't have tapioca pearls for it. And they only sell donuts in multiples of 3, 6, or 12. read more

I was so excited to see that there's a mochi donut shop closer to me! They have a variety of flavors and they also have a few boba drinks as well. I got the chocolate pocky, churro, and banana and they were all really good and not too sweet. The only thing I didn't like was that you couldn't buy just one individual donut--the minimum was 3 which came out to be roughly $10. Other than that, I like this place and will be coming back when I am craving mochi donuts! read more

You have to buy a minimum of three donuts? That has to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. And I have owned a donut store before. That is such a large barrier for entry to people. Eventually one guy had his entree' Caesar salad served, which he finished before the next dish arrived. A few more came sporadically over another 15 minutes, the rest arrived in bursts like it should. The food arrived in the all too common practice of showing up tableside as the staff holds it above eye level while shouting "WHO HAD THE blah blah?", instead of using an order seating system and just quietly serving it without having to shout at everyone up and down a long table 16 to 30 times. Personally, this type of dinner service really bothers me as it shatters any ambiance the place may have had, and kills conversation. It shows the wait and kitchen staff lack training and organization skills, but worse, that they have no concept of what dining out is, or should be. This isn't the Catfish Shack guys, get a grip. Unfortunately, I ordered the Cobb Salad which was sub par made with hamburger toppings, factory diced iceberg lettuce, diced tomato, diced egg, diced avocado, with all appearances of being shaken out of a bag, unfortunately with the wrong dressing. Dressing was on the side, thankfully, so that was fixable by flagging staff and waiting another ten minutes. It might have been resolved faster had waitstaff asked how is everything??? The Cobb was 75% of an entree serving but more than enough given what it was. A friend had the glazed salmon and rice which looked very good, other entrees looked fair, some of generous proportion. Unfortunately , as this is a larger restaurant with nice covered patio seating, it is possibly the worst of the lot as Preston/121 location is top notch in comparison. It is in need of decent management, perhaps to train/retrain the whole staff. Rather disappointing. I have no desire to return to this location.

This is a review long overdue; I've been to Teso many times before, with my first few times way back when it first opened and they had photos of the store thiefs printed and posted on their front door (it always gave me a chuckle, but I think for legality purposes they had to take those photos down RIP). Ironically it was because of those photos that caught my interest to check out Teso, because it was reminiscent of the kind of public shaming behavior I'd see within Asian communities haha. I enjoy treating myself in Teso when I can; they have a huge selection of Chinese Lays, Japanese gummies, childhood favorites like Calbee and Meiji. Huge selection of drinks too, and endless rows of beauty products ranging from hair styling, coloring, mascara, facial masks, etc all packaged in a very aesthetic layout, and you'd know anything you get is going to be good. I've gotten good quality home sandals here too, and enjoy the soft serve ice cream options in their refrigerated areas.

At the checkout counter I was given a orange reusable TESO Life shopping bag featuring their cute monkey logo. It was a thoughtful touch and a souvenir from my visit. The only downside I noticed was the lack of staff available on the sales floor. If you're just browsing, that's not a big issue, but if you need help finding a specific item, it maybe difficult to get assistance since the only employees I saw during my visit were working at the cash registers. Overall, it's a fun store to explore, especially if you enjoy discovering unique items that are difficult to find anywhere else.

Wicked snow is my favorite so far in the area. The snow was so fluffy. Flavor was consistent throughout. Many different interesting options, including the one I went for- Dubai Chocolate - which I found to have very similar flavors to chocolates of the same name (pistachio/chocolate). Will definitely be back. Snow/shaved ice desserts are a must try if you have never (I can't believe I had not until wayyy into my adult life), and wicked snow has some of the best I've tried so far.

The tables were a bit dirty, but the place gets busy and we came within an hour of them closing so I guess it's to be expected . Either way, we would definitely come back .

The inside is very artful, it's fun to look at with the large centerpiece in the middle of the café, and there's ample seating to sit and chat with friends or get task done. I really love the packaging of the product and being able to carry my drink by the handle they provide. My beverage was ordered with no ice, and filled to the top which if you ordered a drink without ice before you know that isn't always common so I was really glad when I received it! I had a good time, and service was quick. I was in there no more than 10 minutes from ordering to receiving my drink.

What really stood out, though, was the service. Our waitress was fantastic and paid attention to the little details. My friend was making sure our order didn't include mushrooms, and she took the time to ask if it was due to an allergy so she could make sure everything was safe. The atmosphere is pretty slick. A Photo Booth like space, nice bathrooms and flexible seating to accommodate both large parties and small parties. Reasonable prices that allow you to try new things and enjoy other things that you may be familiar with. All of the items that we had are in the photos, but the creative presentation is what stood out most! Cute bao buns, chicken served with ramen to allow the customer to enjoy it as they would like, and good sized portions. My only ask would be for more broth with the ramen dishes. The noodle to broth ratio was just slightly off. 9/10 would recommend.

I recently visited Mochinut, and it was such a fun experience! I tried the original, chocolate, churro, and strawberry mochi donuts, and they were all delicious. The texture was perfect--crispy on the outside and wonderfully chewy on the inside. My favorite was the churro flavor with its cinnamon-sugar coating, but every flavor had its own charm. The inside of Mochinut is clean, bright, and inviting. The decor is modern and minimal, with fun pops of color that match the playful vibe of their treats. There's a cozy seating area, making it a great spot to enjoy your food or hang out with friends. The staff was friendly, and the donuts were served fresh and warm.
