I know these are very much egg based so at first I was a little weary that it would taste too eggy but no. They are just so delicious. I loved this place. I got the ham and cheese croffle, which is basically a waffle sandwich with ham and cheese. It was very good. My wife got the salmon one. It wasn't her favorite because she was expecting cream cheese rather than ricotta. But I think that's just a matter of taste. The kids got a cookies and cream souffle pancake. It was very good. I'm writing this under protest because personally I'd give a one star but my girlfriend said I should give it a three. The food was good. But we ordered three fluffy pancakes and two cheese cakes. One regular and one chocolate. They brought everything but the chocolate cheesecake. I brought it up nicely and her response was we didn't order it. Ok I didn't get a reciept so my bad but when I mentioned that we did she just shrugged it off and said we don't have chocolate cheesecake today which kind of felt like she blew me off. I checked out the Carrollton location last year when it had recently opened and tried the matcha pancakes. They were just okay. The flavor was a little lacking in my opinion. The wait time was reasonable considering the pancakes are made fresh to order (and they're worth the wait!). But if it's busy, I would expect a much longer wait. 1 Star. Food - We ordered the Crème Brûlée Pancake, and it confirmed the hype is real. The pancake itself was incredibly light and airy--like biting into a sweet, fluffy cloud. The top was torched to a perfect golden crisp, giving that satisfying crack when you dig in. The custard was smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness to balance the richness. Cute cafe hidden away in apartment complex retail. They have souffle pancakes with lots of toppings and lots of drink options. Our friends brought us here when we were visiting them in Carrolton and yes, they are very good at what they do - the souffle pancakes were fluffy fluffy, soft, not too sweet and paired well with the creamy toppings. We arrived to Fluffy Fluffy, it was almost like a boba place, good amount of tables and very IG photo worthy. We got there it was quiet but when a group of young adults showed it became quite loud, so I'm not sure if that is a regular occurrence. I'm actually obsessed with Fluffy Fluff. This is my third time coming this month for their jiggly Japanese-style soufflé pancakes. They're just too good. I have been looking for the Japanese soufflé pancake experience since having them in Japan and stumbled upon Fluffy Fluffy. It is a small cafe, hidden in an apartment complex. It was fairly empty when we got there. My friends and I opted to split two sets between three of us. We had the signature pancakes and the matcha tiramisu pancakes. They make them to order, as most places do, so it takes about 20-30 minutes to cook. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, but a lot more eggy than I expected. The signature was delicious. The matcha tiramisu came with a matcha syrup, but it ended up being cloyingly matcha, turning a light, fluffy dessert to something overly heavy and thick. I think my expectations were too high, so it was enough to satisfy the craving, but still made me miss the pancakes from Japan. My friend also ordered their own drinks and pancakes. They accidentally messed up a pancake, so they had to remake it, but because they make them all to order, it added an extra 20-30 minutes. Luckily, we were there to chat, but they ended up comping their drink and getting the pancake to go. I'm glad there's a soufflé pancake place though! The space is so cute and you can park in the garage nearby. When we arrived, they noted it may take 20 mins to get our food but they came out fairly quickly. We tried a few drinks which were a bit on the sweet side and we weren't able to adjust the sugar levels. The pancakes, however, came out fresh and delicious. The signature was light with the whipped cream and fruit. The tiramisu had the perfect level of sweetness with the added touch of the chocolate syrup. Stopped by here after we ate next door; very nice cafe, open and spacious, and service was quick. We were excited to try these for a little while now. We got the raspberry banana to try there and ordered the blueberry cheesecake to go. It does take a little while to get the pancakes, so be advised it's about a 20min wait. Luckily for us, there wasn't really a line so we got ours "quick" today. The cakes were beautifully plated and smelled amazing; cameos hot and had that perfect jiggle to them. Soufflé pancakes are one of my favorite desserts, so I'm glad that there are two Fluffy Fluffy locations to choose from in Dallas! I always enjoy the different seasonal flavors and even just the classic is phenomenal. So light and not too sweet, which I love. It is definitely not a cheap dessert, but great nonetheless. The one thing that I did not like here are the drinks. I've had their coffee and teas and did not like any of them. It's almost as if the drinks are an after thought. Still very good desserts though. I have yet to try the croissant waffles (croffles), but they are probably delicious as well. If you are in the area for Korean bbq or one of the other great Asian establishments in Carrollton, don't forget to stop by Fluffy Fluffy, it's easy to miss. Heads up on the sign says $14.99 for deluxe but when we ordered on the kiosk for dine-in it was $15.99. Presentation was very nice and lots of matcha sauce that wasn't too sweet (although personally shouldn't have put all the sauce over it). The pancakes themselves were very very light and airy texture, which we really enjoyed. Reason for docking off a star is because the pancake insides were somewhat soggy/undercooked. I have been waiting for this location to open for such a long time and the wait definitely paid off! This location is off of Old Denton Road on the 1st floor of The View apartments. Parking is plentiful in the garage and it's a nice area that you can walk around and even go to the park. When you walk in, it's a very spacious place. A great hangout spot if you want to have a nice dessert or hang out with friends. The dessert cafe primarily sells fluffy japanese pancakes with numerous toppings. Ok so people need to understand that these pancakes take a while to make to get the shape and fluffiness. I think the workers are working as efficient as they can, and they are quite nice. That said, I think Japanese pancakes aren't for me. It's too eggy and overpriced. I only go here if someone hasn't tried it before, and wants to go for the experience. However, it's not my top priority bakery option. It's not bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it. I ate the creme brûlée pancake. Tip: go for their pancakes, NOT their cheesecakes. They completely forgot one of our orders and rather than just help, they legit gaslit our friend and claimed they gave us all our orders and it was our fault if it was wrong...despite us explaining that we would have still been missing an order even if they miss delivered one within the group. But the waitress kept saying we were wrong and that we had received everything. They did finally bring the missing order--though they forgot the ice cream and had to bring it in a tiny side cup--but the whole ordeal was insane! All they needed to do was just say ok and make it but instead they were all so rude and defensive! No apology, not a shred of acknowledgment that they made a mistake. And with the price of these pancakes, you shouldn't be arguing with customers like this! Look, I don't like to complain or leave bad reviews but I cannot shake just how rude and poor the service was.
