Jarams donuts is famous because they make special donuts for weddings. (I should custom order at some point too!) Not all the donuts I ate are shown but what I had were Banana cronut Strawberry cronut Cookie butter cronut Creme brulee cronut Autumn fall donut Hot dog pastry The banana cronut and strawberry cronut were absolutely amazing I will get these again. The fruit flavors are enhanced and with the crunch of a cronut makes for a well rounded sweet. The cookie butter cronut was nice but just like biscoff, it leaves a little dryness on the tongue. The autumn donut was also a little dry, it's best served with tea or a drink like a coffee cake. If you get this, make sure you get a drink! The creme brulee donut should be warmed up just like the hot dog pastry - be sure to ask when you order and don't repeat my mistake! This is a simple mom and pop shop showing great promise - keep on selling and I hope they expand! read more

Consistently good & I've loved everything that I have tried from here (strawberry cream cheese croissant donut, donut holes, buttermilk cake donut with cinnamon, chocolate glazed cake donuts, & jalapeño kolachies). My family/friends loved their blueberry donuts & banana pudding as well. They're still the best several years later! read more

These donuts left me speechless! I was just planning to have a bite but ate the entire donut in 1 sitting. I was amazed at the selection of donut flavors and types. They have every donut you can think of the quality is top notch. We also got kolaches from here which were good but the donuts are the star of the show. I ordered these on Ubereats but will definitely make it a point to visit the actual store next time just so I can see all their donuts in person. read more

I was having a hard time finding a donut shop that could make letters for my daughter's birthday and my friend recommended Jarams. I was so excited when I was able to place the order online and schedule pickup for first thing in the morning. I got there on a Monday morning only to find out that I had placed the order for the following day. It was 8am and my daughter's birthday party was at 11am so I couldn't wait until the next day for the donuts. These people were amazing - they called the bakers back to the store and the donuts were ready for us to pick up in time for the party. I will be forever grateful to them for saving the day. P.S. This is my favorite donut shop in DFW and I've tried a lot. I think it's the Crème Brûlée donut that does it for me. Always friendly staff and nothing super special about the interior. Looks like every other donut shop. But, they create amazing things here. read more

Too: Get the Cronut (Croissant donut). Your tastebuds will thank you. The exterior is not flashy of this location but the donuts here are phenomenal. We got a bunch of different flavors and they were all unique yet rich and satisfying. The donuts are soft and fresh but you do have to come early on weekends. Otherwise don't be surprised that all the popular flavors are sold out. read more

We walked and found this cute donut boutique. We were greeted by the nicest women, who knew their stuff. They specialize in Holiday themed along with the original donuts. Now let's get into it. The glaze donut is light, airy and not too sweet. I would say it was perfection, each bite hugged my mouth with the love they put into making it. Finally had the chance to try this place a week or so ago, the donuts were overall pretty good but I was appalled to find out after speaking with the cashier the employees do not receive a majority of the tips nor do they get paid overtime !! which is such as shame because they are so nice and inviting when you come in! Aesthetically these donuts are very pretty and they look delicious but this is only my personal opinion.. I do not like their dough. The cronuts are not what I expected based on what I've had living on the east coast . Jarams are way too bready thick dense and dry. The croissant wrapped sausages again there was something off with the dough. It was a tad gummy. Obviously a lot of people love this place based on the reviews. I just personally like light airy buttery supple dough. I also didn't like seeing all the nats flying around the display case. read more

I've been trying to find a good donut spot for a little while now there's one across the street from where I stay but I leave at 6:00 in the morning and they're closed exactly what donut shop is not open at 6:00 sometimes I leave at 6:15 then that open so whatever and going north on Preston road once you hit Lloyd circle there's not a single donut shop believe it or not so long story short I want to take donuts into my coworkers to show my appreciation I yep this spot and the service is great they were funny it took Samsung pay I got two dozen donuts the basic glaze and glazed chocolate before the end of the day those donuts were gone so I think it's pretty safe to say the dogs were good. One of the best donut places in DFW, hands down. This place is quite popular on social media, and rightfully so. Between the variation of the donuts, price point, and overall quality, Jarams holds one of the top spots as far as donut places in DFW. We tried four different donuts, and each was completely unique- the only thing consistent through all of them was the quality. One point I think is important to bring up is the variety- while they have their daily menu, they do their rotating menu quite well, which includes all types of donuts from sweet to savory. Jarams is definitely one of the best donut places in DFW, and worth driving to! read more

These donuts rock. My first time eating a croissant donut, man it was stacked high, airy, lightly crispy with crunchy from the light sugar dusting outer layer. It was perfect. I'm not sure I can return to a regular donut after this. That's ok, because they have unique flavors of donuts that I need to come back to try like s'mores, shark, just to name a few. The strawberry Nutella cronut is still excellent and the raspberry filled mini cronut still delicious too! They are practicing good health and safety practices during Covid-19 times. They finally have a Jaram's sign instead of a generic "Donut" sign! I always found that confusing so I'm glad they have a nice custom sign to match their name! One of the better ones out there. At the expense of being way more expensive. The Special Donut - Cream Cheese & Mixed Berries was $4, likewise with the Croissant Donut - Custard Cream Topped at $4. At $4, i expected something a little more banging then a decent Korean Lady donutshop level Donut with cream cheese/ custard. The custard and cream cheese was nothing to be blown away by, the fruits were fresh. The croissant donut was good. The strawberry cake donut was actually pretty rare to find, and its pretty good. So the dilemma of - is it worth a trip to? No, is it worth it if its a local donut shop? Mmmm if you got some extra dough sure for a one time try but there are plenty of cheaper donut shops if you just want a basic quality donut. read more

I stopped by 30 minutes before closing and surprisingly they still had a good selection of speciality donuts. I ordered the maple bacon, strawberry cream, berries and cream, regular sprinkle, crème brûlée, and cream cronut. I also got one cheese kolache and one jalapeño and cheese. I highly recommend the maple bacon donut, which I was actually skeptical about at first. It tastes like you're eating pancakes and bacon. So good! The perfect balance of savory and sweet. All of the donuts were delicious and not sickeningly sweet, which I appreciate. I also recommend the strawberry and cream donut which is basically just cream cheese and strawberries on top of the donut. Very bright and fresh. The donuts are a bit pricey, but keep in mind they are speciality and all taste very fresh even when I went a bit before closing. Worth every penny. read more

I'm a big donut gal and Jarams Donuts are some of the best I've had in the Dallas area. I got an order of donuts delivered through DoorDash and even after delivery, they were delicious. I was impressed by the selection of specialty flavors and my favorite had to be the strawberry cronut. All of the other flavors I got (banana pudding and creme brûlée) were also executed really well. I can't speak to the service because I had the donuts delivered, but I think the donuts themselves were good enough to give Jarams a try. read more

I only recommend their creme brulee donut. The rest are hit or miss. I've missed more than hit. I love to try new things and the funnel donut was new. With the state fair being cancelled this year, they came out with funnel cake donuts. It taste nothing like funnel cake. The banana funnel was so bad because fresh bananas are not good to leave in desserts. They turn brown/black. Please stop making those. The cinnamon sugar was also not funnel cake texture, it tasted like a regular cake donut. Also their cream cheese donut with fruits are not good. Creme cheese doesn't go with donuts, stick to regular whipped frosting or glaze. 3 went in the trash. What a waste of money. read more

I thought that the actual dough was average nothing spectacular. Cronuts not crispy enough. The price OH...... sticker shock, they don't have prices for everything so for a dozen of those exotic doughnuts around $50, WOW. Better try some regular place next time. read more

Wow. What beautiful donuts!!! These beauties are almost to beautiful to eat. Great donuts. A little pricey but the art and the craft in making these was worth it. I was shocked to learn this gem has been at this location for 8yrs. Parking - plenty, strip center Atmosphere- small place. Very clean. The donut display is what makes this place the main attraction. Cool toppings from bacon to creme brûlée. Hot pockets, holes, long johns, glaze, chocolate and many more. They also have beverages ranging from fresh coffee, milk & juices. Jarams does special orders, cake, cupcake & donut decorating for your party needs. Seating is available inside in the case you can't wait until you get home to overindulge in these splendid doughy sensations. Customer service was super pleasant, patient and done with a smile. It's more yeast like, which I prefer in a donut. New banana coffee donut was interesting, I really liked the crumby part outside but wish the coffee flavor stood out more. Vanilla drink with whole milk - the vanilla shots were strong and should've done oat milk instead. That would make it taste much better Overall, great experience and love the new flavors they experiment with! My thoughts - in the more yeasty-donuts, add a layer of filling inside!

Yup. CAKE BALLS. We were all pretty full, but still wanted to try them all. I mean, when you're presented with the choice of Snickers, Oreos, Butterfinger, Cinnamon and Sugar, [Fruity] Pebbles, or Cherry Glaze it's pretty hard to single out the best flavor. I ended up getting their 3 most popular ones: Snickers, Butterfinger and Pebbles. There's one thing that you need to know about these cake balls. They're not like any other you've tasted. Usually, cake balls are made from a mixture of cake batter with a lot of icing to keep it moist. Beckett's method is to use a donut hole as the base encased in a layer of their own special frosting with your choice of candy or cereal. It sounds simple and mundane, but I can assure you that these were some of the best cake balls I've ever had in my life. The donut base was pillowy and moist. With the super sweet frosting it melded perfectly into what seemed like a piece of heaven in every bite. The crushed candy was the icing on the cake, per say, adding different flavors and textures to each ball. I really can't explain it more than I have. It was just pure awesomeness. In an environment where pretty much everything is fried it was a welcome surprise to find a stand that served something different. I spoke with the owners and they said they were in the process of relocating their business from Tulsa, OK to Dallas. Their presence in the Big D will allow us to enjoy some of these awesome cake balls year round instead of having to wait until the State Fair runs each year. Happy dance. If you're looking for something different keep your eyes peeled for Beckett's. I'm sure you will enjoy their cake balls as much as I did.
