Best Mochinut spot. Amazing experience, well decorated, great product merch and mochis are freshly decorated and served warm.

    Variety!

They were really good! We bought a cookies and cream-plain-and coffee flavored. I thought they would've greasy- but to my surprise they were very light and airy! I went to the area for a doctors appointment (nothing contagious!!)) but was glad I checked this place out!!

We're from out of town and had a family event to attend and just wanted to bring a little something. So we went with 3 dozen Mochinut donuts and 1 dozen mochi balls. We went for variety to cover all our bases. Everyone loved the variety. We were able to pretty much try every flavor. Customer service was amazing and helpful.

Honestly, I came to this place with friend and saw it had lots of good reviews so we decided to check it out. Unfortunately, we left extremely disappointed, service was alright but the food and drinks was so underwhelming. The mochidonuts were plain and honestly could barely taste the flavor, what made it bad for us was that we literally just tasted the oil it was fried in and that's all (the oil smelled and tasted old). We also ate 2 potato corn dogs and 1 hot cheeto corn dog, the 2 potato one were just that, potato on the outside but there was no seasoning on it, as for the hot cheeto one it wasnt properly dried and just felt greasy and not appetizing at all -- my friend couldn't take another bite because it left her nauseous. The drinks we tried were the Strawberry milk tea with kiwi pearls and the brown sugar milk tea with boba. The drinks weren't great either just super sweet and just tasted like sugary milk. I didnt have a good experience here and neither did my friend, fortunately they did give me a partial refund for the donuts and hot cheeto corn dog but they look very confused on why I didnt like it? im guessing we're the very few people who didnt like this place and what it had to offer.

Pretty good. Warm, crispy yet chewy at the same time. A mochi donut should have that distinct chewiness. This location serves up some good products. Everything is fresh and customer service is great. They have these new mochi balls that are a little different than their mochi donuts. Chewy, soft, yet there's a filling inside the mochi balls. Plenty of flavors to choose from. For the mochi balls we chose matcha. Yummy with a creamy matcha filling inside the ball. For the mochi donut we chose pistachio as well as their yogurt flavor. These two flavors must be new. I've never seen them before and I often visit various locations of Mochinut. This location, as well as the Chinatown location are definitely my favorites. A few other ones serve their mochi donuts cold. Tea beverage's are plenty on the menu. We opted for Thai tea with less sweetness and full ice. Crisp and creamy. Good flavor and paired well with the donuts. Open air environment and plenty of windows. This area is a bit further out with where I typically venture, but will definitely be back to visit and grab more mochi donuts. I also liked how the sweets weren't too sweet. Chewy and yum. Perfect on this Friday evening. Until next time!

So so glad there is a mochinut in the Heights! The flavors are more limited here than their Bellaire location (unfortunately no Asian-inspired flavors like Thai Tea or Taro). Honeydew (not pictured) was their closest "Asian" flavor and I don't recommend it - it was too sweet and artificial. My favorite was definitely the coffee. These are dangerously irresistible when eaten fresh! There is free wifi and plenty of seating, but I would not recommend this place to settle and do work. The wifi was very slow for me and there's lots of people coming in/out.

We came in on a Friday night. I expected to not have many options as it was close to closing, but they still had an assortment of flavors to choose from aside from a few. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant had a clean welcoming ambiance. The mochinuts are amazing. The texture & flavors make them unique and addictive. They're chewy and remind me of funnel cake. I also got a vietnamese coffee that was SO yummy. Though the corndog left me a bit conflicted, maybe it's just not my thing. Overall good at their main food & the coffee was something to remember. Everything tasted fresh even though we came a bit close to closing. Would definitely return.

I decided to grab some mochi donuts for Father's Day. You order at the kiosk and your number is called when your order is ready. I chose to have cookies and cream, plain, raspberry funnel cake, matcha, mango gummy and original glazed. I only had to wait a few minutes and when my donuts were received they were nice and warm. Inside its cute, clean, and inviting. I asked if they contained were egg or dairy and sadly they do if you have family members with allergies. They tasted great. Chewy and slightly sweet. They also have mochinut balls like donut holes too. They also offer korean corn dogs.

Just to update on my review, I couldn't even stand to eat the other donuts because I was so grossed out. I ended up giving them away. So yeah my point still stands, would not recommend this chain to anyone in the future. Paris Baguette has mochi donuts if you need them!

I have never heard of this place or this food. The lady working was nice to explain everything to us. Had to try a few items. OMG this stuff was amazing. It's not too heavy. Oh man I should've gotten more. We don't have any of these stores near me. I will definitely go to another one if I ever come near one

I tried Mochinut on a Saturday afternoon and it was a nice little pick-me-up. The service was very friendly and the girl who took my order was very nice. The space inside is a bit small. I had an Ube boba tea and 3 mochinut balls (taro, coffee, and matcha). The boba tea was not made with real ube, just with powder, so that's something to be aware of. There are other Boba tea shops in Houston that have ube Boba tea with real ube purée or paste. But even with the powder, it did have a nice flavor. It wasn't too sweet, which I appreciated. The texture of the boba was also nice. The texture of the mochi balls was pretty good. Crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy the inside. But I didn't love the flavor of the filling on the mochinut balls. The taro and matcha were fine but the coffee was actually a bit bitter. I don't know of many other bakeries in Houston that have mochi products, and the texture of the mochi was nice, so I think I would try this place again. I think I would just get a mochi l donut without any filling. I don't think I would get bubble tea from here again.

The Mochi donuts here are pretty good. Came her for dessert after dinner. I order 6 Mochi donuts for $18 (pandan, Ube, strawberry, mango & gummy, white chocolate and biscotti, & chocolate churro). All these flavors were unique & my kids love it. First time my kids and I having Mochi balls (3 for $8.50) and it was pretty good also. I order taro, strawberry, & oreo. Looking forward trying new flavor in the future. You can either order from the kiosk or the cashier. Since there was no line I just from the cashier lady. I waited like 5 - 8 mins for order to come out. I think it was just freshly made or waiting to be cool down from the back bc it was still warm when the lady gave me the box.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a spot to get some work done in the Heights area. Neither Sunday Press nor Luce had a single table open so we ended up trying out Mochinut. The lot in front of Mochinut usually has at least a few spots available for quick parking. We walked in and were surprised to be the only ones there. The ambiance is very bright and colorful and the cashier was very welcoming. We placed our order and sat down at a table that had an outlet, which there appeared to be many. The Vietnamese coffee I had was not the best I had but it was good. It hit the marks I was looking for: something resembling the taste of coffee that is as strong as possible. My girlfriend's peach green tea was very green tea forward and not overly sweet, which I liked. Our mochinut left me a little disappointed. I know mochinuts in general have been getting a lot of hype recently and I was excited to try, but this fell short for me. It tasted a little stale and cold and I would personally prefer a plane-glazed donut but this might just be me. Aside from the food, the chairs were a little uncomfortable and the Wi-Fi wouldn't work with my laptop or phone. This wouldn't be my first choice to study or to get work done but on this day it got the job done.

Parking situation is subpar in their large parking lot, one of the downsides of this plaza. It's always a pain parking to visit any restaurants in between Yale and Heights. Anyways, the interior is fairly clean and modern, the menu is small and concise and the staff of two worked hard to get drinks made quickly. I enjoyed my matcha brown sugar drink (with boba and matcha pudding). The boba had really nice texture and the matcha was also fairly heavy. I got oat milk with mine, which is nice that they're not using whole milk or milk powder. Most of the drinks are in the $6-7 range, which again is fairly standard for the nicer boba spots. It's a nice boba tea option for the Heights!

I got the brown sugar boba creme burlee milk, which was pretty tasty, it comes with boba and creme brulee, which is a nice custard. Big fan of the boba, just the right level of chewiness. Bonus is the option of oat and soy milk in addition to organic milk. I can attest to them handwhisking the matcha, and they measure out the proportions to get it right each time. Definitely worth giving them a shot and supporting local, plus for the next 1-2 months they're doing 50% off (physical coupon needed for December, just pick one up!)
