Today decided to stop by because I saw they were having a market and I've been wanting to try the gorditas for awhile. For me the place is a little ways out from where I live, about 25min. I ordered 3 items today, the breakfast Gordita of huevo con salsa verde, the Duvalin cold foam and (6) mini dessert gorditas. I waited about 10min total for everything and that's that there were about 25 people upon opening so everything came out at a reasonable price time. Let's start with the breakfast Gordita, it was a bit greasy but it was still rich in flavor and the outside had a nice crunch to it and still hot despite the wait, the Duvalin cold foam at first I didn't taste the Duvalin candy until I got closer to the bottom but it was still creamy and vibrant in colors with the foam being pink and the rest of the drink brown, the (6) mini Gorditas even though they are small they are still filling and the banana and strawberries on top were fresh, they didn't taste as if they had been precut. Although being dry and that's because it is like bread it's best to pair it with one of the beverages plus it helps enhance the full experience. There is also a nice seating area outside with a mural for great photo opps and not a lot of noise but today they were playing music that fit the experience as well. I enjoyed everything today and hope to visit soon to try more off the menu. read more

Lovely bakery!! I'd preface that by acknowledging that it is in a somewhat isolated area; but it is well worth the trip. It has its own parking area and a small patio with tables, as well as tables inside. Their main item are the "gorditas de nata" which is a Mexican traditional type of soft cookie with a mild taste; but here they slice them through the middle and stuff them with all sorts of sugary fillings or top them with ice cream. They also have cookies, slices of cake and a wide variety of coffees both hot and cold. I had their iced cafe lechero, a gordita stuffed with nutella and a biscoff cookie, all of which were really good. The service is also worth mentioning, the girl at the register was super patient and kind walking me through the options. The decor is very pretty both inside and outside and being in a remote area actually works in their favor because you can sit outside and enjoy your coffee without noise from traffic. I will be going back to try more of the items in the menu read more

The Christmas menu was cute! My gingerbread coffee with strawberry soft top was good! The macaroons were different flavors. The hello kitty one was Nutella and the grinch was Oreo, yummy! Great concept, very cute, Instagramable and fun! We went for the Harry Potter, Hogwartz pop up which did not disappoint. I had one of the stuffed conchas and I felt like it was pretty stale, just not the best I've had. I did however, take a tiny cake to go and it was delicious with a whipped cream frosting. We got their strawberry matcha and churro latte, loveeeed their matcha and the churro latte was a bit sweet for me but still enjoyed it very much. I saw this bakery on instagram and wanted to try the horchata drink they are currently promoting so decided to stop by with a friend. The parking lot has great parking options and the mural outdoor wall in the patio makes the perfect backdrop. The inside is very dimly lit with limited seating. They offer pad dulce and specialize on gorditas de nata. Think Gordita's but sweet instead of savory. I had a miel con mantequilla and my friend has a strawberry I believe. We both enjoyed the gordita but highly disappointed with the horchata. The horchata tasted like a powder mix and watery not what I expected. I will say that the concha that topped the drink was very good. I will revisit and try another type of drink to see if that changes my review. read more

Tsopelli (pronounced SSopellee) is a super cute and delicious bakery. Their drinks have the aesthetic and flavor, and they have a large menu of gorditas de nata with different toppings. Their Coraline smoothie is absolutely delicious. Definitely my favorite. The added concha to the drink was a bit hard, and the seating space is not very large. There's a beautiful patio with plenty of seating but with this heat, it's impossible! Overall, I love this place. It's great to pick up to go. read more

Came for the first time for a demon slayer pop up. The outside of the bakery itself is very cute with a nice shaded seating area. Plenty of parking. Inside was a bit dim. I was greeted by the bakers and there was a line but it was manageable. The cashier was nice enough, it was just hard to hear her over the chatter and noise in the bakery. I ordered the Demon slayer coke foam with a concha, two themed macarons and a Nezuko themed Bento cake. I only tried the coffee and the concha so far. Coffee cold foam was tasty if not a little watery for my taste. The concha on the other hand was haphazardly made, missing and eye and tasted stale :( I will update this review once I try the other baked goods but for my first time and considering I spent over $50 dollars today I think the execution and experience could have been better. I think this place has a lot of potential and I wish them the best of luck. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I was really glad I did! The food/price: I ordered a pack of 6 mini-gorditas and one regular-sized one stuffed with nata. All the gorditas have that mild level of sweetness that I was expecting, and the fillings are the perfect amount for me (not scarce, but not overflowing to the point that the whole thing falls apart). I agree with some other reviews I've seen that the texture of the gorditas is a little dry, especially on the inside; however, I do think that choosing a creamy filling like Nutella or lechera can help a lot with this. I paid $10 for my order and I think that's fair for what I got. Before leaving, I saw they also had doraditas de nata and I was excited to get those for an extra $2.99 because my mom likes them from when we lived in Mexico. The service: Everyone who greeted me was super nice, attentive, and welcoming. I casually mentioned that I was getting the doraditas for my mom and the cashier gave me a little red paper bag so that they would look like a mini gift, which I thought was so sweet as I went on Mother's Day. My order also came out pretty quickly since I went around the time they open. The ambience: For me, a Mexican gal with a personal love for pink, Tsopelli looks like my happy place. It's beautifully designed from the inside out in a way that shows you how much love has gone into this small, family-owned business. I wanted to impulse-buy all the stickers, tumblers, and other novelties available for sale inside. It's the kind of place I would go back to now and then to try new menu items and see if they surprise me. read more

I was really excited to find out there's a place that serves authentic nata desserts. I guess my expectations were too high because I was disappointed. I got the strawberry with nata & jelly, and the strawberry banana Nutella. I wish they had more nata filling options since that's why i was interested in this place (and that's what made it stand out to me), everything else in the menu looks like something i could just get an any other corner dessert shop near me, like the strawberry banana Nutella. Even so, I decided to try it out, and i have to say the location was pretty sketchy, and the place is cramped... the people are really nice and friendly though which I appreciated. Now onto the desserts themselves: they're below average, the gorditas are freshly made but the flavor is ok. The nata filling is yummy I really enjoyed that, but the Gordita is overflowed with filling that my Gordita was spilling out when I was eating it in my car. This kind of treat is only good for pictures and social media, since they cater to a cute aesthetic like hello kitty, other than that the flavor is basic. read more
