A true hidden gem. This place is located inside of the NY Tasty Pizza. I was a bit lost for a few but saw the small sign on the window of the pizza shop so don't get discouraged if you don't find it at first. They have a small menu but I wanted to try everything. I opted for the popsicles in a cup with fruit and mango sorbet, a HUGE sandia slice, and a agua de sandia. The mango paleta was out of this world! It had real mango throughout and was perfectly sweet and the second highlight was the giant piece of sandia with chamoy! My mom was shocked at how big my watermelon slice was haha definitely not an in the car snack to not make a mess. Highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.

The mangonada was better than anything I had that day, and including a certain "main" sandwich. The spices that were on the mangos, the ice cream on the bottom, and a cute little straw makes me want to come back to this place again and again. The corn in a cup was good as well, but nothing particularly stood out about it. I would drive all the way down to the side of town again just for the mangonada. I cannot wait to try some of the other fresh fruit desserts that they have.

I'm not from the area, but if I did live closer I imagine I'd be here most hot afternoons. Side note: They have moved in and share a location with the pizza restaurant - Tasty Pizza. It's next to the laundromat, but the pizza restaurant doesn't have a proper sign yet. If you have a hard time finding them, type in the pizza store on GoogleMaps or look for the store with a red air waving tube man. Can't miss it.

I can't stop raving about Popsy Munchy to all of my friends! I loooooved the Dragon popsicle! They have a variety of chamoy candies you can purchase so when I come in the future I think I'll get some chamoy gummy bears. I also got corn in a cup, which was good but not the best I've had. I would've preferred it with more mayonnaise. We were served by the owner and she was super nice. This used to be a food truck really close to where I live but now the food truck is closed because they have this brick and mortar location. She said that hopefully she'll be able to have her own location in the future (since right now it's shared with another restaurant). read more

I looked up the reviews for this place and only saw a couple, but I saw on the menu that they had corn in a cup and you know your girl loves corn in a cup so I had to get it. I decided to also try that mangonanda because it looked sweet, cold and delicious. That was probably the best decision of the day. The wife and I made the drive from Spring just for their mangonadas after seeing a post on Instagram. Although the price was a bit higher than the current market, it was worth the price. It had a lot of perfectly ripened mango chunks, unlike other locations with unripened, green mangos. The frozen mango sherbert was also delicious. You could tell it was made from real mangos. After reading the reviews, it appears we were blessed to experience no wait as we went on a Sunday afternoon. I can't wait to get another mangonada! Definitely worth the drive. read more

The times say 1pm-10pm me and my family got there at 2pm we were told by the NY Tastees pizza employee that the girl that opened up popsy wasnt there yet. We waited almost 20min after 2, 3 more families arrived. We ended up leaving. Please change the times, it causes an inconvenience and also the signage isn't clear. I came out here to try this place out at 5pm and the person at the pizza place said the girl hasnt shown up and he had been calling her because customers were looking for her I had seen a review similar to my situation where a family came and she hadn't open but never thought it would happen to me. I would highly recommend calling before going because it was such an inconvenience driving out here for no reason. read more

The thai tea was yummy too, but the thai tea was mild. It did wish it was stronger. The ube was nutty & vanilla in taste. Overall, the ice cream is good & affordable. I would come back for the yum cha & to try their other seasonal flavors.

I think, for me, it is good enough, but not an OMG experience, and there is the hassle of finding a place to park that doesn't cost money at any of the Houston locations. Plus, it is a product that is available at grocery stores in the freezer section, so I am not motivated to seek out a pricier option for the same product. But if you are lactose intolerant, you will be well pleased with the options.

Consequently, Yelpers should not be surprised the…read moreparking is mostly in paid lots, just like in every major city in the US--Cocos does not deserve to lose a star for this as in some reviews that brought down their average. You may order online, in shop through a tablet, or with a person at the register. We used the register because we did not see the tablet and did not want to order ahead online. The ladies who helped us on our visit were very nice. You get a number and they call it when your made to order food is ready. We did not have to wait long. There was medium to low noisy ambiance. It was deserted when we arrived, but they have relatively loud background music. While we were eating it got pretty crowded. Mostly a lot of young people in the middle of the day on a Monday. The inside is small, seating both inside and outside are limited and close together. One lady was studying with her laptop, but there are no plugs. The breakfast sandwich is customizable. We got it on a croissant and with sausage. The eggs had a unique texture and the sandwich a unique flavor that we could not place, but both were very tasty. We also wanted a crepe, but we split the sandwich and it was sufficient. We also got a small mocha and a decaf, both were ok to good. We would definitely come back again and recommend that you give them a try for a crepe or sandwich. It is sad that a few Yelpers brought down their average to 3.8 stars due to petty and unjustified complaints such as having to pay for parking downtown. Other complaints are not the business' fault such as periodic homelessness--it is a downtown area in the US, other cities have far worse homelessness than Midtown Houston and we saw none on this visit. Additionally, complaints about takeout orders are mostly petty. Takeout is never as good as eating at the restaurant and so customers should adjust their expectations rather than dock the business stars. Nearly every recent Yelp review for this who ate at the restaurant gave 4-5 stars for food quality and customer service. Like most of the restaurants in this area it is a pretentious yuppy style place with specialized food. Although not usually our type of place (we like down to earth hole in the wall places with good food or taco truck type restaurants), Coco's is a solid 4 star restaurant for the type of place they are and they offered a 5 star experience on our visit. Again, recommend you give them a try if you are in the mood for crepes or sandwiches.

With plenty of offerings from matcha to coffee to smoothies, and even food!, Emm has got it all. I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Avocado foam and it was a great pairing! I would have never thought of this combo. Both refreshing with a little sweetness to it and super creamy. For the matcha drinks, you can tell they use quality matcha based off of the vibrant green color. The space itself is great - it's comfortable and bright and super chill. One of the owners stopped by to make sure our drink was good and stayed to talk for a while, providing fantastic customer service, Highly recommend checking Emm out! I know I'll be back very soon!

I didn't adjust the coffee, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste and not that strong compared to the competition in the area. Perhaps it was the avocado. I'd like to go back and try their other menu items. Customer service was good; the cashier walked me through the menu. It's also a cute place to study and hang out with friends.

I think the initial taste is good and then when the ice melts it tastes more watered down. If you drink it before it's watered down or lower the ice volume then i think it would preserve its quality. I tried the earl gray matcha and that one had a little floral flavor with the earthy matcha flavor combined. It's not one I would order again. Then I also tried the double matcha! That one was really sweet and tasty. If you like pistachio flavored matcha or lattes then you'd like this. The inside is cute and cozy. Looks like a nice place to hang out or study.

I got the fruit cup with mango, watermelon, chamoy, and tajín, and a chamoy fruit pop. The wait was long but it was worth it. The fruit was fresh and perfectly ripe. Everything was delicious! They have sooo many amazing looking desserts and snacks. Definitely will be back to try them all! read more
