Stopped in over the weekend for some sweet treats and we were so glad that we did! We kept it simple and just ordered 3 donuts, in case we didn't like them. Well, we were completely impressed by how light and crisp the donuts were. The flavors were on point. Not overly sweet, but definitely sweet enough to serve their purpose. The flavors of the donuts pictured (L to R) are: CHURRO, CHAI LATTE, and YUZU (lemony citrusy). DE-LI-CI-OSOOOOO! We also ordered some Strawberry Lemon teas to wash it all down. Second time around here only because we loved the guava flavor the day we went the first time. Not really bad but it's kind of pricey. We had the cookies and cream oh wait I think it's Oreos flavor this time around. Anyway it's also good. I hesitated to post my review the first time we went only because it's really pricey. Come on, for a donut made of rice flour, in a tiny bit serving size?! If you're Filipino you would know that this is basically Karioka, sweet chewy balls with caramel sauce. The only difference is how they presented it (as mochi donut) and they have different flavors plus it looks pricey because of the fancy box they put it in. I think those fancy boxes they use are more expensive than a single mochinut. This is really an uber hyped-up dessert made from rice flour and shaped, decorated and flavored like donuts. Oh well the customer service is great, that's what the three stars are for and the place looks clean and well-kept (missing the Crepe Addiction that used to occupy this place), other than that it's really over-priced. But I would still recommend people to try it, if you like it you could come back. They make a good job in the social media hype. However since the flavors change constantly, you may not see the same one flavor you liked the first time around. They should have a flavor of the month at least, because the guava flavor was really good. Again, come and visit to try it, and before you dig in, make sure to take pictures, the fancy decorated mochinuts are always Instagram ready. Always looks like a work of art, maybe for that, you pay the premium to justify the expensive price. Some people love the hotdogs instead, but if that is so, they should change the name to highlight the hotdogs. read more

Stoped by this place for the corn dogs got the Cheeto coated half and half, and the potato coated half and half. Both were very good was able to get some sauce from the front. Also ordered a taro milk tea which was average. As well as two mochi donuts the churro was okay and a strawberry flavored doughnut. Definitely agree that there should be a warmer for the doughnuts they were cold. Also the condiments should be moved there was a crowd to order and people trying to get condiments. San Antonio really needed this. I really enjoyed everything I've tried here and am impressed with their large space. I'm not sure if they run out daily but it's worth calling ahead of time or checking out their social media to find out what they're serving that day. Prices are a little high for San Antonio but they are the only game in town that specializes in mochi donuts. Service is pretty good and the wait isn't too long. I plan to struggle along without going back to this place. I had a hotdog, which was basically flavorless and my daughter and I shared a couple of their donuts. They were "doughy" and not particularly tasty. The young lady at the counter was very pleasant, but when I commented that the music from the speakers was awfully loud, she just smiled. Came for its soft opening took 2 days due to them selling out. Has a great fried exterior with a good mochi chew. One star for poor customer service. Our family of 5 ordered 15 donuts, a drink and hotdog each. We were so pleased to try a different play on hotdogs and donuts. Food was great - 5 stars. We asked for a smaller box to take home our remaining donuts. After spending ~$100 and providing the staff a tip as we ordered, they later refused to provide a smaller box for take home. The mochi donuts are pretty good consistency and quality. As for the flavors, I love the churro and ube the most. I don't think I've had a bad experience so far and I have been here a couple times. However, the tapioca for the bubble tea isn't the best. They are small and feels a bit cheap. It tasted like the 5 minute tapioca bought at asian store since the texture wasn't it. But the coffee milk tea was okay -- not that milky/creamy for a coffee milk tea, kinda of sweet even though at 50% sugar level. We ordered 3 mochinuts and it took us over 20 minutes to get them. Call me old fashioned, but if you're running any variation of a donut shop your donuts should be ready when you open on a Sunday morning. There was a sign that said wait times were longer than usual due to being short staffed, but this place was the farthest thing from short staffed. Went for the first time today and when we walked in all 3 girls behind the cash register were on their phones and when we placed our order one girl said they didn't have potatoes and one girl said they did. The brown sugar milk tea was not like brown sugar milk teas anywhere else I've had. Very watery and the pearls didn't have a very good texture when you chewed them. When my food was ready 2 of the girls were back on their phones and when I looked up there was a sign saying "please be patient we're under staffed, food might take longer to come out". So, I've been wanting to try Korean corn dogs for a while now. Last week, my roommate and I grabbed it finally. I got a hot Cheetos half cheese half weenie corn dog and a potato half and half one too with a Thai boba tea. As a hot Cheetos fanatic, I gotta say, it wasn't my favorite. Not bad by any means. The potato one though was great along with the dipping sauce. The boba tea hit the spot. They do cook them when you order and can take a while. Expect long line. Expect for them to tell you some items are sold out after standing in line to get to the front. It's probably a good idea to post something by the front of the door to let customers know some flavors of the donuts are out. Even an updated hand written note would be helpful. So frustrating to get to the cashier to order and they tell you some items are out. This has happened to us twice. Very overpriced. I understand the uniqueness of the product but it's more than doubled (maybe tripled) the average donut. Avoid the drinks. Waited over 20 mins for 2 drinks and saw the inexperienced employee keep remaking it. The milk tea is too light and bland. Boba is good but flavoring is weak. Went during soft opening. The churro and chocolate drizzled donuts lacked in flavor. The blueberry was very nice. I would go for the iced donuts because the icing provides more flavor than just the sprinkled ones. The mango drink was delicious.
