The food itself was good and hit the spot. Unfortunately, the service I experienced was terrible. Several employees were on their phones, distracted, and barely paying attention to what customers were ordering. The menu TVs were turned off, so it was impossible to see what was available. Instead of helping at the counter, staff pushed everyone toward the kiosk and generally looked bored and uninterested in working. It felt like they didn't want to be there, which really took away from what could have been a nice meal. This location is connected to the boba place next next-door, and I've never actually gotten anything from this location, but we tried it today and I was so pleasantly surprised. The hotdogs are where it's at at Mochinut! Savory and juicy and served on a chopstick! The down side is that they are messy to eat because the flakes on the outside of the crust get everywhere. Still a big hit with kids. Mochi donuts were so-so. I tried the Ube and Marcha flavors. Matcha was my fav. The donuts have a cute shape and the toppings make them visually attractive. This was my first time having mochinut dog and I can't get enough. While I dog eat meat, I LOVE cheese. I got the mozzarella dog with cereal crush and sugar. I got sweet chilli and parmesan garlic dipping sauce. The staff were friendly and patient, they allowed me to take my time ordering since it was my first time. Solid corn dogs! I've tried the sweet potato, ramen, and hot cheeto coatings. All were good although I preferred the sweet potato and ramen over the hot cheetos just cause I love a good crunch! I've had it with just the sausage and the half-and-half with cheese. I do prefer it with just the sausage. I personally don't think they're too expensive considering I get full after one corn dog so ~$6 for a meal seems pretty fair to me. For the donuts, I've only tried the filled ones and I think they are just okay. The coffee one was surprisingly strong (in a good way!). The ube one tasted a bit artificial. (They have meat options too or half and half) The cheese was super melted and I just loved the perfect crunch of the fry it had on them. My complaint for the dogs is this.... If I hadn't read the small almost hidden sign on the wall that was handwritten that certain ones had Mayo so they wouldn't be crispy....well, my order would have been out in the trash. Very bouncy, flavorful and soft. It tastes exactly like you would expect but they aren't cheap. Be prepared to spend triple what a dozen or regular donuts would cost. I was very disappointed to find so few options though. The online menu mentions so many flavors and what was available were very basic, not any sweet fruit flavors available at all which is what made me want to go to begin with. I got a potato half and half hot dog with spicy mayo, and yes, it was yummy, but I wouldn't go out of my way to have one again. The mochinut donuts were not what I was hyping myself up for. I was left pretty disappointed. The churro was very plain. It was like a cinnamon sugar donut with only a hint of sugar and lots of cinnamon. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch gave me more churro vibes than the actual churro, bizarre right? It's was my favorite of the bunch. Sweet, soft, crunch. I didn't enjoy the spiced chai but my husband did. The kids liked the cookies and cream but not the strawberry funnel cake. We all loved that you could pull the circles apart, so sharing was easy amongst us. They weren't warm at all which was a bit disappointing but maybe that's just how it is? FINALLY, THEY ARE OPEN! I've been looking forward to Mochinut's opening since their signage started going up ages ago. And it was WELL worth the wait. Walking into the front door, I had no clue that Mochinut is attached to Mogë Tee, which is another fan favorite for Boba teas and all. The decor of the linked businesses is really beautiful. Every Instagrammer/TikToker's daydream. Donuts can be purchased in 3's- 3 ($9), 6 ($16.50), or 12 ($30). The prices may seem a little steep on the initial look, but these donuts are pretty big and GREAT shareable items. Each mochi donut is actually 8 little poppable donuts; so one order of 3 donuts ($9) is suddenly 24 poppables! Not bad. They offered several flavors- Churro, Cookies & Cream, Ube & Coconut, Raspberry Chocolate, Strawberry Purée, and Biscoff. I opted to try the Strawberry, the Ube, and the Biscoff donuts. De-licious. The coconut flakes on the Ube were a perfect touch. My favorite was the Biscoff. I was hoping the donut would be a little warmer/crispier, but it was super yummy. They also have a tonnn of options for the Japanese rice hot dogs, which I hadn't tried before and was sooo excited for! I tried the Original Half&Half (#2 on the menu)- half cheesy goodness, and half hotdog inside. Super crispy outside. Covered in sugar. This is a must try! As I said, I had never tried one of these, so I hadn't expected the sugar... But I very much enjoyed this tasty treat! I ordered spicy mayo on the side. Loved it. The service was great. Super cute little store and great service. This was my first time here so I wasn't 100% sure what we wanted. We ended up doing 6 donuts and then 2 filled donuts and 2 potatoes dogs add cinnamon sugar (recommended by cashier) and boy was she correct those corn dogs were super yummy.
