The store itself was adorable. Unfortunately, the customer service experience felt like I had accidentally interrupted someone's very important paid sitting session. My family was the only group in the store for quite a while, yet the woman at the counter somehow managed to make us feel like we were holding up a line of 50 people. Sensing that customer interaction might not be her favorite hobby, I headed to the touchscreen ordering kiosk. I asked if boba was listed because I couldn't find it. She informed me that she couldn't see the screen from where she was sitting, but was "pretty sure" it was there. One thing she was absolutely sure of was that she wasn't getting up to check. Storing energy for surely better things. After a bit of confusion about the boba options, she told me to just order with her. Lucky me! The ordering process felt like a speed round of a game show where asking questions costs points. We were rushed through despite there being exactly zero people waiting behind us. Honestly, I was ready to walk out and spend my money elsewhere. But later I returned for three ice creams and was helped by a gentleman who was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. The difference was night and day. I hate leaving negative reviews for small businesses because I truly want them to succeed. The shop is cute, the products are good, and the gentleman was great. But if customer service were an Olympic sport, the woman at the counter would be competing in the "Avoiding Customers" division. Please let the friendly gentleman handle the customer interactions. I have been to this location before and really enjoyed it. Their traditional and popular milk teas are very flavorful and tasty. The shop has a cute atmosphere, and I love that they carry fun items like blind boxes and unique Asian ice creams. Unfortunately, my most recent experience with customer service was disappointing. My partner and I came in to purchase milk teas, and one of the drinks was not something we liked (had a chalky texture as the powder was not fully mixed, but did not tase like the flavor we had ordered)--we had only taken a small sip. When we asked about possibly exchanging it, the employee told us, "we don't really do exchanges." I understand that policies vary, but it felt frustrating to have already paid for a drink we wouldn't be able to consume and then be expected to buy another one (which we did). Many larger companies are willing to fix a product if a customer is unhappy, and I believe good customer service--especially from small businesses--can make a big difference. I'm not someone who usually complains or enjoys confrontation, but we ultimately didn't like the product and hoped there might be a solution. Because of this experience, I'm not sure if I'll return to this location, though I may try a different store in the future. read more

Lent Fridays usually mean getting a little creative with dinner since we cannot have any meat, and Quickly ended up being a fun and unique choice. I went with the Volcano Bowl, which comes with white rice, crab meat, and tempura shrimp. The bowl itself was really satisfying and packed with flavor. My only small complaint is that I expected a bit more heat since it's labeled a Volcano bowl. A little spice would have taken it to the next level, but overall it was still very enjoyable. What really makes Quickly stand out is that it's much more than just a poke bowl spot. Their dessert selection is honestly one of the most unique I've seen. They carry novelty ice creams you definitely won't find in a typical grocery store. The one that caught my eye was the "fried chicken" ice cream, which is actually ice cream shaped like a crispy chicken drumstick. . Right next to it was a hamburger ice cream sandwich. If you're someone who loves trying fun or quirky desserts, this place is absolutely worth checking out. The shop itself has a nice setup and a modern feel, with plenty of snacks and treats available if you're browsing for something extra after your meal. The one downside during this visit was the service. There were two employees on staff one hanging out in the back while the other was working the front but never acknowledged customers walking in. After we ordered through the kiosk, the order was looked at and then the employee walked to the back to chat while we waited. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't the most attentive service. That said, we've been here before and the service was much better, so I'm willing to chalk this up as just an off visit. Even with the service hiccup, the food still came out fresh and tasty, just like we remembered. Between the solid poke bowls and the incredibly unique ice cream and Boba tea options, Quickly is definitely a spot worth stopping by if you're in the area. Stopped in after pizza at NYPD. Didn't really realize they had food since it kind of looks like a 7-11 from the outside. Milk tea was yummy. They have lots of Japanese ice cream which I will have to come back and try and lots of Asian style snacks too. Many things on the menu like Ramen and bao and bahn mi so I'll have to return to see if the food is as good as the milk tea. Order at the counter or at the kiosk and they call you when its ready. About 6 booths to sit and enjoy your meal. read more

We stopped by this place while waiting for our Chinese food. The shop itself is very cool--nicely decorated with lots of fun souvenirs, including unique soda bottles you don't usually see. We ordered two boba teas: taro and strawberry juice. The flavors were okay, with the taro being the better of the two. Unfortunately, our experience was let down by the service. It wasn't a case of being short-staffed, but with only two people working on a Saturday night, the attitude made a big difference. When my husband said "thank you," the response was just an eye roll. The food took a really long time to come out, even though the place was not busy. Kind of ironic for a place called "Quickly". I suspect this is because the staff seemed depressed... probably were taking their sweet time. The food itself was only okay. I've been to Quickly a number of times back in Socal a while ago as it was one of the first boba spots. The food here was fairly mediocre in comparison. My banh mi in particular was tiny, and also over loaded with teriyaki sauce so it was way too strong. Also had some popcorn chicken which was not very flavorful versus the Socal spots. Hii! I am a high school student so I tend to not have a lot of money. I love this place since the prices of not bad whatsoever, affordable and delicious. I have never had an issue with the staff, they are always polite and friendly. There is a certain guy whom is awesome, super kind and doesn't make small talk awkward. But I more love this place for the vibe it gives off, I like making plans here or even near so in case we get hungry we are near somewhere affordable. The tea was flavorful and a bit sweet from the sugar. I should have asked for less sugar, but it was still very good. The banh mi was very delicious. The bread was toasted perfectly without being too hard. The ham had a nice pork flavor instead of the traditional ham flavor, which I enjoyed. The veggies were fresh and plentiful inside the sub. There were two jalapenos on the side, and I put them inside. It has a kick while the cucumbers, radishes, cilantro and carrots cooled it off. I am very happy I went with the suggestions. The service was from the counter, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a person setting up shop for collectables (xo Steele) who was very helpful in opening the door for me and bringing me my iced tea. The staff only saved a wallet for a person who accidentally forgot it. The dining area was small, but the booths still had enough seats to grab. American music was in the background. Quickly had great tea and banh mi at a reasonable price with fast and friendly service. The banh mis are an awesome deal the pork belly one is my favorite. Their shrimp dumplings are also good. The popcorn chicken was good but kinda weird the breading kinda tastes like funnel cake. I don't usually leave reviews but this prompted me because it was so bad I couldn't even finish the food (and I almost always finish my food). I will caveat this that I only offer the popcorn chicken so this is solely on that and the service. We got there around 8pm and ordered the popcorn chicken as a snack. Location was clean, although basically empty. Service here is literally non-existent. Employee at the register was abrupt in answers and when getting food, the other employee felt like he hated working there. Now the food. Absolutely horrendous. Chicken was fried fine but it seemed they marinated this by having this soaking in salt water for hours. The chicken was salty AF, to the point it was bitter. So I raved about this place because there food really is good. We went this past Saturday and ordered some bao buns and a lot of other yummies. When we checked out though the card was approved but it said out of receipt paper. The cashier said no sorry the machines does that sometimes and that the transaction didn't go through. We said it said approved but he repeated the same thing. So we proceeded to swipe again. Well sure enough it did go through. Our bank said to call them as we would get the refund quicker so we decided to try that. Well that didn't work because nobody answers the phones. We tried 7 times in one day. Came here on an early evening and ordered some poke bowls, banh mi and milk teas. For poke bowls, you can build your own or order from their menu. I ordered the herbnivore poke bowl, which main protein source is breaded tofu. It is delicious and very filling. Because we came later in the day, the banh mi we liked to order was no longer in stocked so we settled for the bbq pork banh mi and it was okay but I have tasted better banh mi sandwiches. The Oreo and jasmine milk teas with bobas are good. Overall, this is a cool place. We stopped in after our travels during the day for a bite of Poke, Takoyaki and Bubble tea for Dinner. We ordered pretty easy for Poke bowls; one with 2 meats so we opted for both salmon and tuna and the other with chicken. The Chicken bowl was popcorn chicken and had a kick to it that my Dad couldn't really handle. The salmon/tuna bowl was a customized bowl so we had pretty much all the toppings. We were able to get crabmeat salad on our order that was usually an addition charge along with the typical add on that you will find at any Poke Spot. The Bubble tea was the home run for me. I had a blended combination of thai tea and a honey tea that worked very well together. We got large sizes but their chubby size caught my eye for next time we are visiting Orlando. The takoyaki was a little off for me. My sister said that they had deep fried it and thus it was very oily for our taste. Didn't taste fresh to us so maybe it was a frozen item. Ordered the Thai tea with boba and spicy chicken popcorn. The bubble tea was good level of sweetness and had a decent amount of bubbles. The spicy chicken popcorn was extremely spicy and this is coming from a person who traditionally loves spicy food and always asks for extra spice. It was as if chili powder was just dumped on the chicken popcorn, each nugget had a generous coating of spice. Since this is my first time, I'm not sure if this is how it is traditionally served or just my experience. Definitely would not recommend if you can only handle light spice. They have a variety of other food options that I would like to try in my next visit. read more

3.5/5 stars. We got the taro milk tea and the honeydew milk tea and both are way too sweet so I'd definitely suggest lowering the sugar level. The boba and grass jelly are good though. The grass jelly is cut small/thin enough that you can suck it up through the straw which is a relief as I feel like this aspect is always at hit or a miss at boba shops. I also got the corn nuggets which were fine, 6/10. The breading is a little too thick and the corn is not as creamy as I would've liked. The corn to breading ratio is also a little off to the point where my mouth got a little dry because I was eating so much breading. I think the Ice n Bites ones are preferable but Quickly does give you more nugs. My gf got the spicy popcorn chicken and said that it was enjoyable but not the best (Boba Queen is better in her opinion) and that the spicy was not very spicy. The place itself is nice to study in with like six or seven good sized booths. There's only two tables with outlets though and we unfortunately chose a busy night to go (they had an event going on) so those booths were taken.
