Pleasantly surprised is the probably the best way to describe the establishment. We stopped by the Mochinut of Wesley Chapel/Lutz on a whim. We had boba in mind, and Mochinut came up as the closest shop that could deliver in this regard. My rating factors in the location of the Mochinut here. While it is in the plaza on the westbound side of 56, this location lends itself to avoid the hecticness and heavy traffic that is found in the shops across the highway. Mochinut sits in a plaza is that is relatively tamer and calmer compared to the outlet area. I don't recall any tables and seating outside; if there was, it was maybe a bench or two. As you walk in, you will find a rather spacious interior with both table and lounge-like seating. There were two counter areas - one appeared to be non-operational that particular Saturday. The other (on the left as you walk in) seemed to be the main ordering counter with the displays of the mochi doughnuts. It was also interesting to see one staff manning the entire operation - not unusual for shops like this, but I can definitely see peak periods where more staffing would help. There were also two claw machines that pays out pretty cute stuffed animal prizes to include some Labubus (these machines accept both credit and cash - each game/turn costs $1). We ordered 2 boba-style drinks along with some mochi-style doughnuts. The food and beverages were a bit on the sweeter side, but it served its purpose. While not truly mochi cakes, the mochi-nuts (as the name suggests) were more on the doughy side - they were soft and offered a bit of the chewiness that mochi cakes deliver. Overall, not a bad place to just sit and enjoy for a bit. If you are in the area, whether shopping the outlets or any of the other nearby retailers, and need a quick fix of boba or something sweet, give Mochinut a try.

Assortment of mochi donuts

Got an assortment of mochi donuts for the fam and, even though it was late by the time I got them, they were still nice and chewy/bouncy from the mochi and had a good amount of sweetness. Love the decorations on the donuts themselves, really adds to the anticipation/aesthetic of the dessert

A do worker of mine brought these to work & I fell in love with them. Maybe because they were "different" than a normal doughnut....or so I thought. I was in the area & wanted my husband to try them. Inside was really vibrant & clean! The worker was nice. She actually helped me out with the ramen decision I was having trouble with. I tried 3 different flavors. Idk if they needed to be warm or not but ehhh, they were rather regular to me.

Pros: -customer service was good -Dubai chocolate was good (consistency was odd but flavor was really good, just gritty) -decor was cute and everything seemed clean Cons: -donut was gelatinous, the consistency was not good at all (flavor was okay) -ramen is all in little bags (the one we got was from California (would like to see imported ramen or the ramen actually being more homemade) (very mediocre) This place was just not my cup of tea.

Mochinut donut was good. First time I tried them. Donut was light and flavorful. It was not too sweet. Cute little spot.

First time trying Korean hotdogs and now I'd choose them over traditional ones because of the extra pizzaz. I didn't want to try anything too crazy like the hot Cheetos one, so I went with the original potato hotdog and a matcha mochi nut. The potato added a nice touch to the flavor and the Mochinut itself was good as well The inside has a nice vibe with plenty of seating. I also saw other customers playing some table games like tic tac toe and connect four that the restaurant has available

15/10 definitely coming back and the doughnuts are amazing great ambiance great food and just a cute place to hangout

Their mochinuts look good for pictures tho.

Mochi donuts are supposed to be soft and a little chewy. They're made of glutinous rice flour which gives them the distinct sticky and chewy texture. Their donuts separated immediately upon picking up and it wasn't as soft and sticky as I expected it to be. If this is your first time trying mochi donuts, it's worth the try. Just know, the original mochi donuts don't taste like this. Oh and the taro boba drink was bland. The boba balls were too sticky and clumped together. Not worth getting it from here.

Great Mochinut location!! This place is huge inside! Clean and fun to go to. Would make a good choice for a small bday location for your kid, with the ramen you make yourself, to the boba teas and donuts! There are even a few claw machines for the kids to try to win a plushie. I will definitely be returning.

Mochinut just opened today in Wesley Chapel, FL. They are located across the street from the outlet mall next to Astro Outlet and across from Raining Berries where Pho 54 and Sweetea use to be. They fixed it nicely with a new coat of pink paint and some cute comfy blue velour couches and a bunch of tables so great space. Everything was smooth sailing for the first day at 11am when they first opened. They have a good variety if mochiballs which are filled with their flavor. I haven't tried these yet and definitely want to. They also have mochidonuts. I ordered red velvet, cookies and cream, chocolate almond, and ube pebbles. They have a large variety of Korean hot dogs. I ordered the sweet potato mozzarella half and half. Lastly, they have boba drinks which I didn't order. Everyone was very friendly and I'm glad they are a lot closer than the USF location. They are also opening soon in New Tampa where Mahana Fresh was.

So my family and I walked into this establishment today. The ambiance is very welcoming. It's the new kid on the block, so it's not as pack (yet). We order some banana machi balls and strawberry funnel cake donuts. I can honestly say our children enjoyed the banana machi balls. The strawberry funnel cake donuts to me. There was nothing that wowed me. Truthfully, I wouldn't call it a strawberry donut. the only thing that made it a strawberry donut was the syrup layer over it. The drinks with the Bobo I can honestly say was one of the best I had in a while. I hope this isn't the first days of grand opening where everything is good and after 3 months they lose sight of why they opened. As long as they keep their eyes on the prize, which is the consumer, they will be an establishment to be reckoned with. For now, Kudos to Mochinut. Welcome to the neighborhood, and remember it's the consumer that keeps the doors open.

12 pack of donuts. The child couldn't wait to go get home to start eating them.

My 10 year old loves anything mochi! She was so excited to try this place, and luckily, it didn't disappoint. The service was fast and friendly. The flavors are all unique and tasty (we tried them all). I was a little apprehensive about Parmesan Cheesecake, but I'm glad I took the suggestion to try it. It was one of my favorites! One thing I would suggest is having menus that are easier to see and read from the line. Or, maybe have menus customers can grab on their way in? Also, add some Mochi ice cream to the menu as well... My daughter also appreciated the Pho 54 sign on the counter in homage to the original restaurant she loved so much.

I love this place. I was very upset to find an egg shell in my Thai tea /: I understand they offer toppings for ramen but maybe should be prepared in a different part of the kitchen

The flavors were okay just did not really match their names. The bbq definitely did not taste bbqy though. The meat was a major let down as it was very fatty and I had a bite of gristle on the first one. Not good. The salad was good, loved the crunchy things they put on it and the ranch was really good too. The alcoholic beverage was not great. It was super sweet and did not have much kick. The kids meals looked good, we got one for 99 cents but apparently wings do not count as an adult meal so we paid in full for the other (it was not super pricey, which is good). However, this place is just okay... There are many other great locations around that sadly blow this place out of the water.

She was sweet and very attentive. Much appreciated. I started out with a drink. The Jamaican Cowboy. WOW!! It was so good. The pineapple flavor was so good. Honestly, I wasn't even mad about the change of plans! One of the best parts of the experience is the atmosphere, my dad and I especially love coming here for the peanuts. Of course, you also can't go wrong with their iconic bread rolls and cinnamon butter; they are easily a highlight of the visit. For drinks, my mom and I both tried the margaritas; I highly recommend the Mango Margarita, and the Jamaican Cowboy Margarita was equally delicious and refreshing. For my main course, I ordered the Country Fried Chicken, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. A huge shoutout to our server, Destini, who was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout the night. She really made the experience seamless. Overall, it was a fantastic meal with great vibes--we'll definitely be back!
