Seemed like a quaint little place so I decided to go check it out! Although, I didn't have the best experience, I see room for management improvements. After I ordered ice cream, I noticed the lady serving not wearing any gloves while she was touching my cone (and the cone didn't have any sleeve on it either). I do have to say the amount of ice cream I got was great for the price. At this point I knew I wasn't going to eat the cone. This establishment has been around since my mother was a young girl and now I take my children. Excellent service, a family friendly environment, and a sweet updated digital jukebox! The food is tasty, the hot dogs legendary, everything is reasonably priced. The real star of the show here is the Ice Cream, there are so many flavors and sundaes etc. that it's easy to get lost and stick to a favorite, but the menu is worth exploring. Although Dices has new owners and a new location, they seem to have to retained excellent service and delicious products! The prices are fair and the shakes are much better than dairy queen or any fast food restaurants. They have dozens of flavors and seem to add more every so often. Definitely recommend. read more

What they do well is in their name: Ice cream and hot dogs. It's not a super fancy place. In fact, the overall vibe of the place is that it hasn't been updated since the early 1970s. This location is where this staple of Zephyrhills moved to in the past year, but it's clear their loyal fans move with them. I've never been there when it's been empty. The hard ice cream is of pretty standard quality, but where this location really excels is in the soft serve. Light, not too sweet, and addicting, it's hard to stop with just a small. It's especially good in their sundaes, which are made with real fruit. The Tin Roof Sundae is another great choice. Lots of chocolate sauce, peanuts, and whipped cream. The hot dogs are pretty basic if you don't know to ask for toppings. There are a number of free toppings (ketchup, mustard, onions, jalapenos) as well as some premium toppings for an additional charge. I haven't tried the sloppy joes or bbq sandwiches, nor have I seen them ordered, so it seems the hot dogs and fries are the way to go. While the overall decor is older, Dice's is really clean and kept that way. The ladies behind the counter (they seem to be the same two all the time) keep cleaning and chatting each time I've been there. Friendly service, great ice cream, and low prices. Good little quick stop but not the highest quality ice cream. The sizes are kind of small compared to the pricing but for a quick outing of ice cream with the kiddos it's a good spot. They do have several flavors available and it's great place for the children. read more

What started as a place to kill some time on our visit to Zephyrhills ended with a history lesson. We stopped here to kill some time as we waited for Zephyrhills Brewing to open. Great idea! My boyfriend said his family came here when he was kid and I totally understand why. They have been in business over 54 years and I can understand why they have good food, good prices and a friendly staff. Don't let the dated interior detour you from stopping in. The menu is nothing fancy but you can get a quality hot dog, fries, and a shake for less than $10. You can't beat that. If ever I'm in Zephyrhills again this will definitely be a stop. read more

They do not grill there food all of her equiptment is broken she made blizzard like shakes with her hands because her mixers obviously did not work she had no soft serve said machine went on fire. I ordered a burger my husband order a sausage both were microwaved the burger was so awful but I was polite the worst rubber I ever ate. Let's just say my drive home was very unpleasant my stomach hurt. Although the lady was very lovely she shouldn't try to keep a restaurant open that has no working Grill or appliances for shakes and ice cream very unsanitary was my thought although the place was adorable with a great vintage setting could be a great thing if she had working equipment. We used to go for ice cream to this place at there location on 301 and always very satisfied with the service and quality. We just went today and was extremely disappointed. We asked for large cones and received one scoop. Large sundae was in a small cup. The quality of the ice cream was poor and the service was very slow. It is nice little place to chill. They are quiet and clean with good AC. They have many mini games that you can play on the tables. The food is OK. The staff is nice and friendly. They made a milkshake, I forgot why the other costumer didnt want it. The lady just gave it too my friend for free coz its wasteful to throw it away. read more

Didn't even get a chance to eat here. I remember loving this place as a child but unfortunately the two women that were there were extremely rude to my fiancee over a simple question. The establishment didn't look very clean at all. Dust on the raised surfaces, even in the kitchen. 10/10 would not recommend if you don't appreciate rudness. read more
