I suspect the two teenagers who prepared the ground did not do an adequate job or not enough seed was applied, or both. I sent Mike Burke a picture of the lawn and asked him to stop by to see if anything could be done or additional seed put down. He agreed, but never showed up. Weeks passed and I got the usual run around. After I finally got a hold of him it was July and he agreed to reseed at the end of August. When that time came, I purchased the seed, but multiple attempts to get Mike Burke to even stop by have failed. One of his text messages read: "For short money how am I going to come back for free. Don't bother me". I ended up reseeding the lawn myself. In short, Mike Burke does not stand behind his work at all. He is condescending and his word means absolutely nothing. Landscaping is not a perfect science, but there should be some level of professionalism. Hopefully people reading this and considering hiring Mike Burke Landscaping will learn from my experience.

I had a very large Oak tree damaged over the winter with an extensive vertical crack down the…read moretrunk. When the wind blew you could see light through the crack. It was a frightening sight. I called Michael and he came, assessed the tree and decided it was possible to save it by securing the opening with rods. There isn't any other tree service I would trust to do the job. I have always been impressed by Michael's work. He came yesterday, did the climbing and inserted the rods. The tree is now as strong as it was before the damage occurred. I had my first good night's sleep in quite a while, not worrying if the wind was going to blow.
