I hired Bridgewater tree service and a guy named Justin came out to price the job. He seemed like…read morean honest guy at first but turned out not to be. He agreed to do the work and we agreed on the price, he came out one day but didn't finish and asked to come back I said sure. He did most of the job that took him about three weeks and it was a small job. On the side of my house he cut some trees down and left a big mess big logs brush disaster laying on the ground.. His shredder truck was broken so he told me he would come back in two days to finish. I never heard from him I texted his phone left message and left messages on Bridgewater tree services voice mail never heard a word back. This is bad business he has all old equipment that continued to break and a job that should have been done in a day dragged on for weeks. And never got finished if you look at the attached photo I had to rent a trailer from uhaul to clean up the mess he left and I am still not done. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY TERRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Newcomb is well equipped to take down a lot of trees quickly and safely if you have a clear path to…read morethem. If that is not the case, you are going to want to either press them for details or consider another provider. We had a 110 foot tree in a corner that was not accessible by their big crane. They estimated a hand climber and we were really happy about that. When they showed up they made a judgement call without speaking to us and took down our fence, dug up a tree and drove up our lawn without asking so that they could use a crane. I get it. Lower cost and safer. That's not what was quoted. It's the same price to them but ends up more to us overall. We had to wait longer for their climber and in the end they didn't use him and did a lot of damage to our yard. The yard repairs cost almost as much as the tree sadly. Press for details on the how on the estimate. Ask questions and be specific on how they will do it and how you will communicate if issues arise. Be present the entire time they are working. The GM is a really good guy but it is too late by the time you speak to him. If you have a straightforward job use them and they will do great. If not, consider elsewhere for higher touch.

The man who came to give the quote about the problem tree also advised regarding safety and health of other trees on the property and ultimately I ended up having them take three trees down. Their pricing seemed affordable to me, scheduling was easy and watching them work was a TREAT. They were like superheroes in their craft. I stayed indoors and watched from the windows stress-free and in awe as they easily took these massive trees down and chipped them up for removal. The men that I dealt with were polite and they cleaned up very well at the end of the day. Recently I recommended them to a neighbor who needed extensive tree work done as well and they were on site from 7am til after 8pm (in the dark!) working hard. I would definitely recommend them to others.
