In the middle of the night I woke up with the feeling that I had my ear plugged. An extended family…read moremember experienced the rare sudden hearing loss in her 30s and so I am super sensitive to this. Also, I experience a loud noise a couple nights ago and was worried I could have had loss of hearing from that. All of that led me to look on my insurance app for an ENT provider and found them. I gave them a call at 8:30am on a Friday and they were fully booked. I explained my situation and they were super kind by fitting me in. They took a look and it appeared that there was compacted wax blocking the ear. To rule out anything else did a hearing test. Overall, just appreciate the quickness in getting me in on a Friday which was a short day for them.

I've read some of the reviews on here, and can see how some people could see Dr Nunnery as…read morearrogant, or dismissive, because that was my initial take as well. I wasn't even sure if I wanted to go back for a follow up with him, however my injury was a workman's Comp case and he was who I was referred to. Why was I referred to a cosmetic surgeon, when I crushed and severed the end of my finger? Well because Dr Nunnery recognized the shortage of trauma surgeons in the Panama City area after the hurricane and stepped up, leaving his private practice, and working with Bay Medical, and I am extremely grateful this was the case. So back to the review, Being a trauma surgeon that is treating literally dozens of people daily for traumatic injuries, he is a no-nonsense, give it to you straight, and move on to helping the next patient kind of Dr. It's easy to interpret that as being arrogant, cold ,or uncaring......but that's definitely not the case. I went through 6 weeks of care trying to save my finger with Dr Nunnery, and I can honestly say now that he is one of the most caring Dr's I've ever seen (he's just extremely busy and wants to help as many people as possible). I would recommend him to anybody who needed his type of care, without hesitation!! He is a phenomenal Dr, and human being!

His demeanor was detached and I felt like herded cattle. The outcome of the procedure was what he wanted. Once he has you under anesthesia he does what he wants discarding someones desires. I now live with the scars and numbness that he completely down played as "occasional". His loud poor sense of overbearing humor doesn't help.
