The pizza has always been good from our experience. The ability for everyone to get their own favorite toppings is great. We especially like that they have dairy free cheese for my daughter. The service on our most recent visit was awesome. We came early and the employee was super friendly. She recommended we download the MOD app, which got us a free snack cake and already close to a free drink and/or pizza based on our purchase that day. My go-to is the Jasper pizza (sausage and mushroom) and I add arugula. My wife tried one of the new specials and loved it. We visited MOD Pizza in Brentwood last night early evening. The place wasn't too busy at all. The staff was friendly and even very patient with the guest in front of us who was making life difficult with her demands. We ordered two mini pizza's (one cheese/one with meat) and a mixed salad. It took a while to get our pizza's. Once we got them they were cold and my salad was absolutely drenched in dressing. It was close to not being edible. I am not even mad that I accidentally dropped it after taking a few bites...good thing I was standing right in front of the outdoor garbage can so it made my clean up process easy. Even after spending $48 on this excursion, I didn't bother to go get another salad. We used to go to this place and we couldn't remember why we haven't been back for a very long time...now we recall. I ordered delivery with my favorite picks of red sauce, bell peppers, olives, artichokes, red onions, tomatoes and plant based cheese with spicy sausage, It was phenomenally great! Even on a busy day, everyone here is cheerful and makes sure to acknowledge you! They apologize for the wait when ideally, it's not their fault. People just come in at the same time and some can be impatient! They're patient when you order, even when theirs a line behind you. They are all super kind, any time of the day. Anyway-- I love how they're able to do half and half because they do not skimp out on what you order! Love that they ask you twice what you'd like because they do give you fresh ingredients, unlimited options, and they'll fill your pizza up as much as you want and not complain. Love how our pizzas are very minimal but always turn out really good and full. It's a nice cozy spot, cozy corner in the plaza. The staff there is friendly, the inside reminds me a bit of a warehouse (that's the style that they were going for), and their online pickup is easy to follow Their pizzas always come out fresh. We've visited this popular MOD pizza located at a busy Brentwood plaza neighboring other stores such as Marshall's, Trader Joe's and Peet's Coffee. Service was great and the best part about their create your own pizza selection is that you can select as many toppings as you want which for us becomes a huge tower of pizza goodness! It's usually packed but you're sure to find a table as they have a lot and the ambience is nice which is very urban and modern. We love going here when each of us just wants something different and don't want to share a large pizza. For kids and adults alike, this would be your best option. Highly recommend!!! read more

Was craving MOD Pizza for a while and finally had it! Did a online order and it was very easy and quick to do. I did a "create your own" pizza since I can be picky with my pizza topics sometimes. We're grateful people and it's decent pizza, but it's really disappointing when you take time to make a custom pizza with all these fun toppings just to instead get a basic pepperoni pizza. My two pizza boxes were taped together yet only one pizza was obliterated. Which means they dropped my pizza before wrapping them up for delivery and just left it instead of making a new one. Also cold when arrived which means they didn't keep it on a warmer after it was cooked. I wouldn't have minded waiting for a new pizza to be cooked. Who wants a pizza where the toppings are smashed into one side of the box? This review is very overdue. MOD Pizza is an establishment that we frequent often, the kids love it. I want to first off review the staff who prepare and top the pizzas. Due to multiple allergies and food restrictions, I always ask the employees to change their gloves and they always listen. They respect allergies and preferences. I have never had an issue with my order at this location. On our most recent trip, the staff went above and beyond to help us out. Again, gloves changed and no issues preparing the pizzas, 4 total. My kids love the MOD Pizza stickers, however during this trip, they were all out. The employees searched all around trying to find some stickers. Eventually, they told the kids they were out, but one of the employees came to our table to apologize for being out of stickers. In exchange for stickers, he asked if our kids could have a cookie. No child will ever say no to a cookie. The cookies were delicious. Thank you to all the staff who give it their all everyday at this location. 5 stars all the way. read more

Beat food, best service, best prices and beat atmosphere for my granddaughter and I who are regulars here in Brentwood. They all know us by name and that kind of service is tough to find anymore. Who is ordering the ingredients now, last visit, no lettuce, I walked out...today's visit, they had lettuce but apparently the night crew decided that the early crew could replace napkins, Parmesan cheese shakers, etc because there were none and customers had to bother the line servers for these items. Ive been eating at Mod pizza for a long time throughly CA, and Nevada. The Pittsburg store is awesome, they make it the way you ask. I came to the Brentwood location here at 5411 lone tree way and the guy making my pizza said that he couldn't add the cheese the way they have added it at every other location I have eaten at. His name is Sebastian and apparently he is a sad excuse for a manager. Apparently I was asking him to go above and beyond asking him to scoop one full scoop of mozzarella rather then a pinch. It was actually the perfect size for lunch. The crust was ok, a bit crunchy, but not as good as their larger hand pulled crust. My pizza was good, but not great.
