We visited MOD Pizza in Brentwood last night early evening. The place wasn't too busy at all. The staff was friendly and even very patient with the guest in front of us who was making life difficult with her demands. We ordered two mini pizza's (one cheese/one with meat) and a mixed salad. It took a while to get our pizza's. Once we got them they were cold and my salad was absolutely drenched in dressing. It was close to not being edible. I am not even mad that I accidentally dropped it after taking a few bites...good thing I was standing right in front of the outdoor garbage can so it made my clean up process easy. Even after spending $48 on this excursion, I didn't bother to go get another salad. We used to go to this place and we couldn't remember why we haven't been back for a very long time...now we recall. The pizza has always been good from our experience. The ability for everyone to get their own favorite toppings is great. We especially like that they have dairy free cheese for my daughter. The service on our most recent visit was awesome. We came early and the employee was super friendly. She recommended we download the MOD app, which got us a free snack cake and already close to a free drink and/or pizza based on our purchase that day. My go-to is the Jasper pizza (sausage and mushroom) and I add arugula. My wife tried one of the new specials and loved it. Even on a busy day, everyone here is cheerful and makes sure to acknowledge you! They apologize for the wait when ideally, it's not their fault. People just come in at the same time and some can be impatient! They're patient when you order, even when theirs a line behind you. They are all super kind, any time of the day. We've visited this popular MOD pizza located at a busy Brentwood plaza neighboring other stores such as Marshall's, Trader Joe's and Peet's Coffee. Service was great and the best part about their create your own pizza selection is that you can select as many toppings as you want which for us becomes a huge tower of pizza goodness! It's usually packed but you're sure to find a table as they have a lot and the ambience is nice which is very urban and modern. Was craving MOD Pizza for a while and finally had it! Did a online order and it was very easy and quick to do. I did a "create your own" pizza since I can be picky with my pizza topics sometimes. This review is very overdue. MOD Pizza is an establishment that we frequent often, the kids love it. I want to first off review the staff who prepare and top the pizzas. Due to multiple allergies and food restrictions, I always ask the employees to change their gloves and they always listen. They respect allergies and preferences. I have never had an issue with my order at this location. On our most recent trip, the staff went above and beyond to help us out. Again, gloves changed and no issues preparing the pizzas, 4 total. My kids love the MOD Pizza stickers, however during this trip, they were all out. The employees searched all around trying to find some stickers. Eventually, they told the kids they were out, but one of the employees came to our table to apologize for being out of stickers. In exchange for stickers, he asked if our kids could have a cookie.
