Mod pizza never disappoints. I was craving pizza and this was actually my first time coming into this location. It was pretty busy and they had a huge online order to fill, so we ended up waiting for a bit on our order, but it wasn't too terribly long. I like white pizza so much and I was trying to cut down on the carbs for dinner, so I ordered the Cauliflower crust. It honestly still tasted just like their regular crust in my opinion. It was thin and crispy and I enjoyed it. The toppings were fresh and delicious and they have a plethora of fresh ingredients to add to your pizza for toppings. The staff was friendly and welcoming once you enter and they worked fast in order to fulfill your order as soon as possible. I definitely will come back. Manger needs to get a grip on this place before it gets too bad. The food is still traditional MOD pizza, "most" of the time. However, the place is trashed every time I go in there. Food on the floor. Tables dirty. Food all over behind the counter. The workers look scruffy. It doesn't bother my husband but geez it grosses me out. I can't stand it. And a few times I've smelt sewer when I walked in and I can't, I can't do that. I makes me think of other things too. Like I said the food is fine-but... Love MODs for fast & quality bites, but find certain locations to be a hit or a miss, but this location certainly didn't miss! Sometimes I find at MODs that some locations don't properly cook the pies so the middle ends up soggy. But not here! I piled my pizza up high per usual but didn't suffer from any soggy centers. covid safe as there are chairs in place to keep your distance from staff, every other table are closed, and there is ample space for social distancing. However we did find the booth a little dirty when we sat down so I'm not sure how frequent they are cleaning & sanitizing. the staff is nice & helpful. the girl there was very polite and complied with our lengthy request & was very friendly. Even recommended us to try the sriracha ranch which my boyfriend loved. only thing I dock off is that there weren't any labels to see what was what (however the staff was thorough in explaining) & doesn't have the full ingredient list like listed on the website. But other than that? This place is going to be my new go to location. & I'm excited to come back. read more

I was super impressed with Jesus, the front-line server who went out of his way to accommodate my family. He greeted us with a smile and even gave my son strawberries in a cup. Ordered through door dash twice. First time pizzas were great and correct. This time tonight they sent one pizza burnt to a crisp. It was completely black/brown and dry. It looked like they either forgot to put green peppers on it or they got so burned and rather than re-make the pizza they just threw fresh green peppers on top. My family and I have been devoted MOD Pizza customers since you opened in Friendswood. We all have are favorites and absolutely love them. Including the cheesy garlic bread and salads. Which deserved 5 stars. We have tried to be loyal customers during the COVID-19 pandemic but it is not working out. Our last 2 orders were wrong. 1st Order: The garlic bread was burnt and with no 3 red dipping sauces. We did not receive the pizza we ordered. Instead received a pizza we did not order. 2nd Order: My salad was completely wrong. In addition, it seems the topping are a little skimpy. We would truly like to be loyal customers during this difficult time. However, we will not pay for screw-ups. If MOD Pizza wants loyal customers then they have to be loyal in making the customers order correctly. MOD Pizza needs to get there act together!!! Yesterday me and the family came in about 5 o'clock and got greeted right off the bat, loved the atmosphere with all the employees they talked with us about our daughter's birthday and a young guy with crazy hair helped us out with the calories with the gluten free crust and made our family feel comfortable. The pizza is always consistent and good but they really need help in the customer service department. I would give 5 stars cause it's always yummy but it's hard to enjoy this location when you feel like a burden to the employees simply for giving them business. There's no personality and there's always straight faces when they're taking your order. They all seem angry and don't want to be there. It is very noticeable especially when comparing it to the workers at the location on Pearland Parkway who are loud and communicate well as soon as you enter. read more

This was my first trip to our new MOD pizza here in Friendswood. I've been a fan of MOD so I was glad when we got one here local. It was a Thursday night around 7:00 and I was kind of surprised to see how long the line was. I was glad that the community was supporting the new place but I was hungry! I got out my phone and went with a mobile order while I was waiting in line. All went smoothly....one margherita, and two custom pizza's ordered and paid for. I moved to the pick up area and the manager asked if I was waiting for an online order, I said yes and he quickly confirmed it with me and asked if I'd like to try some of their fresh lemonade while I waited (it was delicious). The two girls working the pizza oven were like a finely tuned machine.....pizza's going in, being turned, coming out, being cut, boxed or called out to customers. Our pizza's came out promptly I took them home and they were absolutely delicious. Crisp crust, fresh toppings, nicely boxed, just everything I could have hoped for. Tonight was a bad night. I place an online order at 7:33 and I received my food at 8:14. This is 25 minutes after the estimated time my food would have been ready. When I got to the restaurant there was a throng of people waiting for their food. The employees were frustrated. There wasn't a manager in sight. The restaurant was busy and they looked like they weren't ready for that. Staff is mostly kids and they were doing their best but their frustration was on their faces. The restaurant was a mess. I will not come here for at least a month in the hopes that they get their act together. read more

This review is for the new MOD location in Friendswood. My wife and I decided to try this place because of all the high reviews. I went on their website and ordered a Jasper pizza and a pepperoni pizza on the build your own, and a side of cheesy bread. I paid online and was provided with a time to arrive to pick up the order. My wife arrived on time and after standing in a long line approached the cashier and let her know she was there to pick up our order. The cashier was perplexed and acted like she had no idea of where our order was. The lady didn't say anything and went and got the manager. So come to find out their printer went down and was not "spitting out" orders. So instead of checking the computer to see orders, they rely on the printer, which was down and they had no idea about our order. My wife requested a refund but the manager advised she could have the order out in 10-15 minutes. My wife agreed to wait. After 20 or so minutes of waiting, the order came out and the manager gave my wife 2 small ding dong looking cakes for our troubles (really?). My wife left and brought the food home. The pizza, the Jasper, was absolutely terrible. I ordered it with spicy chicken sausage, cheese and mushrooms, and guess what it had? A lot of corn kernels, red and green peppers, raw purple onion, strong garlic, some chicken sausage (I assume that's what it was) and hardly any mushrooms. Epic Fail. The pepperoni pizza was "meh". The cheesy bread was absolutely horrible. Tough, too cheesy, and overwhelmed with garlic and strong herbs. I love garlic but this was ridiculous. So overall, a terrible experience. The sauces that expo should've put on them were missing, no Parmesan or red pepper packets, and the crust was like eating a piece of toast that snapped in half.
