We are glad it was the Newbergundian Bistro. We had to start with a Croissant. It was very flavorful, but it was bit soft, not the perfect crunch that we love. The fresh squeezed grapefruit juice made an excellent greyhound. The Bistro had my favorite...Escargot as a special. WOW. So good. We then shared the Potato Croquettes. The accompanying fondue was so good to dip the Croquettes into. We finished with a Ham and Brie Sandwich that was excellent, accompanied by crisp and hot french fries. My wife had the Grilled Five Cheese Sandwich with Mixed Greens. She loved it. Traci was terrific and helped us throughout the meal.

I tried the grilled cheese which my sister got too - yummy, but there's a sticky cheese on there that I didn't love. Greens that came with all items were weird. My family members each had a cappuccino that they said was really great, and I had a very rich, tasty cold brew. Both baristas were very polite. One greeted me with a smile, and the service was what you'd expect from a coffee shop, very speedy. The café is right off the road, but once inside, it didn't look that way. It was very quiet, with a chill vibe, and I had ample, nice outdoor seating. Next time I am driving through this area. I will definitely stop again.

Kopitos is tucked away in downtown Newberg, making it a fun little hidden gem. I noticed they advertise live music, so it's probably a great spot to visit in the late afternoon or evening. I would have gone 5-star, except I made the mistake of asking for the green salsa, and putting it all over the tacos. They ended up being *so* spicy -- much more than I was expecting, and honestly hard for me to eat. As soon as I told him it was my first time here we struck up a great conversation. He showed me what types of foods they had and after I settled on a lunch box that included a panini, salad and other goodies, he mentioned that they switch out their salads every Wednesday to mix up the variety. I settled on a Lasagne slice, a Prosciutto Panini and an additional one to go with my lunch box. Their side wall was adorned with pickled and jarred items as well as pastas the like. On the far wall had their beverages and my lunch box came with my choice of drink. I settled on some Italian orange soda. Not sure what it tastes like but I will tomorrow for my lunch. They also have panini press machines. The nice guy offered to toast my panini. I only have a microwave at work so using that will just turn my panini into a solid rock. Microwaves and bread don't do well with each other. Overall a neat experience indeed. I think on my next visit I'll bring my wife with me so that she can try other things. She has a better eye at finding great things to eat more than I do.

It's a food cart, but they have quite a few outdoor tables under awning or umbrellas. The only minor nit pick is that their menu has no prices on it.

We ordered promptly - at the time there was only one other party in the restaurant and they already had our food. Appetizer and drinks arrived within minutes of ordering and food arrived shortly after that. I ordered the nachos with chicken, which had queso and were a very large portion considering they were listed as a starter. All of our food arrived as ordered and looked delicious. However, by the time we were finished eating, the restaurant had started filling up. There were only two servers and unfortunately, our server had many tables she had to keep up with. It took her 25+ min to come check on us after we had finished our meal so that we could pay the check. It was so hot that it just made the experience miserable. I would definitely give this place another chance, maybe on a cooler day. And definitely when it is less busy.
