Always great service!! The food is always fresh and consistent and the ambiance is open and clean. The store is always kept up and clean. Great price and great food.

Jasper pizza that comes with mushroom and spicy chicken sausage.

My first time trying out MOD and it was great for the quick bake pizza concept in action. Although I'm usually a fan of the thick and chewy pizza crust, I really like their thin and crispy crust which kind of reminded me of pita chips and it went great with the mushroom and spicy chicken sausage topping that came with the Jasper pizza that I selected. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quick bite and are craving pizza.

I've always loved MOD. Went last night after not going for years and everything was delightful. The staff was very friendly and the inside was very clean. The staff made my pizza in a jiffy. I love that I can customize my pizza to my liking. Not to mention, the staff asks, "Is that enough" when they place the toppings on. My pizza was over the top yummy! I'll definitely be back!

I love this place. Make it your way how you like it. Bonus was the staff was super friendly. It makes a huge difference with franchise stores like this. People want to return that store.

Create your own...pepperoni/ spinach/ mozzarella/mushroom / vegan sausage...SO good! The crust was bomb!

Don't ask me how I have been living in AZ for a whole year and JUST tried MOD Pizza this past weekend. Ion know! But I'm glad I gave it a try. There were SO many options...from the crust to sauce to toppings. The variety and low cost reminded me of &pizza on the east coast. If you're ever in the DC area and like MOD be sure to hit up &. I ordered curbside and although there were a decent amount of patrons inside the guy popped up outside my window in no time with a hot pizza and a warm smile. I appreciated him not making me feel like he was doing me a favor by bringing me my food. Because hear me when I say a few places almost made me bless them out with that crappy attitude. Bonus points for the pizza tasting very good. If you're a fan of crust you'll love it. Will definitely be back!

One vegetarian pizza and one of my favorite combinations, bbq sauce, chicken, mushrooms and red onions, with three side sauces of course :-)

I've eaten here a few times now. It's a chain, so to be honest I'm initially inclined to resist going. Not anymore, ever. It's EXCELLENT!! Why? Read on.... When you walk in, you're always greeted with a smile and a warm hello. The layout is open, both in the dining area and behind the counter/in the kitchen. It's comfortable, relaxed, modern and homey feeling. It's great to see everything that happens with the making if your food, from selecting your dough or salad, all the toppings and the prep/cooking. This company clearly cares about their employees and are active in supporting the community. The topping options are numerous, amazing selection honestly. You'd be hard pressed to find more pizza or salad toppings anywhere! They are all fresh and they'll put on as much as you'd like, and never charge you more for it, it's great!! All the roasted toppings are cut and roasted fresh every day right in their own pizza oven, they're delicious!! The dipping sauces are also included and are yummy!! With literally millions of combinations, all fresh and great tasting, you can make a pizza or salad combination you'll love! And never up-charged for more toppings. Value - in my opinion, it's incredible!! For well under $10, you get a custom pizza cooked in a pizza oven with real fire, big enough for most people to either be stuffed or leave with a doggie box. It's awesome! YES!! Even though it's a chain, you'd never think so based on the genuinely friendly service, warm comfortable atmosphere and outstanding quality and tasting pizza and salads. If you've avoided MOD because it's a chain or just never tried it, GO, ITS REALLY GREAT!! Little known fact; MOD means "Made In Demand"

Please put some toppings on my pizza next time. I may need to starting going to Fired Pie.

Please put some topping on my pizza next time! Mod Pizza has been lacking with toppings lately! I may need to go to Fired Pie instead.

Simple pricing, build your own 11" stone-fire pizza and/or salad! They also have delicious "No Name Cake" and "Key Lime Time" cakes with filling. There's open-air indoor dining (when the weather is good) and outdoor dining, too.

We went to Mod Pizza Friday in Ahwatukee. This place is an awesome quick pizza place. My only non positive thing would be if your dead have your other employees help the kid on the line making pizza. We were standing there about 10 minutes before someone finally came over to help. It was at 9:30 at night so they were not that busy. Now on to the posting stuff. The staff was really friendly, the place was really clean. I have to say this pizza is really really really good. You gotta live all your toppings for the one price. The dough is amazing and they cook it perfect every time we go. I had a pizza with tons of veggies with a garlic rub base. They topped it with a balsamic and ranch drizzle for me. My husband had a meat and veggie and a ranch and the new herb(amazing new edition) drizzle. I also love there caramel pear ice tea it's so yummy!!!

Veggie pizza w/ almost every topping minus the olives and tomatoes. Topped with balsamic fig and pesto drizzle! Plus blackberry lemonade .
    Moncerrath N.

This is one of my favorite build your own pizza places to go to. Especially since I don't eat meat. I am able to add all the veggies I want from spinach, broccoli, jalapeños, carrots, green peppers, mushrooms, corn, etc. They also have garbanzos beans to add the protein you need but on the day I went they didn't have any. Other favorite thing is the sauces you can add at the end. I love the balsamic fig and pesto drizzle. You can also select Daiya cheese and gluten free crust. As you can tell this place is great for anybody Also can't forget the delicious refreshing blackberry lemonade with the sonic style ice that I love so much. Give this place a try for yourself.

This is great for a date night, catching up with a friend, or even getting a bite to yourself. We ordered a couple of sodas and the same slices we ordered last time, pepperoni and vodka slices. The slices were delivered in no time! They were hot and crispy! I don't know what happened, but the quality just wasn't there. I could not taste the sauce on my pizza. It was non existent. It was like eating pizza bread with cheese and pepperoni. The Vodka pizza had no detectable sauce on it either. It also tasted just like cheese bread. I don't know if its because of different pizza makers or the new standard, but I was disappointed. I was very impressed last visit and even made a statement that the Vodka slice may be my new favorite. I was a little let down this time around!

You can also get a whole pie of your choice. They grate fresh parm on all the slices which I thought was a nice touch. The girl at the register seemed very knowledgeable about all the pizzas and gave us lots of details and recommendations which we appreciated. First we got the green, di Parma, and the Phoenix. The green has pistachios and fresh arugula on it, I thought the overall flavor was too sweet and the pistachios weren't crush enough. The Phoenix was good, very honey forward and overall the flavor didn't stick out to me. The di Parma was a cheese pizza with procuttio and ricotta, overall a little plain to me. I think they all would've tasted better hot, but I understand that's not super realistic for a slice shop. For our second order we got the vodka sauce slice, which was for sure my favorite. First of all it was piping hot, and that elevated the whole experience. I thought the sauce was so flavorful and savory, and the basil made a perfect bite. I would go back for a whole pie of this! I really liked the prices here, we got dinner for less than $25 for 2. I wouldn't mind coming back to try some other slices and get a pie of the vodka!

I won't add to my previous review regarding the food, as it is still just as fantastic. And while the old location had its charm (mainly that it was more intimate and a bit quieter), the new location is overall an immense improvement. First of all, it is much larger, modern, and very tastefully decorated without losing as much of the intimacy as they could keep. For instance, the decor on the walls makes you feel like you are somewhat at home, with photos of the Spinato family and other tasteful finishes. Everything is comfortable without being too casual or formal. It's definitely more open concept now, and bar-lovers will appreciate the full bar, as the old location only had a tiny one. The covered patio area is much nicer, and with an eastern exposure, it should bake in the sun less than the old place's western exposure for most of their operating hours. We were seated at a half-booth, and the restaurant was very crowded because it was their first Friday night at this location. Nonetheless, we arrived early enough to be seated without a wait. I will say that the food took a very long time to arrive--40 minutes or more--but I'm chalking that up to the crowd and growing pains at the new location. Our server recognized us, welcomed us to the new place, and was as friendly as usual, though he didn't have much time for chat-chat with how busy they were. Very much looking forward to more visits to Spinato's at this fabulous new location!

Lil Capo Pizzeria 5.0/5 The Closest Thing to New York…read morePizza I've Found in Arizona Growing up in Upstate New York, I admittedly have high standards when it comes to pizza. After moving to Arizona in 2007, I've spent years searching for a slice that genuinely reminds me of home. While there are plenty of decent pizza spots throughout the Valley, very few capture that authentic New York style. Lil Capo Pizzeria absolutely does! Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. Sometimes simplicity executed well is the hardest thing to accomplish. Pizza: 5/5 Service was equally impressive. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. After selecting our slices, they quickly reheated them to perfection and had them on our table within minutes. It's exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizzeria--fast, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Service: 5/5 I also appreciated the atmosphere. Lil Capo isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. Instead, it has that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel where the focus stays exactly where it should--on making outstanding pizza. It's casual, comfortable, family-friendly, and somewhere you could easily become a regular. The pricing is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality of the pizza and the generous slice sizes, I found everything to be very fairly priced. Overall Finding authentic New York-style pizza in Arizona has been surprisingly difficult over the years, but Lil Capo delivers exactly what I've been searching for. Authentic New York-style crust Excellent sauce-to-cheese ratio Minimal grease Friendly, efficient service Fair prices Comfortable neighborhood atmosphere I've eaten pizza throughout New York my entire life, and Lil Capo remains the closest I've found to the real thing anywhere in Arizona. Whenever I'm on the west side of the Valley--or heading to or from a Cardinals game--I find myself looking for an excuse to stop in. Next time, I'm skipping the slices and ordering an entire pie. If you're a fellow New Yorker living in Arizona and craving a slice that tastes like home, Lil Capo should be at the top of your list.
