I went today during the afternoon almost evening around 6pm and compare to the mod pizza at the woodlands parkway this guys were not as welcoming as the employees from the other store. I love mod but this time wasn't really my best. I ordered a no name cake which usually they warmed up at the other location and they just gave it to me cold and with a really rude attitude they told me they don't warmed it. I ask another member and they did it with no problem at all. So I was really confused why the girl with two buns and glasses on the head was so rude to us... but I got really disappointed from this experience. read more

I think the food is good and the people are very nice. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the restaurant needed a good wipe down. There was not one table that did not have crumbs on it, many had dirty dishes and napkins on it, and the floors were disgusting and at least needed to be swept. MOD is easily one of the best fast food places I've ever been to! The fact that you can customize everything on the menu, and really friendly and helpful staff willing to help you put together a meal made coming here such an enjoyable experience! I appreciate that they have Gluten Free crust and also dairy-free cheese...when I ordered the staff was careful to ask if I have any specific allergies. When I got my pizza, the staff was awesome in asking if I'd like any additional sauces on top of my pizza or for dipping, which I really appreciate since a lot of eateries these days charge for extra sauces! Had never heard of or been to a MOD pizza before but glad I went. The concept is simple. Pick the size and style of your pizza, pick you sauce and toppings, they cook it, you enjoy it and enjoy it I did. There were toppings available that I would have never considered if they weren't offered and I did get one or two I had never considered. The dough was cooked crispy without burning it and all the topping were plentiful and fresh. The topping drizzles at the end were great. The fig balsamic really added a sweet and tasty addition. The only problem was there was some arguing between the staff members and yelling across the kitchen about perceived mistakes by assumably the shift manager. In the interest of full disclosure, this review is based on my first and only experience (so far) with MOD Pizza on August 29. That said, I ordered three pizzas online tonight and was quite impressed with the value, service, and quality of the pizza. (I don't give many 5-star ratings!) A few specifics: - Website is very user-friendly and provides infinite options to customize pizzas to get exactly what you want; - Prices are best around! I particularly appreciate not being charged extra for every topping. (Comparable pizzas from Crust Pizza - which I like - runs several bucks more). - My pizzas were ready less than 20 minutes after placing the online order; - Young lady at Pick-Up was very friendly and efficient -- and knows how to treat customers! - My order included a "build-your-own" veggie, a plan cheese, and a pepperoni. I love MOD Pizza and I love that they have a GF option. I have been to multiple locations and have ordered GF garlic strips without an issue (just a few dollars extra in cost), but this location refused to do it. They said the only way they could would be to just order a pizza with GF crust which would cost almost $11! That's triple (almost quadruple) the $2.97 price of regular garlic strips. Not okay! Please work with the other locations in the area and get on the same page! The rude undertone of the employees did not help either... read more

After ordering curbside delivery, paying online, and driving to the restaurant, I followed directions and called to let them know I was there. I called around six times over a twenty-minute period but no one bothered to pick up the phone. I finally called the company support line and my payment was returned. I like their pizza, but there are many fine restaurants in the Shenandoah/Woodlands area to risk going through this experience again. My compliments, however to the young woman who answered the support call. The food was great don't get me wrong. the only thing that wasn't great was the fact the first pizza they gave me was burnt. I tried a bite just in case it looked burnt. But it tasted very burnt and not like a normal mod pizza . Which is fine ok they can remake it right? I asked very nicely if they could remake it . The employee tried telling me that all cauliflower crust pizzas look like that because it's cauliflower. I told him everytime I come here I get cauliflower and it never looks like that. He said it shouldnt taste burnt. I told him it did. He then told me if I had remade it it would just get burnt again because that's how all cauliflower pizzas get. He seemed annoyed that it had to be remade. Which I get it's a burden . I get it's going to be crispier around the edges than a normal pizza. But it shouldn't be charcoal black. They remade it and I'm thankful for that I just felt there shouldn't have been those excuses. If it's black around the edges and completely underneath then it should be remade. While MOD Pizza has revolutionized the whole pizza dining experience, this particular location has strayed from the original concept, which must've included a certain amount of customer service. The employees and the manager, if there is one, at this location spend most of their time socializing with one another while ignoring long lines, the cash register and the store. After visiting the store many times I've noticed that cleanliness and busing of tables is regularly ignored. The store always looks like it has just weathered a tsunami of customers, regardless of the time of day. It is not uncommon to find no toppings or cheese within 2 inches of the edge of the crust, so I must ask, why do they have an 11 inch crust if they're only going to use 8 inches of it? Don't get me wrong, I've been to many mods and I love the pizza (at other locations) and the concept, but this store is an exception that needs to be reworked before they lose their base. I'm assuming the owner is absentee, Because the problems are glaringly obvious to anyone in attendance. I sincerely hope they fix this store, because it is the only one in the Woodlands area. The curly haired guy behind the counter yelled the B word about 8 times in under a minute of us being in the store. Then proceeded to tell me, your pizza is cooked enough and I already cut it so don't think I'm putting it back in the oven, then when I checked out he threw the receipt he wanted signed down on the counter and said, SIGN THIS. My only complaint is they will not melt mozerella cheese on top of the garlic strips but will give it to you cold in a container ... what's the difference .... also make sure you check your to go orders because twice I left and got back to work to find out my pizza wasn't even cut... no knives at work ... This is our new favorite pizza place! You customize your pizza exactly how you want it, from the crust and the sauce to the toppings. It's like Chipotle, but for pizza. They have a ton of toppings to choose from, so there is really something for everyone. They have all of the traditional toppings and also some really unique ones that you absolutely have to try, like seasoned corn (yum!). Every time we've gone, the food has been delicious and fresh. The service is also excellent, and I really appreciate that they hire local kids. It can get busy, but they move things along very efficiently. We've never had to wait long, even when there was a line. Last but not least, the price is great and you get a lot of food. The pizza is amazing the service is the worst. It was the worst service ever. They are busy because the pizza is great not because of service. I would suggest take out. I have been there three times and the same young lady who has no customer service skills that works there. There is a guy with reddish hair and a beard that is awesome.
