The service was great! They are indeed open and not permanently closed. They've tried to get this fixed, but somehow Yelp won't fix that.

The place looks worse for wear. We were the only ones in the building the entire time we were there. Ordering at the counter was fast since there was no line. They only had 4 bottle drinks to pick (coke, Diet Coke, sprite and water), and nothing for kids. The wait to get our pizza was over 20 minutes. Our table had crumbs all over it and there were napkins on the ground. At this point, I was sure I was giving this place a 1 star review, and would never come back. But then the pizza came out. I've been following this place since the owner was making pizzas at the Farmers Market. People there were are awesome. Once I saw the pizza and the under-carriage, I knew it was going to be good. This is a casual spot next to the much busier Republic Grille, it's so close I almost walked into the wrong door. I visited on a weekend lunch and it was very slow and I was the only customer for most of my visit. I ordered 2 slices and a drink. There is a combo which saves you some money weekdays I guess they have it on weekends as well. I chose the special and a meat lovers. For the drink, they have only bottled beverages. I much prefer fountain drinks. Both slices are pretty good, especially when just out of the oven however my only complaint is these thin slices tend to have a lot of crust....and not much toppings. I don't eat crust, so I finished pretty quickly. I guess I will be hungry for dinner earlier than normal. Customer service is alright. I would say my biggest complaint was that employes were sitting around when I first walked in since it was slow, but when you run a business right, there is always something to do. We also tried the Emiliano Special (their take on a Margherita pizza) and it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. Great customer service and the owner is a very chill and respectable guy. The ambiance is really chill but a little small, if they rush crowd comes, it'll be best to take your pie to go. The pizzas are massive!!!! It's like a true slice from New York, with amazing crunch on the crust and tasty sauce. I did think the supreme got a little too much oil, it was still "wet" in the center of the pie but overall a good chew. The garlic knots really wasn't my favorite, just needs a little more love when applying the seasoning and maybe a few more mins on the bake time. read more

We should all support this local family-run business while the young chef works to perfect his art. These aren't corporate pizzas; the chef is hand-tossing each crust and firing them up in a very hot pizza oven, he is experimenting with different toppings, and you can talk to him about it all. I am sure that if we can help him keep this place open, he will be ready for "one bite pizza reviews" soon. The good: these are big pizzas and giant slices with innovative toppings. The prices are reasonable because he sells by the slice. The bad: getting the exact timing right to give a pizza a good undercarriage without burning the pie is super tricky, as is balancing the proportions of topping to crust. Because this might be the best option for NY style pizza in the area. --- --- --- I recently discovered the great reviews piling up for Emiliano's and was thinking about calling in an order for dinner. But as I browsed the menu, I realized that it would be impossible to make a decision on which pizzas to order. But I had a bunch of family coming over to the house a couple weeks down the road, so I knew that I had the perfect excuse to essentially order "1 of everything" and make myself the ultimate sampler platter. I did not pick up the large order myself, but I was told that they have pizzas sitting out in the case and you can order by the slice, which is really good to know. And to be honest, had I known that, maybe I would have stopped in earlier, knowing I could have easily done a little sampling before my party. But fast forward to said party: as soon as the first slice hit my lips, it felt like very NY/NJ pizza to me. Razor thin and fairly simple, but quality. We literally tried just about all of their menu and I enjoyed pretty much everything. My favorite was the BBQ Brisket (Texan Saddle) and my least favorite was the White Trio. But the cheesy garlic knots trumped all of the pizzas for me. Don't ever come here without ordering those! I will definitely be back again, and next time I'll be dining in to enjoy the pizza (and knots) as fresh and hot as possible. read more

Customer service only happens if you yell at them and then they just focus on whoever it is that yelled at them...ordered online arrived 5 minutes after scheduled pick up and then had to wait over 30 minutes as the 4-5 customers stood around only being helped once they lost patience...then after 30 minutes I lost patience and went to the counter to find my pizzas had just been sitting on the rack so they were nice and cold by the time I got them Awesome job guys keep up the great work read more

Just made it out to their grand opening and had a FREE slice of Pizza. Not only was the staff incredibly nice, but the food was amazing. There are a number of tables to sit down and eat at. For Barstool One Bite fans, I'm going 8.1, which is high praise. Not a lot of space for sit down dining and doesn't have a restaurant feel, but for take out it's a no brainer. We had no idea that this new pizzeria was opened until I was stopped at the light on 2978 and look through the woods and seen their sign. Always looking for anything close to Long Island, NY pizza I have grown up with, our family finally tried it Friday. The pizza was absolutely spot on! We only ordered the sausage and pepperoni. This was a great place! My fiance is from New York and really hasn't had good NY style pizza since moving to Texas. This place was highly recommended when I polled people in the area on fb. Emiliano himself took our order, was super knowledgeable about the food. It was so important for me to get right since we don't eat gluten anymore and this was a cheat day for us since it's my fiance's birthday. We ordered the cheese pizza slices and a white trio slice, and garlic knots. Food was amazing, my fiance was so happy. Emiliano gave us dessert when we were leaving. He was so nice and we will definitely be back for the gluten free crust (and maybe another gluten cheat ). Price was reasonable, the place was super clean, and I love that they ferment their dough. 10/10! read more
