Eight people in front of me turned into a 20 minute wait to finally get to the counter to make my pizza. Once there I was greeted with the some genuinely apathetic service. These workers clearly had no urgency or desire to get their guests food to them in a reasonable time. After the most leisurely pizza building experience I was awarded another 5 minute wait at the register by myself. A worker wearing earpods finally accepted my payment. Granted, she was only wearing one earpod so at least I had half of her attention. After paying and another 5 minute wait to find someone to refill their water cups, I was then awarded a 20 minute wait to receive 2/3rds of my order. I received my "cheesy garlic bread" 15 minutes later. Although, I was incorrect in my assumption the whole thing was "cheesy" and "garlic", only about 1/2 was cheesy with the rest being "garlic bread". This was on a Sunday afternoon, while most restaurants would prepare for a busy service with ample, motivated workers, MOD chose to do the opposite. read more

I visited MOD today and I wasn't feeling to good about my interview, the manager Ashley R came and spoke with me ( she didnt have to do that ) I asked her various questions being that she is on a managerial level. She was super honest and sweet. Although I am in a different field than her she was able to give me pointers from a hiring managers point of view. I won't lie she made me feel better I had a better understanding about the interview process.. If i'm paying to eat something, I want it to look appetizing and not like someone just pulled it out of their A%#. Came by this evening with my family and we were pleasantly surprised! There was a line (not too long) which is expected, but I prefer that our wait was before ordering as opposed to after because our pizzas were ready about 5 mins after I paid. They looked and were delicious, we couldn't stop talking about how we've been missing out! The lemonade was really good as well. The workers were super nice and professional. Seemed like a few of them were new but they were working hard and I can always appreciate that. We will definitely be coming back more frequently! read more

I have nothing to complain about. I love that you can customize your pizza as you see fit (including gluten free crust and vegan cheese) and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I have only been to this location twice, but it is always clean, always friendly, and there is little to no wait. BE PREPARED TO WAIT FOR AGES!!! First, we waited in line for at least 15 min on a Monday afternoon. When it was time to order, the lady at the counter kept messing up what I wanted. It was pretty simple: one mini pizza and a custom Mod pizza! Yet she tried to prepare 2 Mod pizzas..... when it was time to wait, be prepared to wait an hour OR MORE, especially if they accidentally burn your pizza, which seems like it happens frequently since you notice at least 4 pizzas just sitting in the corner. You would think they'd prepare your pizza first since they accidentally burned it. BUT NO, THEY WILL FORGET TO MAKE YOUR PIZZA AFTER MAKING YOU WAIT AN ADDITIONAL 20 MINUTES! THIS IS A JOKE! 1 star because the pizza was not bad, but not worth the ridiculous wait. Staff already looked overwhelmed and stressed out. Can't even imagine what this place would look like on a weekend. This is a review based on their inability to provide a service not on the food. I actually like the pizza but I've only been there one time before. Tonight I ordered on-line and the process seemed easy. It gave me a confirmation and told me to pick up at the online window at the designated time. I showed up and then waited. And waited. Then I inquired a few more times about my order and showed my receipt to which I got confused looks. So then I decided I would just get my money refunded and go get food elsewhere since it was apparent they were very disorganized and unable to satisfy the customer. I then found out that they don't really understand their online system and do not know how to refund money either. And the manager was also not even capable of just having the pizzas made now or maybe offering a cash refund or a gift card or anything. So I will likely have to have my credit card company refuse the charge. Yay me! That's always fun. Anyway I doubt I'll be back and wouldn't be surprised to see them out of business based on the number of people that were leaving while waiting in line. They need some good organization. I will not be back to this location ever! All the workers were so slow. There was a family in front of us and the time it took them to make about 3 pizzas was ridiculous. I had heard that MOD Pizza's supposed to be really good. Hopefully, this location doesn't represent the entire brand, because I was very let down. The customer service left lots to be desired. The three employees were very unprofessional, with their uniform, negative talk, etc. The counter space where they were making the pizza and the floors were covered in toppings. A little sweep throughout the day doesn't hurt. We love the Valencia location and we're super juiced that they brought this to NorCal but dude, the people that work at this location, specifically the chick with curly blonde hair, RUDE. Does not smile, does not say hello and has attitude. We were in front of her for awhile waiting and she just looked at us and kept on doing other things right in front of us. No acknowledgement. We were in front of her for a good 5 minutes before she stood in front of us as if she was finally ready - but still with a blank expression that slightly bordered on irritation with us for having the audacity to come in there wanting to order and eat food. Felt guilty every time I asked for extra toppings- as if there was a silent exhale she was trying to repress. The guys that worked there were nice to my family though. The food was as good as SoCal locations. They get one star solely on their services. I'm from out of town, so we don't frequent this location. I've been here, maybe twice, in the last year. And there's always something wrong with the order. It seems to be the online orders that's the problem. Today, I received a free pizza voucher for a messed up online order. And my family that I was visiting while here in Vallejo, has had at least 2 free pizza vouchers in the last year for messed up online orders. So frustrating. read more

Im glad there's finally a MOD in this area but only giving them a 3 star for the ssllloowww service. Every time i come here, it takes 15 mins to place your order and another 15-20 to get your food...longer if they are super busy. Not sure if they are understaff. At one point no one was cooking the pizza and about over a dozen pizza sat at the counter before they were placed in the oven. They definitely need to work on that. read more

The two stars are solely for the fact that the pizza is good. Otherwise, the service at this particular location was abysmal. 30+ minute wait just to get up to the counter to order! They have one guy making all the pizzas, and he's obviously overworked and taking it out on the customers. We where briskly asked "is that what you want on it or what!?" when building our pizza, which was lovely to hear after waiting so long just to be able to order. The restrooms where also completely out of toilet paper and seat covers. Clearly they need to work out a better system at this location, as I've been to other mod pizza restaurants and never had problems like this.
