My mom passed 2 years back and for her birthday we try and celebrate her by enjoying foods that she loved. Cooking or dining out. This year my "brothers" came over and surprised us to hang out for her birthday. She loved Corona so they brought a case and then they suggested we order Napoli's since she loved it and she actually used to work at the one in Vallejo. We had the standard Mom pizza = Tony's special extra cheese and add garlic, it was like the first time I had that pie, it was flavorful and well distributed with toppings! Crust was great too! We also got a Ham pineapple and jalapeno that was off the hook and personally one of my favorites. The bacon spicy bread was insanely good and was thoroughly crushed quickly! Will be going back soon and not such a gap in time, forgot how much I enjoy their pizza! read more

This was our first try. We ordered meatball sandwich, veggie sandwich, and medium sausage and medium tomato thin crust pizza. Pizzas were soggy in the middle by the time it was delivered, but the flavor was there. My boys and vegetarian hubby approved! Have been getting my pizza fix at the Benicia location of Napoli Pizza for as long as I can remember and even though I've moved out of the area, this place still tastes like home to me. I can always count on this location to have friendly service and quality pizza. The Benicia location of Napoli Pizza is located in a small strip mall on Columbus Parkway right across the intersection of the CVS. They have a small, free parking lot that is shared by the other businesses in the shopping center. Parking has never been a challenge to find, which is a plus! My family and I typically call in our order, and the estimated time for pick up has always been on point (or close) to their approximation. Our pizzas are always fresh and smelling amazing upon pickup. My family and I have some staple favorite pizzas we've come to order over the course of our patronage, but our most recent favorites include the: - BBQ Chicken Pizza - Sausage, Green Pepper, and Onions - Pepperoni and Pineapple (yes...pineapple belongs on pizza) The pizza can be a little bit on the pricier side, but we haven't had an order to date that has made us feel like the price wasn't justified. We ordered a large custom veggie pizza and a medium margherita. I am very disappointed. We've always enjoyed pizzas from Napoli's but have now been disappointed with our last three orders. I kept thinking it was a one off. Our order totalled $98 with tax and normally would have not minded if the pizza was good. The veggie pizza had red sauce and mozzarella. Those were not part of my order. I had ordered pesto sauce and chose feta cheese. But because it had double the sauce and extra cheese, the pizza was very soggy. It was like the person making the pizza made an error but proceeded to add whatever I ordered anyway. The Margherita had burnt roasted garlic. We couldn't return to the store. We were already hungry and pressed for time to go to an appointment. I'm sad to say that Costco pizza tastes way better than what I had tonight and the past two orders. read more

Best pizza anywhere since I began going there in 1956! I still remember walking there for our Friday night "Catholic" olive & mushroom pizza. My father was very nervous about letting me carry it and it was 2 more years before he did!! Over the years very little has changed in the food. The decor still has a few items from the 60's when the Messina family ran the place. Maybe I'm biased because My mother was raised in the apartment above in the 1920's? NAH!!!! It IS the PIZZA. The Benicia Napoli will be my new go to for pizza delivery! The online menu was very easy to navigate. We ordered a medium Hawaiian, a cousin Vinny's calzone, cheesecake, and tortellini. Total after delivery and tip came out to around $70. This would be enough for 4-5 people. Delivery fee is only $1.75. Forget DoorDash! The pasta comes with your choice of sauce. I didnt see the options listed. I got a call pretty soon after putting on my order to clarify that. They offer red, pesto, or meat sauce. No white sauce for the pastas. The Hawaiian pizza was packed with toppings. They did not skimp out. Each bite had ham and pineapple. The calzone was also large. Larger than the size of my hand. It came with a side cup of marinara sauce. Also packed with meat. The pasta was also hearty and fresh. It's tasty food that's affordable and local. I loved the pizza crust- it was sourdough crust with pizza oven baked on outside and airy dough on the inside. It's rare I find what I consider a great pizza crust. Veggies were great. Don't judge the food by the lack of ambiance or seating. I guess this is more of a take-away place. I didn't know this as it was our first time at Napoli Benicia. There is plenty of parking here within the plaza they share space with. There is not a dining area here so plan to pickup and go. The Quest continues however, but for now, we love that crisp crunch but not burnt, with a abit of a bite to it. The mozzarella still was in shape and not a pool of of melted cheese.
