I was there this weekend with a variety of items. This was first time selling anything. I was…read moreholding on to things I was not using and the emotional value of them. I don't have children to pass them on to. I'm sure many people experience similar feelings when inheriting pieces. Neil and his team were straightforward and explained everything clearly. Their machine validated the gold content without any damage to any of my pieces. I can now take the proceeds to purchase a piece I would like that will give me joy, and not sadness, bc it belonged to someone who has passed on. 5/5 recommend.

I brought a lot of gold and silver pieces to this place, thinking that I would get good pricing for what I was bringing to them, but no! Less than what the scrap gold was worth at this time and I didn't get credit for the many gems inside the gold like diamonds and emeralds and sapphires, etc. etc. They turned away the plated silver but now I learned that they actually buy that, but they just told me that I just needed to have them trash it. They did, but they probably capitalized on that as well! When it came to the silver, I got less than market value at the time. Only because the buyers, will tell you that it's because "they don't have access to their actual profit for 30 days. These guys are such "shyster's." Stay away if you know you want what your metals are worth! JUST GONNA DROP OWNER RESPONSE HERE SO I CAN COMMENT ON IT. THIS HERE: Brenda Porter let me tell you the truth like I told you when you came into the store everything I buy I have to hold for 30 days. It has to go through the police department to make sure it's not stolen. This is called a state law. Maybe you break the law, but we don't we buy things based on the resale value unfortunately as I told you when gold is almost at $5000 a lot of items are not as resealable as they once were how is that being decisive? How is that being rude? I simply told you the truth we have to buy things for less than the scrap goal value I agree what did I do? That's so wrong that you leave me a one star review very disrespectful on your end, especially from a local MY RESPONSE: You have no idea what you're talking about Neil. I infused this review with a response that you made to me last night about the 30 day thing. But, I actually traded this stuff into you more than 4 months ago, so go ahead and backpedal on that and make it sound like you're not a bunch of shysters! Let me make this clear as well, I did not call you before that visit that I brought those sale items/precious metals etc in on the trade day!! So go ahead, defend that as well. You are literally making my point and only making you Look more like the liar that I contend that you are! If you want to try and defend something, unsuccessfully, tell me why you didn't give me credit for all the diamonds and gems that were in the jewelry pieces that I asked your buyer about at the time?? Said he would get back to it, but he didn't. You work so tirelessly at defending your company and your practice that you lose time and dimension! @ Joe's response, you also do not know what you speak about. It's reflected in your response! Actual one carat, and 2 carat, plus stones... As for the rest of it

In days of old, the word pawn is an important word from the Roman era that meant "platinum," and…read moretranslated to cloth. In these times it was not gold and silver that were important to the people, but clothing. The working class would pawn their clothes to meet their needs. These days, no matter what class of society we come from a pawn shop is a place to exchange goods for one's needs. While it may not be clothing that we find as useful as the Romans, many other things can be pawned or sold to meet your needs . Come on in and see what treasures that have been lost and need to be found. Do you remember when we used a hand shake to make a deal? Can you take someone on their word of honor? These days, our world has been shaken up, everything cost more than it did before. Where are we to find the stable footing for our future. You might want to consider a more tangible asset. For all these panning services this is the business to use. If you are looking for something different to put that fiat currency into. They carry a wide variety of silver, gold, platinum to trade those dollars into . If your into historical items come and discover what "moneys" of the United States used to look like. Many coins from around the world are for sale too. These purchases must be made with cash though. So if your looking to buy gold, silver and old coins bring green cash for the exchange. Are you looking to trade in some old coins. Do you need some money on the spot, then this is the place to be. You will get a fair market value for what your selling? The owner posts the daily values for gold and silver spot trading too. Your going to get the best integrity from the employees here whether buying or selling. When you come in ask for John he is an enjoyable human that loves what he does! He was the guy that aided and still serves all our coin purchases. He still believes in a hand shake as someone's word. Let's have a great day now!

I had a really good experience at Las Vegas Coin Company. What makes this place interesting is that…read moreit's actually two businesses in one location, which you don't see very often. On the coin side, it's by John, and he was honestly great to work with true gentleman very patient and knowledgeable. He took his time going through our coin collection, explained things clearly, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. You can tell he knows what he's doing, but more importantly, he treats you with respect, which goes a long way in a space like this. The other side of the shop is more focused on toy collectibles. We didn't get a chance to meet the owner there, but the woman working was friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe was positive. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're into coins or collectibles. Good service, knowledgeable people, and a unique setup having both businesses under one roof.

What a terrible woman running this company. I went to her estate sale on 9/26/25 and it was one of…read morethe worst experiences I've ever had. I asked the price of an unmarked item, and she told me I'd have to "come back later" because it was being sold as a set -- yet she couldn't even provide the price for the set. When I said I wouldn't be back (a little snippy, sure), she acted like that was a huge offense. Later, I asked if she knew the size of a bed frame (full or queen). She didn't know, and then randomly asked if I had been to her sales before. I said maybe, but I just go to sales listed on estatesales.net and didn't even know the name of her company. When I came back downstairs, she suddenly asked my name. After I told her, she pulled up some old 8-year-old Google review from a person with a similar name (review was from Nicols Doll) and started accusing me of being that person and writing the bad review. I told her over and over it wasn't me, but she kept confronting me aggressively -- even following me into the garage to continue yelling. I finally blew up at her and walked out, but she chased me outside, screaming that I'm "banned from her sales" and now she "knows what I look like." Other shoppers witnessed the whole thing, and several walked out. One woman even pulled me aside afterward and told me she's seen this same nasty behavior from this woman at other sales. This woman is odious, unprofessional, and downright unstable. She needs to get her hormones checked and find some medication because no professional business owner should treat people this way. I wish I could give this review 0 stars. Please proceed with caution attending any sales by this company.

I recently had my home appraised with this company. It was described as being well maintained with a ONLY a mention of granite!! The pictures they took did NOT in any way do the home and yard justice! A picture of an old smaller hot water heater with cloth straps and stickers all over it, which was NOT MINE ,was included in the appraisal! Mine was a top of the line Bradford White 50 gallon only a 18 months old with metal straps. I was disgusted and contacted them about all this and requested another appraisal which was denied. Two patios were not mentioned nor were they drawn in with a dotted line on the groundplan. The lender would not have been favorably impressed.... Every realtor that saw my home believed the appraisal would come in higher than the listed price! Two homes smaller than mine, with smaller yards on the same street and same block with nowhere near the upgrades as mine sold the day after mine for just $,6,000 less. Another smaller home with a half patio, again with far less done to it, sold a few doors away for $13,000 MORE just 4 days after my appraisal. MY ADVICE: Avoid this company like the plague, and find out who the borrower's lender is if you are selling , because the lender chooses the appraisal company! Think about that for a minute...
