Market place Dental told us our dental insurance company does not cover Periodontal Cleaning. Made a call to Humana and asked if that was the case. Humana told us they asked for the supporting documentation from Market Place Dental and they never responded By submitting proof! Who do you believe? So I will be a thorn in your side until you can get the job done! Market Place Dental told us the insurance companies always says they never receive the paperwork. Strike 3 for us. This has been going on for 8 months!!!

The root canal took an hour during which I felt zero pain. YEAH! I was given detailed instructions concerning what to take when the numbing wore off, what to watch for and how to take care of the temporary filling until the permanent one could be done. (FYI, they do a temporary so that if there is a problem, they don't have to remove a permanent filling to address the problem) They told me to wait for 2 weeks to get the permanent fill, but I have to wait 3 weeks due to the possibility of jury duty during week 2. The receptionist was SUPER helpful (after calling a bunch of other places in the area, I can say that her friendliness really stood out - she truly seemed to care.) Not only did they get me in for my urgent issue, I was able to be seen quickly for a routine cleaning (vs waiting weeks for some other offices, or not even being able to get a hold of an actual person).
