My first impression was that I was walking in one of the Magical Hallmark movies and I found this shop. I explored every inch in the shop since I am fond of unique kitchen supplies, gadgets and utensils. I found them all in this shop.. They have lovely and stunning ornaments too. The shop was very organized.The staff were so sweet, welcoming and friendly. I wish I could spend longer time there. The Hen's Kitchen Shoppe is a hidden gem in Clairmont .I will be back very soon.

After breakfast, I walked on over & it is exactly what I pictured it AND MORE! Cute, darling kitchen items, gadgets (some I would not even know what to do with) and cooking paraphernalia abound! I couldn't stop staring & just wonder in complete awe. Wow! I barely had time to process & check everything out do the photos posted are just cursory pictures, for now. Must stop by another day when Hubby is not in a hurry or take one of my girlfriends to explore this shop & all of what Claremont has to offer. There's also items from small businesses around which I so love! As for their pricing, I thought it was pretty fair. On the items I personally bought - I felt like everything was face value but I noticed a $1-$2 price mark up which isn't terrible. The store is a pretty decent size but on weekends, especially, it can get pretty crowded so just a fair warning.

I decided to chance it and drive 50 minutes in traffic because I really needed to bag for a trip. I get to the store around 3:40pm and everyone in the store was nice but assumed the person I talked to put the item on hold. They checked multiple times and unfortunately the item was out of stock. This experience made me feel like the associate could have put the item on hold but didn't want to. I understand it was the last one in stock but I assured the associate I would buy it that day. It's just really upsetting since I wasted my time and gas just to come to this store.

My gosh, this store did not disappoint and is huge, like the other locations I used to visit. The store is full of a variety of home goods for your bedroom, kitchen, living room, and backyard. Prices are really good and not too expensive, which is a plus when everything is increasing. The quality of the goods is also great, and they even have well-known brands like Oxo, which is one of my favorites. The cashier was also extremely nice and friendly. We had a conversation with her, and she was great with my mom. When I am in the area, I will def make another stop or just take the drive to get the newest addition to my house.

However, since becoming a plant person in 2020, I decided to turn my little office space into a garden and better feng shui as well. So I was SURPRISED to find this hidden gem in Claremont on our lazy Saturday afternoon stroll in the neighborhood. Once I stepped inside of the nursery, I was so excited that I explored every single corner of the nursery to make sure I did not miss anything they have to offer!!!
