Stood at the counter ready to order for 5 mins as an employee who was seemingly doing nothing kept leering over at me as if I had a wronged her. Finally I got my order taken. Cool, whatever. Walked over to fill my water cup, was greeted by a frat house plate pile and garbage stack up beside the water machine. Dirty and disgusting cabinets and countertop. Okay, cool. Figured I'd fill my time waiting for my food by using the restroom. Went to the bathroom, was greeted by the trash can overflowing and napkins all over the floor. Dirty sink and toilet. Right on, not really. Went back to sit down, ended up waiting a seemingly awful long time for a sandwich. The employee apologized for the wait. Thanks, brotha! First bite of Mac and cheese, stone cold Steve Austin. Colder than Michael Beasley on the Knicks. First bite of the sandwich launched basil pesto sauce clear across the room and shot through the wall into the noodles and company next door. Nobody was hurt. Now let's take a step back. Jokes aside, I spent $16 on this sandwich and tbsp of brick ass Mac and cheese. I left questioning my tolerance. Am I their fool? Do they want me to dance around and sing too? The food is decent but the service at this location was soooo slow. Like 20 minutes to get our food, when this is a fast casual restaurant and we were the only people in there beyond one other couple, so it wasn't like they were busy with any online orders or customers. The booths were all very dirty, and there was a cup of dressing on the floor. The concept of this place is decent, needs some tweaks to get it to becoming well oiled but the food was decent. read more

Food: The Thai coconut salad was phenomenal! The dressing had a great tasting flavor and the toppings were yummy. I liked the sweet potatoes. The chicken was good but dry in some spots. There were also 3 or 4 small pieces of wilted lettuce that should've been taken out. Service: The cashier was nice and patient with us, as we weren't sure what we wanted to get for a few minutes, and the food came out in about ten minutes. Ambience: Lots of plant decor that was pretty, and it was pretty quiet when we were here! Overall: Great spot for a quick stop for lunch and the prices are good. read more

I live a stones through away from a Modern Market in Arizona, but sometimes you crave something light and healthy. Modern Market is always fits that bill. I ordered a protein bowl. The highlight of the bowl Was the sushi grade seared tuna that I added as my protein. My sides were sweet potatoes and mixed greens, both unremarkable. Delicious quick, healthy lunch! Fast casual spot that sells bowls, flatbreads, and salads. Really yummy, fresh ingredients and great portion sizes. A little pricey for lunch at ~$15 a bowl but ingredients are definitely high quality. Tried the ahi tuna summer salad and a customized salmon bowl with Mac and cheese/sweet potato. I love Mod Market and my husband stopped into this location on our way home from Estes Park. The food as always was delicious, but the restaurant was FILTHY! 1.The seats in the booths looked like they hadn't been wiped down in months. 2. the bathroom was disgusting, the sink specifically hadn't been cleaned and the mirror was so dirty you couldn't see in it. 3. The screen that shows orders in the kitchen had grease all over it. 4. The icing on the cake, when I when to throw my trash away, I got a glimpse of the kitchen floor and one of their ovens, definitely hasn't been cleaned since they reopened from COVID. I would give a 5 star rating, however, twice I have ordered the Thai Coconut salad via Door Dash, & twice their staff made critical errors. First order, they left out the dressing which is really good, the second time they put chicken in the salad instead of Tofu. I always opt for a salad with a protein and always find myself pretty full afterwards. They have so many choices including veggie, chicken, beef, and salmon. Their veggies are crisp and fresh unlike the salads I make at home. The service is usually pretty fast as well at this location. Even at lunch time I find myself being served within 5-6 minutes. Their staff is super friendly so make sure to leave them a nice tip. Lots of seating for any sized group. The price is a little expensive but you get what you pay for. They are moving their way back up. From stellar to the cellar back in 2017 with room many menu and recipe formula revisions they lost me as a regular. I would still got to get the Rocket egg breakfast sandwich which they had not messed with and it was just perfect the way it was designed. But it was hard to remember which days it was available until 10:30 am and which until 11 am. I would love it to be available until at least 11 every day, preferably noon. It makes a wonderful early lunch option. And they had very little other options for that time slot. Neither sweet waffles nor heavy sandwiches nor spicy salads ever seemed right to me. So today I got there too late for The Rocket but I was happy to see the new (since I was last there) Avocado toast available as an "all day breakfast." Works for me. I got it, I liked it, though perhaps not my fave avocado toast in town but absolutely worth doing again. The cooks were just standing there doing nothing. Complete joke of service and the amount paid for the amount of food you get is so far from worth it. I had a hard time deciding not only because everything looked so good, but because they have an option to do half and half (pick from soup, salad, sandwich or pizza), which almost made the decision harder. Ultimately, I ordered a salad with chicken, corn, avocado and cotija cheese with a side of green child chicken soup. My sister ordered a salad with apples, goat cheese, dates and roasted potatoes. Both were delicious and the portions were huge! I'm definitely glad I ordered a half salad- it's absolutely enough for a meal. I didn't give Mod Market 5 stars because it was crazy busy (not the restaurant's fault) and the layout made it difficult to move around the restaurant.
