I had them remodel my bathroom. They do not know how to tile. They left several chipped tiles in the shower. They put something on it so it wouldn't be so noticeable. The caulk is so thick every day hunks of it come off. When they tiled the wall where the spout for the tub is they never cut a hole for the fixture, which isn't straight. They never attached the plumbing for the shower head and the tub knobs to the wall they are loose in the wall. When they painted, they never used drop cloths. I had paint all over the new floor, and on the wainscoting. Then they hung the new medicine cabinet on the wet wall. Who puts a new tile floor down with cracked tile, Cube Carpentry does. I am writing this to let anyone know, who is considering renovations to their home, how amazing Cube Carpentry is and why you should hire them for your next project. A little context...my husband and I recently hired Cube to install wainscoting throughout select areas of the house (entryway hallway, floor to ceiling accent wall in the living room, and half wall in the dining room). Also painted bedrooms and hallways. Phase 1 of the scope of work. Phase 2--a finished the basement. They installed framing, insulation, drywall, added columns, floor to ceiling trimming, doors, electrical for recessed lighting, a fireplace, a new sump pump, and HVAC. Now anyone who is a licensed professional can execute this work BUT the real difference is the craftsmanship and skill/expertise they bring. Yelson, does not get back to you when you ask him questions in a timely manner. I asked for a proposal for my basement and wasted close to two hours meeting with him, making drawings, emailing and calling him and after 3 weeks zilch, na da, nothing. If he has bigger fish to fry, he should be courteous to future customers who might use him again for other $$$ projects around the house. read more
