I started seeing Alyssa maybe two and a half years ago. I was starting to experience consistent bladder sensitivity - like I had to pee all the time - I was 23, maybe 24 at the time which easy worrying for me. After my first consultation I knew this place was the place that would help me Reverse all of my unknown issues. Turns out after straining my hip flexor in track and tearing my MCL playing football back in higj school caused some pretty traumatic issues that came back to haunt me due to lack of knowledge and guidance. Two a half years later I've learned how much my body was compensating for the lack of strength and balance necessary to support my lower back. Here I am now, typing this with no back pain - just got back from a great gym workout - yes I am still reversing a few issues, but the trend is up. All because of Alyssa and her team helping me and guiding me in the right direction towards a better, more comfortable and enjoyable life. I've learned so much not only about how the body works, but how to correctly take care of myself when it comes to daily habits and recovery systems put in place to effectively reduce or eliminate pain in my spine and nervous system. Dr. Alyssa Kurth is extremely knowledgeable about many areas so you get a better treatment and you're being totally cared for. Dr. Amelia is wonderful too and a fantastic addition to the team. I started seeing Dr Alyssa a few years ago for lower back pain that was pretty debilitating at times. After a few months it was way better. I'm pretty active but tend to overdo it sometimes and then I need to see Alyssa again. I've seen Dr Brittany several times and she also does a great job. Both doctors do a thorough analysis, both up front and before adjusting. This bad resulted in more careful, specific adjustments rather than "cracking everything." They've done an effective job explaining what they find and the plan to address it. I've seen dozens of chiropractors and they are among the best I have seen due to their data driven approach. Alyssa is delightful to work with and really cares about her patients. I struggled with an irritation/weakness in my rotator cuff for a couple of years. I am completely indebted to Dr. Alyssa at West Chiropractic for helping my daughter. My daughter has been an athlete since she was younger and is now 13. Over the past couple of years we have gone to her pediatrician with her concerns about her lower back and a noticeable curve in her spine. Each time we were told she was fine and she was prescribed physical therapy. I decided to take her to West Chiropractic to get a second opinion from hearing great things about Dr. Alyssa. She was able to see a few things right away, but wanted to confirm with X-rays. Dr. Alyssa was patient and explained that my daughter had compressed fractures in her spine and her pelvis was turned a bit. She was able to adjust her and my daughter felt the adjustment right away!
