My neighbor said this was a great place for pedicure so we went . I never imagined a pretty place because most of Taft street Shoping center is dumpy. I could have gone for the 25.00 dollar pedicure but I decided on the deluxe with the hot towels and hot wax for 38.00 . The foot attendant never mention a glass of wine choice with this deluxe so I had the white wine while the chair was massaging me and she was working on the feet. My friend had her Mustache waxed for 6 dollars not bad. Over all it was a nice experience for me . My friend on the other hand had her toe nails all mess up so we went back because she claimed the polish never dried. read more

I found this shop via Instagram, they have some of the nicest nail design photos on Instagram. I love trying new places out so I was quick to call and book with them. My appointment was at 2pm and ended up being pushed back to 2:30pm when I was 5 minutes away but I completely understand now because they really take their time with your nails. I booked with Susan, I showed her exactly what I wanted and she gave me exactly that. If you want designs, it's definitely worth checking out their Instagram and booking with whoever does the designs of your liking. I did french, ombre nails & they came out amazinggggg. Susan also did a wax & tint on my brows and that came out amazing as well. I refuse to go to Miami and pay $100 for brow tints when I can get a 5-star job done at most nail salons for what I think costed me only $8.00. & by 5-star, I truly mean that.... I've been to a few exclusive Miami brow bars and I still find my brows to be done cleaner-the same at nail salons than in Miami. I'd definitely recommend this shop. They're super clear on prices here, it's not a scam once everything is finished like some places I've been to. & to top it off, Amy.. who works at the front is as pleasant and sweet as they come. I was really excited to come back here. I visited this location a few years ago and saw Cookie, she was great. My appointment yesterday was at 11. I arrived @ 10:50. My nail tech was running late, so someone else wrapped my nails to remove my dip polish. My nail tech arrived at 11:15, with no apologies and acted as if I was an inconvenience to her. My pedicure included no massage. The gel polish on my baby toe fell off this morning. I've been getting gel pedis for years and never had this problem Rewind to my appointment. When we went to the manicure station, she removed the foils to start working on my manicure and was unable to get off my existing dip polish. She asked me what I had on there, where I got it done and said she can't get it off and that I must have done something to it???? I informed her it was OPI dip powder and there's never been an issue. She said she would try 1 more time and then "she's done". She wrapped my nails again and in the meantime was speaking out loud and to her coworkers, having them come by and look and was clearly very irritated. Whenever I tried to speak she ignored me. It was quite embarrassing. Then she left the station With no word for at least 5 min. She came back and the polish very easily came off. And then she started saying, "more alcohol". Clearly the first person did not put neigh acetone on my nails to remove the polish. I made a joke to her and she stared at me and yanked my hand toward her. This was an incredibly awkward encounter. I was barely out of my chair and she had the next person standing next to me waiting to sit. Mind you, she was 15 min late arriving to work that day too. read more

Used to be such a nice place. Now it's full of employees--some are the nail and facial care staff, some are just walking around looking over shoulders watching the nail techs like hawks over prey. Everything was rush, rush, rush! You can literally feel the tension in the air. I wish I could ignore all that, but my nail tech was clearly too stressed to even offer up a friendly smile. And she worked so fast I was thinking she might just clip a toe off. I'm going to give them another try. I come to this salon all the time but this review is for a certain nail tech. I believe his name is Alex, he is a tall kid with curly black hair. He is actually very rude and doesn't care much about his work. I first started off with my gel pedicure that I get once every 2 weeks. He cut up my toes so bad, my toes were bleeding and he was very aggressive. Then we got to my hands all my fingers bled and he cut my nails so short that you can see my nail skin come out(as you can see in the photos). They hurt very bad. Some of my nails because I had french, were crooked and some nails were not shaped either. Also I never asked for a manicure, he cut my cuticles a little bit cause it was flying off, didn't put lotion or massage or soak my hands and had the audacity to charge me for a manicure. He got super disrespectful after the manicure when I said my nails were too short. I love this salon but only for certain techs this guy is a no. read more

So I decided to check out the reviews after entering the establishment, under the impression that I would receive less than quality service. Much to my surprise, I liked it! I've lived in this area for about 10+ years and have been going to Elite Nails on university and johnson and figured it was time for a new salon, because elite nails always makes me wait, regardless if I have an appointment. So I walked here on a Saturday afternoon, albeit the busiest days for nail salons, and figured that I would have to wait. Nope. I walked in and was immediately brought back for a pedicure. One thing I love about this place, the decor and the space! It's so trendy and pedicure chairs are delightful. The lady who did my toes wasn't the friendliest, but she was quick and did a pretty good job. I'm not particularly looking to make friends with the technicians here, I'm looking for proficiency. And she was excellent. I came back again for a french manicure gel, and again I was immediately brought back upon my walk-in. Samurai did my nails and he did my nails exactly how I like them. Not cut too short, and the white tips just nice and thick. I would say that he is my new favorite technician. So all in all, I love it here. The price is right, there's always availability, and the technicians are pretty good. I'd say don't let the below average plaza fool you into thinking that this salon isn't good, because you'd be surprised. read more

I have to have some of the smallest toe nails ever, and today they wanted and charged $3 extra to use 3 nail polish colors. Who does that? No where is it listed they charge per color.
