General Tso, Pineapple chicken, broccoli beef.
    Penny L.

I used to love this place as a kid. We first got water that seemed to be in dirty glasses. The condiments are were very sticky. Service was okay except the part where the menu says our meal came with tea and they said no they don't do that anymore. Then take it off the menu and offer it to buy. General Tao's, egg roll and soup was bland. Pineapple chicken was nice hot and crispy but had no pineapple chunks and was more vinegary. The broccoli was cooked perfectly but not much meat and the beef was a bit tough but still edible although too salty. I would imagine this is probably good for Walla Walla not many choices of places to go on Sunday evenings. We will likely not eat here again but I know many people who like this place. It was subpar to us as we are not from this area and have more choices.

You get a LOT of food for your money here! Go for the lo mein if you want soft noodles, and you'll have enough food for at least a week (that might be an overstatement if you are a big eater). The other lunch specials are not soft noodles, so if you want a particular type of noodle, you'll want to check the menu items carefully. The place has been here for a very long time (with different owners over the years), and it could use a little facelift, but the food is plentiful and cheap. I'm not a fan of their egg rolls (have had better elsewhere)--not saying that you might not like it (just my own preference). We were here at lunch and there were at least four other booths with customers, so there's that.

    Classy place!! Great pours!!!

Good little place to get a cold drink in he hot summer. My buddy goes here all the time. Big pours in the bar with a lot of good friendly patrons here. The bartender lady is so sweet too. The beers are always cold too. I did not try the food yet. But I heard it pretty good.

a variety of food items on a table

Generous portions for the price. Ordered egg foo young, almond subgum chow mein, and fried rice. Quick service, ready in less than 20 minutes.

Got the beef lo mein and rice and all the beef in the lo mein was raw , sad to see how this restaurant has gone down hill

Today I took my boys out to enjoy this place once again. And after a very pleasant greeting and seating. We got what we ordered in less than 15mins. The food was looking just as good as I remember. But once I was able to smell the fried rice, instantly I could tell the rice had been burnt not just fried. I tasted a bit of it just to confirm and sure enough it was indeed burnt. Informed the waitress and her words "oh they gave you THAT ONE". We replaced with regular steamed rice and that was perfectly fine. My son ordered Beef n broccoli and on the surface it looked edible. Once you taste the beef you automatically feel like you're chewing flavored bubble wrap. And I am not exaggerating abt tht at all. It was the worst meal I have ever tried in my life. We immediately informed the waitress again abt this issue and requested the bill and boxes for the other two meals. The waitress was wonderful and fixed the bill for what was eaten/taken home. Left a tip of 25% gratuity for HER efforts. Heard rumbling from the staff in the back but I'm not sure exactly who or what was said but it sure didn't sound positive. I'll never return for anything on their menu. Maybe karaoke and drinks only.

Good service, good atmosphere, good food, even a well decorated bathroom, which I really appreciate. Nothing is worse than a restaurant that has a Plain-Jane restroom. It's always great to have great tile and flowers to stare at when you do your business, right? So the other half ordered something that I don't remember what it was called but I do believe it was the #42 menu option and he said it was tasty, so end of story on that one. Myself, I ordered us the Tom Kha soup which was effing delicious. My only regrets were that they didn't put more tomatoes and prawns in it. For $12.95 it was a little lacking in the shrimp department. 6 prawns were found in the soup... Also, the serving apparatus is ridiculous. Yeah, it's cool that there's a burner in the middle to keep your soup hot, but the ladle given to you for serving is too big to fit in it, so you end up using your spoon. Next, I ordered the Pad Thai with beef and Tofu. Nice and cliche, right? I had to try it out, since I'd had such great stuff on the west side of the state. Well, the only thing that disappointed was the portion size and the fact that there wasn't any cilantro in it. Pad Thai without cilantro? Really? So we visited, we ate, we enjoyed. The only thing left bent out of shape is our pocket books. Increase the portion size for what you're charging and all will be well!

With that said I'm only giving 3 stars because of the service or lack thereof not because my food wasn't flavorful. My husband enjoyed his curry dish. We walked in around 3pm and no other customers were there. We waited for a couple minutes until a man came out. He seated us and it seemed to both of us he tossed the menus on our table. He was definitely not friendly. Once he gave us our food he did not check back with us until he brought the check. We have but been back.
